Ennis elected to remain with the wagon and gear, telling you all that he'd keep watch over it for the next three days at least, unless something happens that forces him to leave sooner. If you all aren't back within three days, he'll venture back with the wagon to Byting to try and find help to come look for you guys.
Kathleen shakes her head and says, "Standing around here won't do us any good so I'm going to risk it and try to cross it." Kathleen tries to carefully cross the body of water.
The second Kathleen touches the water, four slimy fish-beings explode out of the water and launch themselves at the group, taking you completely by surprise.
The first one stabs at Kathleen with a wet spear. Attack: 16 Damage: 2
Another bites at Gris' foot. (That is all it can reach) Attack: 11 Damage: 3
A third hurls a spear at Adoy. Attack: 10 Damage: 7
The last fish-being lunges, spear raised, at Ghorbash. Attack: 10 Damage: 5

Ghorbash
Watching the fish being jump out of the pool causes Ghorbash to pull his battleax in immediate response. His blood boils as the frenzy builds within him. He raises his shield and strikes at the thing that attacked him. "Die Squid!" he yells as he brings his axe down in a sweeping arc.
Initiative: 12
Action: RAGE; Attack the fish being that missed him Attack: 11 Damage: 12
Edit: I edited my post because I forgot initiative. My attack roll was a 6, and my damage was 6. So, ignore the rolls that are listed above.

Kathleen swiftly tries to dodge to the side but the spear ends up grazing her side. She grabs her wound as some blood runs down her hand.
"Of course this would happen. Like there's ever any underground body of water which is just plain water."
Initiative: 14
She retaliates by lunging at the fish that attacked her, with her rapier. (Assuming she's within 5ft of it) To hit: 12 Damage: 13 If the fish dies from the 11 Damage, Kathleen will move to the back of the party and away from the lethal fishes.
If the fish got Kathleen from 10ft away with her spear and moving away won't trigger Opportunity, Kathleen will use her 30 ft of movement to move away from the fishes and head toward the back of her party. Then she will fire an arrow at the fish that attacked Adoy. To hit: 11 Damage: 11
Kathleen, since you are first in initiative but did not trigger an attack of oppurtunity, I will just take that roll as your normal attack roll.
The rapier buries itself up to the hilt in the fish-beings' belly, and it lets out a wet gurgle before Kathleen tugs her weapon free. The things falls to the ground, spewing black liquids but still alive!
Adoy recognizes the slimy creatures as kuo-toa. Kuo-toa are no strangers to this area, as most of you know. Adoy, it is your turn to strike.
Since a few people have made attack rolls out of order, I will skip their turns when they come up and resolve them now, since they act before the kuo-toa anyway.
Gris' thundering blows leaves the kuo-toa nearest him stunned, as he first strikes it in the ribs and then the face.
Ghorbash's blow is caught on one of the kuo-toas shields, and it lands with a sticky squelch. Ghorbash, make a Strength saving throw.
Hey so, since the fish next to Kathleen fell to the ground, I'm assuming it went unconscious from damage. Does that mean she can move without triggering opportunity or was it flavor text? If she don't trigger opportunity, can Kathleen move back?
Adoy will use a bonus action to cast shillelagh then strike at the one Kathleen already hit with his staff. He raises his staff above his head with two hands and brings it down as hard as he can hopeing to end it's life quickly.

Sorry, that was flavor text. I specifically notate it when something is unconcious.

From the light of the stone you glimpse a few pale fish, fish which have not seen the light of day for millenium. But nothing else.

Kathleen shakes her head and says, "Standing around here won't do us any good so I'm going to risk it and try to cross it." Kathleen tries to carefully cross the body of water.
Adoy will examine the pool to determine whether it is a natural pool or something made by the dwarves or someone else.
21 nature
The pool is naturally formed. How does Kathleen to about crossing?
Flayr Flameseeker | Genasi/Fire | Wizard/School of Evocation | Level 2 | Custom Campaign: Cold Cash
Trying to swim across. (I believe this will cause a huge movement penalty while crossing since she does not have swimming speed)

Gris attacks with a spear the fish-thing that bit him. He cuts from the bottom to the top with a fast swing
Attack 13 for 3
After the swing he will try to do the fast front kick (bonus action)
Attack 20 for 6

The thing somehow manages to raise it;s shield to deflect the blow. Adoy, make a Strength saving throw.
Ghorbash, you still need to make your Strength saving throw as well.
