Quietly explaining what he saw behind the doors, Harq is almost at a loss for words by the cruelty of this place. He then simply nods to say that he is ready to move on, readying himself for the undead ahead.
With Thoradin leading the way, the party creeps down the narrow hallway toward the oddly-shaped room. The moment he exits the hallway, Thoradin sees that Elonath's warning is legitimate: two ghouls are lurking in the western portion of the room. The barbarian launches into a rage, swinging his hammer at the nearest undead, but he strikes the wall instead and sends a shower of sparks and stone fragments across the room.
Carlos, Sarya, Harq, and Rawlings may act in any order. NOTE: For Thoradin, I used the attack rolls in ikarbino's previous post. Reminder: moving through an occupied space counts as movement through difficult terrain.
As his friends charge into battle, Harq looks to the one closest to him, sending a mind sliver at it, unsure how much of a mind it has... ((int save 14 or 4 and minus 1d4 on next save))

“Let me at them!” Screams Rawlings as she wrestles her way past Harq and Sarya and takes the spot that Carlos just vacated. With her 10’ reach with the yklwa, she is able to utilize the weapon between Carlos and Thoradin to hit Ghoul #1. She thrusts it between the two and attacks the undead.

INT save for ghoul 1 1
Harqsees the ghoul shudder in painful confusion, causing the creature to be unprepared for the combined attacks from Carlos and Rawlings. The cleric's hammer lands a solid blow to the ghoul's midsection, and the monk's yklwa pierces its thigh. Reeling from both of those attacks makes the ghoul an easy target for Rawling's fist, which knocks the creature's jaw loose.
"Eat this!" Sarya says and fires a fiery bolt from her crossbow at the second ghoul after swiftly cursing it. Light crossbow: 23 Damage: 7 + Necrotic: 1 + Fire: 2
The second ghoul does indeed eat Sarya's magically-infused bolt; the undead twists and writhes in pain for a moment before crumpling to the ground.
Just as the party begins to think the battle has concluded, they hear a door open in the hallway behind them. A third ghoul, alerted by the clash of combat, has exited one of the rooms and now charges the party.

Eagerly, the ghoul tracks the tiefling's flight, believing it will have an easy one-on-one melee. Moments later, however, the ghoul is kneeling on the ground after having one of its knees shattered. Rawlingsthen delivers the death blow by driving her blade into the monster's side.
Combat has ended.
Including those in the oddly-shaped room, there are five doors for the party to consider.
"Alright, now that that is done, let's check out this room that the last ghoul vacated." As she waits for her party to join her, she walks down a square to see what she can through the doorway.
Rawlingspeers into a room that nearly makes her retch in horror. Blood covers the floor, and bones and fragments of flesh a scattered about. This seems to be the ghoul dining hall. There is a small leather--and blood-soaked--pouch on the floor amid the debris.

Sarya follows Rawlings into the room to cover her with her crossbow. "Hey, nice moves there Rawlings, can you really fly?" Sarya asks, clearly impressed with what she just witnessed. Stealth: 13 Perception: 7 Investigation: 23
" Hmm… Don't tell me that there are other customers waiting to served " Carlos stays outside the room. Because the cleric knows he is the least stealthy guy in the party. But that doesn't mean Carlos is idle. He bents his knees and prepares to jump in the room when he hears something.

Rawlings is a little stunned at what she sees in the next room. Coming from her background, she has seen quite of bit of things that would turn the stomach of anyone normal. She always felt it was just part of being half devil. But this was more than she was used to, but she needed to see what was in that pouch.
Turning to Sarya, “Yes, I can.” And without another word, she takes back to the air her wings outstretched and as quietly as she is able, she flies to the pouch, checks around for any traps and seeing none, picks it up and brings it back to the group outside the room. Then proceeds to open it.

While the others begin to check out the rooms and decide where to go next, Harq pulls an old scroll from his pack and begins spinning through it until he finds what he was looking for. Then ritually casts detect magic with it and peers into the open rooms to the south, informing the others of what he sees, and with his magic vision up heads to the northern doors to investigate them ((8)) for any danger.
I see everything! lol - and shit... I got the red flag of doom this time. no idea why. my investigation roll was a nat one (which is why I jokingly said I see everything... b/c I should be seeing nothing)
Also, for flavor, Harq's 'spell book' is more ancient scroll style:
Breathing heavily from his rage, and the embarrassment of missing, Thoradin wheeled around and rushed at the next ghoul, only to arrive too late to bring it down. Just then he had some hope of contributing when a third came into view but again he didn't even get a chance to hit it. He looked around, almost desperately, wishing for more enemies - but it seems there weren't any in their immediate vicinity. He smashed his hammer into the ground, then leaned on it as his rage ran out and breathing came back to normal.

Thoradin nodded in response. "Aye. I'll hold you to that." He laughed. "We're only heading to the lich's lair, I'm sure we'll be fine."
The sight of the flesh eating monster enraged him and he he charged right at it, swinging his hammer at it, his shield ready to block its claws.
