Torla, you have a point of exhaustion. Until your next long rest all ability checks are made with disadvantage. Right now you are dehydrated and need water but not on the verge of dying via dehydration. You can continue on but you will have to seek out water before long.

Guys while I do have a Plot in mind for the Campaign, Survival still plays a large part. You have to remember to drink water and eat, Im not going to assume you did as that would take away from the campaign. There are several things that can happen if you forget, One of which Torla is experiencing. A Mild form of heat stroke and Dehydration.

OOC: Ok, so I was thinking Torla needed to take some kind of short rest since you had her sit down. If waiting doesn't serve any purpose, can we back up and all leave together instead of Torla suggesting she and Bean wait?
OOC2: VanderLegion, I'm glad you're feeling better. Don't feel bad for taking some personal time. RL comes first.
Alright, We'll say that after a few more moments. Bean and Torla start walking after the group, You've fallen a little behind, roughly 15 feet but nothing major.
I appreciate everyones Interest and Time put into the campaign, What Dirtydog said couldnt be more true. Real life comes first, If your sick take time to feel better. You have no obligations here, This is meant to be Fun and interesting. Not a priority.

The group of you, lead by Imras. Spend another hour following Eriks tracks, Looking to the sky you can guess you have roughly 3 hours of sunlight left. You soon come up to shoulder high grass(well over the heads of the Dwarves and the Gnome). This is where you lose Eriks trail, you see it going into the grass but cannot find any kind of tracks in the grass. Everyone make a perception check.
DM got called in for work early tonight so I have to go, No phones allowed on site so no more progress until tomorrow. Sorry folks.

Bean realizes that he cant see over the tall grass. "Welp, guess we small folk will look low while you two look high" pointing at Imras and tyrvan.
Bean bends over and does a Little wiggle. "No spirit, im not inviting anyone, my leathers were riding up. Now shut up and let me see if i can find anything"
Bean laughs. "Nah, he doesnt have a name, or if he does hes never told me it. I have to call him something, so i change it up. I try to fish for one he reacts to or doesnt like but in almost 50 years.... Nut'n, no real reaction"
Bean shakes his head. And slaps at the grass near him "No that wouldnt work you evil thing, hes not dead and it wouldnt stop us from lookimg for him either."
Erik remains at the spring for only a little while, just long enough for Korrigan and himself to refresh themselves and drink their fill. He then fills all three of his canteens with fresh water before turning back down the path to his true destination. Though no one is there to see it, a look of grim determination settles on his face.
He has preparations to make, for tonight...he hunts.
Imras, The tall grass while problematic. You are determined that if given time you can lead the group threw it safely. While the other are peering threw it, you spend a moment and look around. 20 feet away from you, next to a rather tall tree. You see the bodies of 2 small wolves. One looks relatively untouched from this viewpoint, The other looks like it has been ripped apart.
Erik, Korrigan is eagerly drinking. She was very thirsty especially after all that wolf meat she ate. When you both have your fill and with the Canteens over your shoulder. You whistle to Korrigan and she joins you as you both walk back up the worn path. Your destination is only 30 minutes away.

Torla turns in the direction of Imras's voice and begins marching through the annoyingly tall grass. When she reaches the tree with the dead wolves, she looks worried. "Any sign of Erik? Is he hurt? Is it one of these that was leaving the other tracks? Did he kill these?"
Even with the low investigation rolls, at the very least you'd find a single damaged arrow, discarded on the ground, that matches one of the wounds on the still-mostly-intact wolf. (Hope Reign is okay with me sharing at least that much.)
One corpse is torn apart, there are teeth marks but you dont know what from. The other has a small hole in its shoulder and is missing an eye. The eye looks like it was done recently. You do find a broken arrow laying next to the untouched corpse.

Ooc: mechanically only a long rest 8 hours can remove a level of exhaust as far as i remember.
Bean looks to Torla. "Sure, ill wait here with you. Imras, mark your path for us. Break branches, peel bark, anything to make it easy to follow you"
(OOC for sure me...thanks for the warning...lol)
Tyrvan nods at Bean's suggestion. "We'll make sure to make our path noticeable. Shouldn't be too hard for us to do that."

Hearing Bean, Torla quietly says to the Gnome in Gnomish, "Is that what he is called, Silver Bean? 'Spirit'?"
Bean laughs. "Nah, he doesnt have a name, or if he does hes never told me it. I have to call him something, so i change it up. I try to fish for one he reacts to or doesnt like but in almost 50 years.... Nut'n, no real reaction"
Irma’s peers out over the grassland, searching for any clues where Erik might have gone.

Tyrvan sighs..."I am so freaking tired of the freaking jungle and having to keep looking for people in it."
Still he shrugs and looks around trying to see if he can pick up on anything that others may have missed.
