"Eldath's Savoir! You talk quite fast! I have a small jar for you to store the liquid in, a map to find your path to the den, I would like one captured live but dead is also acceptable, you'll need silver weapons and luckily I have 2 silver daggers so that's that, and the payment you get is A. some 30 silver or B. my late mother's carriage for your bidding. The rest of your questions should be on the equipment or on this paper, here."
The librarian hands Sanctity a piece of paper, while scrummaging through her drawers, pulling out 2 silver daggers, a small flask that has a black line labeled "Minimum", and a small map.
"Imagine nerfing wizards so they can't cast ritual spells even if they don't have the prepared AND making it so they can't change their spells after every long rest. Oh yeah, that's my DM..."
- Elanorela, the Gnome Monk (Mercy) Wizard (Bladesinger) with a base AC of 17
"I wanted to say I told you so, but my god wouldn't allow it..."
- Sebastian, the Half-Elf Sorcerer (Draconic Bloodline) that is the victim of many 7 damage attacks. (His max HP is, you guessed it, 7)
Grudnik looks at the daggers and turns around to the rest of the folk about to become his allies in this quest. “Not an up close fighter myself, any of you handy with these here daggers?”
He turns to the librarian. “Any silvered crossbow bolts in those there drawers?”
"I can take one of those. If anyone else is comfortable with a dagger, they can have the other one." Brenward said as he stepped through the crowd of people standing around the librarian. "I would also like to check this book out." the human says as he hold up the "Ghost Hunting" book.
Sanctity looks over the paper to see if there is anything else that they might need for the quest. "I'd rather hope they are weak against magic. I have some knack for spells, either from range or from up close. I do prefer ranged, however."
Stann picks up the second dagger and runs his finger along the blade, "Wut's so special 'bout silver?" The blade feels pathetic compared to his maul. "Well we ain't getting any prettier, and if they come home at sun up we can greet them with proper surprise." Ambushing prey was in the blood of all bugbears, and he was no different.
Grudnik leans over trying to get a peak at the map as Sanctity looks through the papers. “Scouting the den before the hunting party returns sounds sensible. How long will it take to get there?”.
Travelling on foot will be slow going, and the Damned Forest is likely to have other dangers beyond Werebeasts. Makes him think that carriage might be worthwhile for future endeavours.
"I'd be happy to set up a proper ambush - I've spent a lot of time in these wilds so might be of use there. As for capturing one live, I believe I might be of some assistance, though I don't doubt I'll need help." Tom gives a smile that he hopes is reassuring to the librarian, then turns to the others. "As for our reward, coin is tempting... but there's something about a carriage that I quite like the sound of." Tom grins and then turns away, pretending to look at a stack of books. Oh, for the love of all things holy, let them be were-rabbits, or were-cats... anything, anything but a pack of wolves. Steeling himself again, he turns back to the party, prepared to follow along with whatever might happen next.
"Wagon's prolly worth more than the silver, and might be handy bringin' back the werebeast" Stann says as he sticks the dagger in his belt. An this knife is worth more than the rutting wagon!
"Well, to answer your questions, no, I haven't acquired any silver bolts, yes, you lot may check out these books, it takes about a couple of hours to get to and from, and there are a few shops and merchants that do sell silvered equipment but you'll have to find them, I am not very localized in this town just yet..." The librarian rattles on while checking and stamping Brenward's book.

“I think going to thier den while they are away is a decent idea. At the worst we would still fewer beasts there. But we should hurry since it is a few hours away.”
"Then let's go check out their den." Brenward said as he tucked one silver knife into a scabbard on his belt and placed the book into his backpack. 'A strange looking party, but, it will definitely give me a story to tell when I return home." the human thought to himself as he walked out the door of the library.

Grudnik looks at the others, and then back to the librarian. “It seems it is time we take our leave”, he says placing his fist over his heart before turning and walking out the library.
He looks to Tom as he walks, “You mentioned a proper ambush and capture of the beasts, does that mean you are familiar with tracking and travel through forests as well?”.
This would not be a familiar environment to Grudnik and he was keen to know they had experience on their side.
Stann heads outside, already imagining all sort of trick and trap to use on their prey. To bad we will only have a few hours to ready, nothin' like diggin' a deep hole were nobodies expectin' one. "Who's ready? No use sittin' round here with our thumb's up our arses." The bugbear's mood had improved with the prospect of violence looming.
”Lets get some chains and locks to hopefully prevent its escape if we do manage to capture one. I have a spell that may aid in capture, but I do not onow how strong willed these creatures are.
Libarian, how vulnersble are they to mental effects?”
"Welp, that's why I need the bodily liquid and/or the body... I'm doing this for the protection of this town but to protect the town, I need to know the weaknesses of the enemy. I'm only certain they are weak to these silver daggers here and other silver items. Silver is super expensive, however; The daggers only are probably worth at least 3 gold." She pauses, "So don't steal 'em, I spent a good amount of coin on these!"
