Unless i am remembering incorrectly. You had the revolver loaded with the Silver shot you found in the Pale Willow. Which means you have lost 3 silver shot ammo.

There is no rope at the bottom of the ravine, the walls of the ravine do not look climbable at all. They look like if you move one rock, the whole thing will come down.

Ooc: what about up above, i asked in #2602. Want me to do a investigation or perception?

The is no rope anywhere to be seen in this Open earth ravine. There is no sign of any kind of man made objects, There is the Log you had seen. Alot of grass and dirt, a large pond across the way and the ravine. 

Bean the closest trees you see around you are at least a foot thick and far to heavy to carry. It is high enough to make a sort of bridge across the gap but if you were to lower it into the ravine, you would never be able to get it back out. 

Bean as you curse and try to think the problem threw with the harpoon in hand. You feel it get slightly heavier. You look down and there is a extra 10 feet of chain that wasnt there before. SNAP, across the gap you see the figure from your dream and the New passenger standing side by side. Both have a strange Purplish energy coming from them before you blink and they are gone.

You now have 30 feet of chain attached to the Harpoon. To reiterate, the Rifle and the Harpoon are not magical. 

Bean stares blankly ..... "Did anyone else see that or am i even crazier. Also make sure im not hallucinating. Do i have another 10 ft of chain on here?"

Bean mutters to torla, "uh i didnt tell you this morning. But i think i already have a third passenger.... But she seems to be nice"

Bean takes the chain in hand and talks to it. "Ok chain. My friend is stuck and i need you to work with me to help him. Can you EXTEND to 60 ft please?"

Ooc: Only a crazy gnome would think to talk to a magical object to activate it (not counting activation words. I mean a conversation)

Bean as you take the chain closer to your face you swear you can see some writing on the chain for just a moment but you blink and its gone. You feel the chain get even heavier as it extends another 10 feet but stops at the 40 foot length. 

Can I reach it

Torla finally says, "Try lowering it down."

Make a acrobatics check to attempt to grab the chain and a strength check to keep hold of it.

Brythel you run and leap, actually managing to get hold of the chain with one hand but its the arm you had fell on. A throbbing pain shoots threw your arm and you fall back to the ground. 

“AHg, Damn this pit” Brythel shouts to the others “I CAN’ GET HOLD O’ THE CHAIN, CAN YE LOWER IT”
