Even though Torla's dex increased with her leveling up (woohoo!), story wise, I can see her falling on her patookiss as Leo deftly slips out of her grasp. She's disoriented and perhaps a little distracted at the feeling of goodness emanating from him. Sound good to you, DM? If so, she's prone at Leo's feet, but on the opposite side of him from the cave (he's between the cave and her).
From the cave comes a low growl, In the dark cave opening You see a set of Blue eyes peering at you Torla. You hear a Roar echo from out of the cavern as stepping out is a 12 foot tall Skeletal Panther. White fur and flesh hangs from its skeletal frame, In its eye sockets are 2 Piercing blue lights in the otherwise empty sockets. It steps just outside the cavern and arches its back legs.
Roll Initiative Torla.

After setting out with his supplies newly refreshed, Josiah makes for the spring post haste. Once there, he slakes his own thirst and cleans up as best he can, then refills the canteens with fresh water. Once Korrigan meets back up with him, he'll begin heading back toward the makeshift camp of the previous night.

"Captain Craine Dredge, Log #81."
"We have been stranded on the Island for a little over a month now. The Men are getting restless, Some have gone to explore the island in hopes of finding Aid. Torla whispers a prayer and her spiritual weapon appears beside the skeletal panther (action) and attacks (bonus): 11 + blessing: 2
I doubt that hits, but we'll put on the damage just in case: 10
And, DM, I request that you describe the scene. I admit I was disappointed in how you described it the last time Torla used her spiritual weapon since you agreed to my choice of spiritual weapon, saying you would allow it as a flavor element.

Torla, after witnessing the light from Leo you decide to make it a little bit brighter. Gripping your amulet you summon forth a brilliant golden Stallion. Hovering just beside the Panther wight. The Stallion shakes its mane and stomps its hooves in the air. Rearing up onto its back legs it brings its full weight down towards the Skeletal beast. The Wight, Hearing the horse as it lets out a puff of air. Moves its skeletal frame just out of the horses reach as its hooves come down. The Horse lets out a puff of air as it readies for its next strike.
The panther Wight takes another Swipe at Leo with its claw. With disadvantage because of Patient defense.
Attack: 10
Damage: 7
It then turns and moves towards the Prone Torla. Leo gets a AoO as it moves out of combat with Him. Attack: 19 + 4 Damage: 12 Slashing damage + 5 Radiant damage.
The Wight makes a Bite attack towards you Torla. You are prone so it has advantage.

We're not the first ones to be stranded on this island. Looks like a crew of 60 men was stuck here when their ship hit the reef. Next entry, there were only 14 left. Something is definitely not right with this place. It also mentions something about a treasure, though that's rather less important than food and water right now. Might be something to keep in mind if we survive this place. Hey Bean, it says the key was hidden in a box. Don't suppose that box you found had a key in it did it? Don't know what the last paragraph says though. He contemplates the letter for a few minutes. I wonder if Josiah is from that ship...
(Also, I'd like to point out that my post asking to see the letter - before being asked what languages I spoke - specifically called out hat I spoke elvish but not primordial :P)
Vander, I'm pretty sure Torla meant that anyone attempting to read the parchment should remind the DM of their language proficiencies, since it seems there is still a part of the letter that we haven't been able to read. It wasn't aimed directly at you.
Ooc: yup. Top two paragraphs are in elvish. Next is untranslated but has a celestial tint to it or something. And then a riddle in primordial. The first paragraph is a different hand writting. The second and third are the same. So elven and celestial from the same writter. And then primordial which is what i read which is the riddle.
Bean scratches his head." I mean i searched the box and found what was once a hidden compartment but it was destroyed, and i didnt check the ground where i tripped on the box."
Bean recalls this morning "maybe josiah is from the ship. The journal has logs but no dates."

Imras takes the parchment from Bean and reads it. I dont know primordial, but I can read elvish. Anything interesting in the journal?
OOC: Those looking at the parchment need to say what languages they can read because of that third paragraph.

Imras, what languages do you know?
Leo: 15
Panther Wight: 9

She prays a prayer of blessing on both herself and Leo.

No problem. We've kind of been hogging the forum anyway. I have church myself in a few, so I'll be AFK for the next couple hours. Been fun!

Wait, the first and second paragraphs show different handwriting? Even though they're apparently both written by this Craine Dredge fellow?
