Calithor steps forward and clears his throat, "May I?" he asks with a faint smile. Assuming the others agree he faces the door.
"You have deeply upset my friend Margaret here; Can you not hear her?" he nods at Margaret, hoping for another theatrical outburst. "She -- and we -- only want a peaceful solution to the situation. Our good friend Raskin..." He smiles to the others, motioning a finger down his throat, "...has negotiated in in good faith with the other occupants of the mine to work together."
"Perhaps you could send one of your number out, to speak to Raskin, then matters might be cleared up? We will step away from the door..."
He then moves clear and motions everyone else back.
After the comedy of rolls, and events. The sound of iron sliding occurs again, the door opens to reveal a five foot tall dwarf, a slight nervous smile appears from between ruddy reddish brown beard and hair, cheeks slightly pink from embarrassment. Leaning against a pickaxe, he looks around not seeing the wererat. "E suppose if Asskin and thee lady says so, sir."
Rabbit had moved back for the others. And gives Calithor a nod as he seems to have convinced the dwarves better than she had. "Should we go speak with Raskin then?" she asks, glad that the impasse seemed to be resolved.
The wererats, Raskin and the miners come to an agreement. The group now has a pair of goggles of the night and 500gp worth of gems. It's now about Midday the weather is pleasant at the base of this mountain. Your stomachs growl, but, you have plenty to do. On the outside of the mountain Droop holding the horses looks at you expectantly 'Droop, hungry." your pack donkey grazes nearby, the horses well fed.
“Great work everyone!” Margret says, proud of their battle but even more pleased that they helped two groups with animosity get along after all these years.
"What a day!it's like this shit's happening all over again..Its starts with a simple escort and then everything goes off the road..And to have those small bugs make me wanna sleep?!" Krull complains while they leave the mountain
"We should figure out who can use those goggles," Rabbit says, once they are with the horses and ready to head out. "And I guess a meal is in order? Is everyone in good condition? It's off to Butterskull Ranch after this. Then after we see how things are there, on to Old Owl Well." She takes a look at the group members, "I'm fine seeing in the dark and I think Margret is as well. Calithor... think you're ok too. So Krull, looks like you just might be the owner of a brand new pair of goggles!"
When he reaches the fresh air, Calithor sighs then nods to himself. "A fine outcome, eh? probably should have bargained a share of the mine from Raskin, but he might have balked."
After drawing a few deep breaths he turns to Rabbit, "Where to? This shrine, or stick with the original plan?"
"Alright then," Rabbit says as Krull takes the goggles. "I think we can just have some rations for lunch and be on our way. You coming with us Droop? Are you our cart driver?" She had kind of assumed he was with Raskin, but certainly doesn't mind having someone to tend to the cart.
Once the group is on the road, Rabbit is content to walk alongside the cart, letting the horses just be tethered to follow behind. She takes a glance at the map. "Do you suppose Butterskull Ranch or Old Owl Well is closer? The ranch if along the road, although we were told to avoid Conyberry. So we'll have to leave the road at some point. The well might be closer if we cut through the hills. I don't know, I'm not much for navigating the wilds."
Krull checks the map and with his index finger points "Its safer to go to Old owl well and closer from were we are.we ll have to cross the hills. Is best to avoid that dragon also.I can help guide you since I was born in the wilds"
Rabbit nods to Krull. "Thank you. You can lead the way then. I guess that will take us arond Conyberry at least." As she walks along she glances at the horses. "Should we be riding those things?" she asks, the question mostly directed to Krull. "Seems odd just pulling them along behind the cart. Though, I'm good walking!"
At Krulls last words, Margret turns, eyes wide......"Did you say.....Dragon?" She looks at the group. "I must have not been paying attention........"Dragon?"
(OOC - If I have this right, the Old Owl Well is just to the east on this map. Rabbit's first guess would be to just take the green route - more direct. I'm guessing with the mountain road slowing us, that perhaps going around a bit to the red route would be better. Rabbit defers to Krull on that though. Maybe slow and direct is better?)
(Hum…)
Margret whips here eyes.
“Now what?”
She yells through the door
”Can you please get someone in charge so we can settle this peacefully?”
Calithor steps forward and clears his throat, "May I?" he asks with a faint smile. Assuming the others agree he faces the door.

"Maybe they will protect you from the next bug swarm Krull."
Margret laughs, a happy delighted light laugh.
"Oh, I wouldn't have missed that swarm on you for the world!"
(OOC: Margret can see in the dark, 120ft)

Rabbit seems relieved that the horses are not needed. She follows Krull, keeping an eye out for any dangers. (Perception: 6)

“Just kidding, but I’ve never seen a white dragon before”
The mischievous Margret laughs.
Draw me a line on this map the route you're going to take. So far the Mountain road you were following has really slowed you down.
