Once back in the room, Rabbit motions to the items they collected. "We probably ought to divide things up. Except that bag that might be Gundren's. Did you have that one staff Krull? Maybe Margret should take a look at it? Or I could, but I already have this." She lifts the glass staff that she's holding. "Then we can get ourselves set for the night."
Rabbit goes through the items they had found. "The coins we just divide up," she says. Counting out 4 even piles, she ends up with 2 extra electrum. She quickly changes that for 8 sp and 20 cp of her own. So it ends up with 22 ep, 30 gp, 2 sp, and 5 cp for each person. (OOC - Started with 90 ep, 120 gp) "And Gundren's bag we didn't touch. The rest of the things we collected will have to be sold back in town. Although we still need to see if any of those staves is anything special. And maybe that longsword with the Neverwinter symbol on it."
margret was gently caressing his familiar's feathers, but then looked back at the group "yea! it can take watch while we sleep." she says, gently petting the owl's head. "also about the loot, i can try and identify them." she says, casting detect magic as a ritual. she would then inspect the loot to discover if there was anything magical in it, and to discover what the items could do
Calithor nods in thanks. "That would do much to set my mind to rest," he says. With that he settles into a short rest in the hopes of learning what he can about the angelic quarterstaff.

margaret, after inspecting the items, nods "both quarterstaffs and the statue are magical. . .the fragile statuette is also magical, but the traces are too faint to make out anything. . ." she grabs the spellbook, putting it into her backpack for future use. she then tells the others what the magical items does
"That staff should come in handy Calithor," Rabbit says after the item's properties are revealed. "What about the other Margret? Is it something you would use? Or we could sell it I guess. Not sure how much of a market there'd be in Phandalin though."
Rabbit tries to figure out what time of day it is as she settles down to rest for a bit. (OOC - think it was mid day, not sure how long our looking about took. Or messing with the owl bear before.) "Do we think there's enough daylight left to start to head back for today? I'm kind of thinking we stay here for the night, recover our strength, and hope that maybe Gundren can recover a little."
After his short rest Calithor looks over at Gundren, "I think we should stay the night, but this might help our friend...though it's unclear precisely what afflicts him."
So saying, he firmly grasps his new staff and reaches a hand out to touch the weakened dwarf as restorative healing energies flow over his body. If it seems to help, he will repeat the process but remains careful no to deplete the staff of energies.
Krull suggests as he prepares for a rest "Better not risk it.There are worst things out there than beasts and goblins.Don't forget there is a dragon on the loose. Remember the one we saw outside the manor?Also it would be harder to find our way back in the night won't be able to recognise our tracks"
After saying his opinion he starts polishing his shield and K.O and starts practicing
"nah- it's not my style." she responds to rabbit, nodding "i agree. . . they did a number on him. we better be careful, tough, but i'm sure we'l be able to pass this night with no problems."

In the morning Rabbit quickly gathers her belongs and is soon ready to get moving. Once the group is prepared to be on the move, she casts Mage Armor on herself using her glass staff. (Uses 1 charge.)
As the morning comes Krull gets up yawning and stretching. It wasn't his best sleep but better and warmer than others.His thoughts are getting to Sildar on time and deal with the black Spider "Morning team!You slept well?"
Gundren mumbles it looks like he is still out of it. Calithor's insight tells him, that time and rest will help Gundren not healing spells.
It takes you three days carrying Gundren. You have an rare occasion of having no encounters. After the second days rest your experience brings you a more powerful outlook on life.
The heroes of Phandelver enter the town of Phandalin on the third day, the first thing they see is Barthans of course. You see Sildar updating the town criers board. He turns sees you, with surprise he walks at a fast pace towards you seeing the dwarven figure on Krulls shoulders. "Amazing, praise the gods! You found him! Is that my sword? What's wrong with him? Quickly get him in the townhall. I have a bed there."

Gundren, looks at peace and he seems ok to be moved. But, since this is not greater restoration you still have two weeks before he is up and about.
