[Orc CON:  6, 22   Ogre CON:  6 ]

[I just realized I assigned T'laren's attacks last round to Orcs when they clearly targeted one of the Ogres.  There's really no way for me to fix this without a box of retcons other than to presume those dead Orcs somehow still died.  I'm applying the appropriate damage to the Ogre.]

Droknin bites the same Orc, dealing fatal damage and regaining a measure of health, filthy Orc-blood being highly nutritious.  Aranea blasts another, and then Barkas' burning moonlight finishes it off, along with hurting another Orc and the Ogre behind it.  Neral't sends another arrow at the Ogre nearest Droknin, which looks like it should be hurt but seems solely focused on the fluffy white darling in front of it.

The Orcs cry out in unison and resume their savage attacks on the invaders.

One attacks Droknin with its greataxe.

Two others focus their ire on Barkas.

[Barkas will need to make a Concentration Check DC 10 to maintain his spell]

A fourth Orc charges in from the West and hurls a javelin at Aranea atop the tower.

• Javelin Attack on Aranea:  24  Piercing Damage:  8

In the distance, it sounds like more Orcs are still approaching from that direction.

The Ogre nearest Droknin, perforated with three arrows, steps over the bodies of dead Orcs to approach its prize.  [If Barkas' spell is still up... CON: 8 ... it is burned by the Moonbeam but pays it no mind.]

"Mine Kitty!"

It reaches out with a big, dirty hand and tries to grasp the leonin barbarian.  Droknin must resist with an Athletics or Acrobatics check against DC 18 to avoid being grappled.  [If the grapple fails, the Ogre remains where it is, in space 1.  If the grapple is successful, it picks up Drokin and retreats with him to space 2.]

The next Ogre, burned first by the Moonbeam, howls with fury.

"Ugly Dwarf!  Dwarf make kitty be gone!"  

It hefts its greatclub and attempts to mash Barkas with it in a fit of picque.

The last Ogre can't reach the melee.  Instead, it heft another branch-sized javelin and hurls it at Barkas.

The party is up!

The previous Neral't having faded, T'laren calls his echo forth again before sending it up to send an arrow down at the ogre that is trying to make off with Droknin.

Attack: 28 Damage: 10 or 17 to hit if first is lower.

The elf falls back into cover.

((Ugh, that's a terrible damage roll on a crit. I'd suspected that you might have sent prior damage on an orc, but it cleared some out, and figured it was too messy to ask if you'd have to res a bunch of orcs.))

Barkas Con save to maintain concentration on moonbeam (with advantage due to his War Caster feat) : 17

Barkas maintains concentration on the moonbeam and it continues to burn the Ogre.  This round for an additional 13 points of radiant damage.  

Barkas shouts wallopin stick! and his wooden walking stick begins to glow, he turns to the orc south of him trying to clobber him over the head.  

Shillelagh : 17 to hit, for 6 points of bludgeoning damage.  

(Droknin takes 2 damages.)

Droknin's mane is covered with Ork's crimson blood at this point, and he feels young again. It has been a while that has has fought so many enemies. Then he sees a huge brute tries to grab him.

Athletics: 19.

Droknin

In the heat of the battle, not even a Ogre's grasp is able to hold him still. "Ahh, now we are talking about. Finally, a truly worthy enemy!!"

Bite Attack: 24 Damage: 7

(If the bite attack hits, Droknin restores 2HP)

Aranea cries out in pain as the javelin finds its mark. It didn't manage to hit anything vital, luckily, so the warlock yanks it out. Blood oozes from her shoulder, but she is able to ignore the pain for now. There are still many enemies left to send to the Hells.

The warlock notices the ogre focusing his attention on Droknin and the others attacking the big brute. The ogres are definitely the biggest threats so she switches her attack to the one trying to kidnap Droknin.

Action: Eldritch Blast Attack: 25 Damage: 18

Bonus Action: Hex on Ogre for 1 damage, impose disadvantage on STR checks

(Forgot to roll for concentration on Hex so...5)

(Aranea sadly loses concentration on Hex so ignore the Hex damage above.)

Ogre Save:  19

Orc Athletics:  13

The Ogre fixated on Droknin looks at its empty hand in confusion as the kitty had bitten him cruelly.  As he stumbles and falls from the reign of arrows and eldrich magic looses upon him, its clear he never even recognized he was in any danger.

Elsewhere, Barkas' Moonbeam kills another Orc and sizzles the Ogre nearest him again, though it seems less impressed this time.

One of the Orcs, tired of sparring with Droknin, begins to climb the side of the tower, gripping the crumbling stone and moving aggressively toward the top.  It vaults over the side and draws its greataxe.  "Hrmph.  Little lady... Little elf... Lotsa' fun for me..." it grunts out in broken Common.

Two other Orc move in closer and attack Barkas and Droknin, but fail to land a hit.

The last three Orcs rush into the area, moving aggressively and dashing, but not near enough to make attacks this round.

The remaining Ogres gasp when their companion falls.  

"Maybe Gerog does get a kitty..." grunts the one furthest south, though he finds the path to Droknin obstructed by swarming Orcs.  Frustrated, he throws his last javelin at Droknin instead.

Ogre Javelin Attack on Droknin:  26  Piercing Damage:  21

"Hah!" it shouts as the tree branch-sized javelin pierces the barbarian.  "Now stay put, kitty."

The other Ogre, still under the baleful moon of Barkas, swings its greatclub at the Dwarven Druid again, looking to put his lights out, figuratively and literally.

The Party is Back Up!

T'laren will call forth Neral't to perch on the battlements behind the orc before firing on the one that has scaled the tower, backing up himself as he takes the shot, and drawing forth his scimitar

((Ugh, I should know better than to edit a rolled post. Doesn't seem to have flagged me, but it was a 13 to hit for 9 damage before I added in movement details.))

The Big Cat is impaled by a massive missile. Things feels out of focus for a second, and he shakes his head to regain concentration. "Hummm... That was a very good one. Don't you worry, I will get you to soon enough." With that said the big Ogre, he takes out a red potion a takes a big swing of it. (Potion of Healing: 8) "There is no shame in taking any advantage to last longer than the enemy." He tells himself.

Barkas growls at the Ogre in the moonlight in a feral manner, as the moonlight continues to burn him.  He swings his wallopin stick at the ogre to hopefully bring him down this round.  

Shillelagh : 20 to hit the Ogre, for 6 points of bludgeoning damage.  

Moonbeam on the Ogre : 13 points of radiant damage, DC 13 Con save to cut this in half.  

One of the orcs decided to climb the tower. Aranea wondered if any of them would try. Time to put her rapier to work again. She steps right up to engage the orc in melee, brandishing her rapier in an elegant movement. Then she lashes out, quick as lightning, her blade eager for blood.

Action: Rapier Attack: 18 Damage: 11

Ogre Save:  19

Ogre Athletics:  15

Orc Athletics:  11

T'laren shoots the Orc once and Aranea finishes him off with her rapier, the Orc tumbling back over the parapet faster than he had appeared.  

As Droknin bravely drinks a healing potion, Barkas continues to shillelagh and Moonbeam the Ogre.  The towering foe is burned and bloodied, but not out of the fight yet.

The Orcs continue to swarm.  Two close in on Droknin with their greataxes while another tosses a javelin at him from the back row.

The last Orc gets the attention of the wandering, javelin-less Ogre, pointing up...

The Ogre picks up the Orc and clumsily tosses him skyward.  It seems for a moment the Orc is going to come up short of the tower, but at the last moment he catches himself and springs onto the top of the tower, before Aranea and T'laren... seemingly surprised it worked out so well.

The final Ogre, burned and beaten, howls in Barkas' face, flingling blood and spittle down onto the druid.  The he tries once again to pound him into the turf with his greatclub.
