The confusion, fear, and chaos reminds Faila disturbingly of the landscape which often perils her own mind. It's weirdly familiar, only played out among her companions, and this lends a very eerie sense of unrealism to the scene. Don't touch the boggle. Don't touch the boggle. She snatches another frozen stone and hurls it in her sling at the boggle directly across the oil puddle in front of her, and backs several feet away from the puddle.
Faila's attack whizzes through the air and strikes the boggle (#1), grazing its forehead. After attacking, she proceeds to fall back near Nikita ((moved you 15ft back - not sure if you wanted to move back further?)).
Blue Boggle #1's Turn
Paying no heed to the multiple wounds littering its body, the boggle (#1) hops and jumps towards Ermasnietsz. It strikes out with its long-nailed hands, attempting to pummel her.
Attack: 16 Damage: 4
However, by this stage of the battle, the boggle's eye was filling with its own blood, causing it to flail wildly and miss Ermasnietsz.
Blue Boggle #2's Turn
The second boggle watches as Faila retreats and sets off after her. Once it catches up it, similarly to the first boggle, proceeds to attempt to pummel its target.
Attack: 22 Damage: 4
Its attack punches through Faila's defences, dealing 2 bludgeoning damage.
Faila - Please make a Constitution Saving Throw.
Blue Boggle #6's Turn
Joining boggle #1, boggle #6 skulks towards Ermasnietsz. As it reaches its intended target it grins sheepishly before squirting oil all over Ermasnietsz from the pores in its skin.
Ermasnietsz - Please make a Constitution Saving Throw.

"What on Oerth are you doing?!" Meresaa exclaims at the sight of the fearsome warrior running from the tiny blue creatures.
With that, she slaps the hysterical half-orc on the cheek with all the strength she can muster, hoping to shock the woman back to her senses. "Get back in there! Your friends are relying on you!"
Not sure if you'd want a roll for that but here it is just in case.
Ermasnietsz - The oil proves to be nothing but a mild inconvenience; drenching your clothing.
Faila - As the boggle's oily hands make contact with your skin your mind races; could this be the end? will the boggle standing in front of you spell your doom? who can you really trust? You need to get away from the boggle and fast! You are now frightened of boggle #2 ((this lasts for 10 rounds but an attempt to overcome the effects can be made at the end of each of your turns)).
Nikita looks around with growing alarm at her allies beginning to turn tail. Are they abandoning the fight so easily? She forces down her fears and thinks.
No. It cannot be. Toska and Faila are each too fierce in their own way to flee so easily under normal circumstances. Think... it must be the fear coming from the Boggles... like the one that just struck Faila... I feel it myself...
Nikita once more sends Thumbtack to help and flyby, this time against Boggle #2 that Faila is now frightened of. She herself retreats 30' north (left) and the owl flies back to her shoulder once more with its 60' of flight and Flyby to avoid the Boggle swiping at it opportunistically. Attack with longbow at advantage on Boggle #2 in next post.
Meresaa's slap finds only air as she swipes out. "Oh, wow. Wow."Toska responds blinking in disbelief. "Keep her away from me and I'll fight," she grunts as she turns to face boggle #4.
Blue Boggle #4's Turn
Scrambling and climbing over the grove's fence, boggle #4 charges towards Toska. It jumps up and tries to strike the orc woman in the face.
Attack: 23 Damage: 1
Delivering the slap with the force of an award-winning Hollywood actor, the boggle's attack connects with Toska's face, dealing 4 bludgeoning damage. It shouts out at the orc in a language none of the party is able to comprehend ((if they were they may have discerned the words 'wife' and 'mouth' - unfortunately they were not, so the joke went untold)).
Constitution Saving Throw: 14
Toska stands bewildered at first. However, she quickly snaps out of her momentary confusion and bellows a challenge back at her attacker.
Spotting the need to place as much distance between her and the boggles as possible, Nikita drops back next to Claude. With Thumbtack's help, she strikes at the boggle (#2). Her arrow zips through the air and strikes the boggle cleanly, causing it to stagger and almost collapse, sending oil and blood spraying everywhere.
It is clear to any observers that boggle #2 is barely clinging to life; it sways uneasily on the spot and struggles to keep itself upright.
Blue Boggle #5's Turn
Blue boggle #5 jumps up at the back of Ermasnietsz and attempts to shove her to the ground.
Ermasnietsz doesn't seem bothered by the boggle's mischievous activity since she's probably went through worse treatment. But the view of Toska leaving the battlefield is enough to stir up the feeling of frustration. "Never disobey commands, Toska! Finish that blue thing... the smaller one!"
She yells to address the half-orc in a harsh tone while waving her hands to indicate that everyone else should take flight. "Toska and I will manage everything, head for the destination."
"Time's up"- Ermasnietsz casts Protection from Evil and Good on herself by flicking her wand that suddenly transforms into an hourglass. It encages her inside to offer protection from upcoming attacks, the illusory sands moving inside are obscuring the view of the opponents to impose disadvantage on attacks.
another Nick moves back 20ft (60ft off map, 120ft from #5) before taking a shot at the blue as goobers… “remember to breath nick nack… remember to breath” he reminds himself to calm down.
…
will will try to shoot goober #2 (unless it is prone, in which case #5)
((Nice move)) As Ermasnietsz casts the spell she gets a distinct feeling that the boggles become a lot more stand-offish and tentative. Their mischievous looks are replaced with worry and uncertainty.
Nick's Turn
Moving to a suitably safe distance away from the creatures, Nick fires off an eldritch blast at boggle #2. The beam strikes its target with extreme expertise, knocking it clean off its feet. The boggle momentarily twitches before lying still. That's one less boggle to contend with! Boggle #2 is dead.
Boyd's Turn
The arrow leaves Boyd's short bow and flies through the air towards the target. For a brief moment, it looks like the shot was about to miss, however, it thunksinto the right shoulder of boggle #5. The boggle lets out a cry of pain before looking uncertainly at its comrades, clearly questioning the decision to attack the party. Boggle #5 appears heavily wounded and is unlikely to survive many more attacks.
Toska's Turn
Muttering under her breath at Ermasnietsz's chastisement, Toska nonetheless springs into action. Smashing down with her great axe at boggle #4.
Attack: 19 Damage: 16
Perhaps momentarily overcome by the situation. Toska's attack misses the small boggle, cleaving into the ground beside the creature.
Constitution Saving Throw: 17
((Post hasn't been manipulated or edited in any way - the roll was a 13 for the attack which was a narrow miss. The resist roll for the oil's effect was also a 13 - a pass))
Thankfully, Toska uses the missed attack to clear her head.
Claude & Maud's Turn
Claude's eyes are fully white as he turns toward Nikita. As he speaks his voice is not his own, it sounds dark and guttural, a harsh speech.
Nikita - see below:
((Speaking Infernal))
"MUST I DO EVERYTHING MYSELF! If it is not bad enough that I am encased in this incompetent buffoon, must I also be surrounded by people that run from a simple boggle?!"
The voice is angry and frustrated.
"Looks like it is up to..." the word is unpronounceable even for those with a good knowledge of the language, "to save the day, again. The boy calls me Maud, I guess that will suffice..."
"Wait, does that elf understand what I am saying? YOU! She-elf! Do - you - understand - the - words - that - are - coming - out - of - my (well Claude's) - mouth?!"
Claude's hand raises and he flicks his fingers. A fire bolt goes shooting forth towards boggle #5.
Attack: 21 Damage: 10
The fire bolt flies harmlessly over the boggle's head. Claude curses once more in the dark language.
Nikita -
((Speaking Infernal))
"These damned gangly limbs... so cumbersome... how anyone can cast anything in this form, I do not know!"
Only four of the initial boggles remain; two boggles (#2 & #3) lie slain on the road, two boggles are incredibly injured (#1 & #5), and two boggles have sustained no injuries (#4 & #6). It seems like the scales of war are swinging in the party's favour. However, the sound of additional creatures comes from the east (top of the map), echoing over the frozen grove. They will soon be upon you.
Faila - A boggle lies dead at your feet, Nick's eldritch blast saw to that. Ermasnietsz stands toe to toe with three more of the creatures, bidding that you take your leave before any additional foes fall upon you. It is now your turn to decide, fight or flight?

Faila tries to fight down the unreasonable terror of the thing leering in front of her, when the Eldritch Blast smokes it dead at her feet. Glancing between Toska and Erma, she gulps, her hands trembling. We have them cornered now. As long as they don't touch us. She snatches up another stone for her sling, and hurls it at Boggle #1. Then she retreats, as Erma instructs, moving back next to Nikita and Claude.
Momentarily overcoming her terror, Faila unleashes a shot at the nearest boggle (#1). Unfortunately, it just misses the boggle by no more than a couple of inches. The boggles seem too preoccupied with Ermasnietsz to pay much attention to Faila as she retreats back and joins the others (Claude & Nikita).
Blue Boggle #1's Turn
The injury-stricken boggle #1 shoots an apologetic look at its companions before attempting to run back from whence it came.
Ermasnietsz - The boggle is attempting to run away from you. You may use your reaction to perform an opportunity attack if you wish.
Blue Boggle #6's Turn
Summoning more courage than his injured companion. Boggle #6 attempts to strike at Ermasnietsz. His tiny blue hand forms a fist as he attempts to pummel her.
Attack: 16 Damage: -1
The boggle's attack hits Ermasnietsz but is delivered with a child-like force, dealing no damage. The boggle shakes its hand frustratedly as though having punched a solid brick wall. Staring at boggle #1, it contemplates whether to follow its friend.
Though the creature's attack leaves behind an oily mark on Ermasnietsz, the oil has no effect on her.

Looking suddenly self-conscious, Meresaa clears her throat and straightens her robes before taking a few long strides, quickly encircling the creature engaged with Toska while it's distracted.
Biting her lip and glancing around to make sure no one is paying attention, she removes something from her sleeve and makes a quick, jerking motion toward the beastie while swinging her other hand overhead and down toward it!
