Kathleen and Ennis wander off on a pleasant walk. Though they encounter little of note besides some interesting trees and the occasional wild beast sighted in the distance, the night is warm and comfortable. Stars begin to appear in the sky, and the moon is full and bright. It is a perfect spring evening.
One moment all is well with the world, and the next the two of you have fallen into a man-made pit disguised with branches, dirt, and dried grass. The fall is not fatal, but the wind is knocked out of you and you sustain minor bruising when you strike the pit's floor. You have by this time wandered too far away from camp, and none of your friends can hear your cries.
The opening of the pit is much narrower than the area inside, so that the walls slope steeply. The pit is 10 feet deep, and so wide that you cannot see the far walls.

Okay, so not a basic pitfall trap then. Good to know.
Ennis groans from the impact of hitting the ground, shaking his head as he pushes himself back up into a sitting position. Looking about and seeing the gloomy shadows around him and Kathleen, he draws out his Moon-touched Dagger from its sheathe in his boot to give them a bit of light. Then he looks about to see what he can determine about the room/chamber they've fallen into.

Kathleen, gets up from the fall, "Ow!" She looks around for a bit and then looks up. "I don't think I'll be able to climb out of there." She then extends her hand towards Ennis to help him get up. "Are you alright?"
Using her Dark Vision takes another thorough look around.
She looks up again and then at Ennis and says, "Do you think you can stand on my shoulders and climb out? If you take 50 ft of rope with you, you can tie it to something and help me get out. Alternatively, you can go and get the others for help."
"It's fine. I don't think you can see in the dark as well as I can. So I will be better suited to staying down here longer. Just take your pack off before you get on (If you have your pack with you)"
Kathleen can see the remains of a ladder of iron bars seven feet above her, hanging out of the opening of the pit. The bottom half of the ladder lies rusting and decaying in the dirt to your side. It's lucky you didn't impale yourself on it when you hit the ground.
As Ennis holds up his dagger, the dim light glistens a bit on the old iron ladder which directs Kathleen's attention to it. "Huh? Why didn't I notice this before?"
She stands on her toes and reaches for the lowest rung of the ladder. She pulls a bit on it to test if it will hold her weight (148 lbs).

Kathleen takes her pack and all her weapon, armor and boots off. She then takes the 50ft of rope out of her pack and then says, "Alright! Boost me up so I can try to get out of here."
Ghorbash returns to his place a little away from the camp and watches the others wander off. He is itching to get moving, but the smell of cooked meat makes his stomach rumble. He walks over to Gris, "I've never had vulture. Can I taste?"

If I'm not mistaken, this thing is happening at evening/night and we had vulture before any of this even started. So you'd be waiting for whatever we're having for dinner, which is probably fish, to be cooked.
Gris shares part of the vulture with Ghorbash "It looks that almost like chiken".
(The meat was divided from the flesh and cooked on some temporary "grille" near the cart. Also fish were prepared so more or less everyone should be able to eat something)
[OOC: i tried to google if vulutre meat has some poison in it. It looks that it should be safe]

Okay, that's unexpected...how deep is the pit?

You can see very little in the gloom, but the floor beneath you is made up of soil, with several sharp rocks studded into it.

After cooking vulture and some fish Gris decided to stay near cart. He will watch his friends going for a walk as long as he can see them.

"Are you sure you don't want me to boost you up?"
"It's fine. I don't think you can see in the dark as well as I can. So I will be better suited to staying down here longer. Just take your pack off before you get on (If you have your pack with you)"
Ennis holds up his glowing dagger.
"I don't think seeing in the dark is too much of an issue. And I'm pretty sure you're lighter than me and would be easier to boost up."

"Good question. I'm wondering how I missed that myself."
The ladder creaks a bit, but holds.
Make an Acrobatics check if you are trying to pull yourself out of the pit. Advantage if Ennis is boosting you.
