"Hale and well met, fine fellows!" Ennis calls out as the group comes within earshot, doing his best to avert his gaze from the dwarf's terrible fashion choice. "Would this happen to be the fine Byting Stables, where it is said the finest of mounts and conveyances can be obtained?"
Adoy squints and looks closely at the dwarf, then shields his eyes as if from the sun. He looks at Gris and says "I believe it to be some sort of Dwarf, but one whos legs are made of the very rays of the sun itself! Do you think he is dangerous, that poor horse seems to be distressed, should we go to its aid?"
"Nice pants!" Ayoola says with sincerity to the Dwarf. "Who's in charge here?" she asks looking between the Dwarf and the woman. "We are looking for one Todd Merryweather, a halfling friend of ours. Did he come by here?"

One of the men halts his attempts to calm the horse and turns to Ennis in disbelief.
"Well I don't know who told ye' that rubbish, but ye' can get a 'alfway decent 'orse 'ere, anyways." He says bluntly. "We got pack 'orses and sturdy ponies mostly, but excpetions can be made."
"Nice pants!" Ayoola says with sincerity to the Dwarf. "Who's in charge here?" she asks looking between the Dwarf and the woman. "We are looking for one Todd Merryweather, a halfling friend of ours. Did he come by here?"
"Thank you, thank you!" Squeaks the dwarf in a high voice, very peculiar for one of his race. "Finally, a human with fashion sense!"He leans in with the air of a fellow conspirator. "You know, most of you can't tell a jerkin from a tunic!"He looks very shocked that this could be mistaken by anyone, even a lowly human.
The woman, who has been pointedly looking away from the dwarfs' breeches, responds to the second question.
"Yer friend, eh? Well, as a matter of fact, a halfling did come by this way. Wanted a pony, 'e did. Your halfling friend a very picky sorta person? On'y it took two hours afore 'e was statisfied with the one we gave 'im. Mind you, he did pay well. Anyways, he's got to be a days ride away now."
Adoy nods in agreement with Gris and approaches the horse, Ignoring the handlers and the shiny dwarf.
Adoy only knows the speech of smaller animals (Speak with small beasts, racial trait) but he will cast Animal Friendship on the horse to try to calm it down enough so Gris may speak with it.
Ghorbash sits back and listens to the exchange. Knowing that the half long had been here gives him hope and starts to drive him harder. “We need to make up time.”, he says to the group.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Girs will try to calm the horse. He approaches (in a soft relax way) the horse diagonally from the front and makes "welcome" gesture with hands and his body (as waiter in restaurant)
Gris will say with calm voice "don't be afraid noble traveler. We are not here to hurt you. Please help this poor human leavings with your strong back and legs"
Persuasion 13 (adv, from Speech of Beast and Leaf.)
The horse is now visibly calmed, and the two men thank Gris and Adoy gratefully. One, taller than the other and with blonde hair, speaks up.
"That un's always been tough to 'andle, but today she's extra riled. Say, guv, would you be interested in summat like 'er? Spirited beast, but fierce as flame. Wouldn't cost ye overly."
Kathleen watches the interaction between the different people at the stable and her new friends. She decides she should help them in any way she can instead of standing idle.
If the party is going to try and get horses down at a cheaper price, Kathleen will Help (The site doesn't like full-stops.)
(EDIT: I don't know why I wrote down at a cheaper price. It sounds weird to me.)
Kathleen says, "I can spare 15 crabbits (gold). I'll leave it up to you guys to sort out what you need."
(We can try and talk to him but it looks like everyone but Ayoola is finding it really hard to look at him. Kathleen too, but she's trying really hard to not be judgemental.)
(EDIT: I am just messing up my sentences left and right today. Maybe I'm just tired?)
"If we want a horse to travel with us why don't you just ask the horse if he would like to come with? He dose after all have a mind and will of his own, and I doubt if he cares anything about the exchange of round bits of metal."

"You've been around humans for long, then?" Ayoola asks and smiles. "Where are you from?" She reaches out with her hand. "I am Ayoola Nyu, by the way. Nice to meet you." She pauses to give him time to answer before asking: "You wouldn't have met the halfling I mentioned?"

Gris whispers to Adoy "what is that bright thing?" [OOC: not an easy thing if we think about height difference]

To Adoy: "We could calm down this poor animal"
[As Gris have animal handling and racial feature "speakinh with animals" he would try to help Adoy handling with the horse]

"I do not know mister. We will probably need some strong horses but I do not have many these gold crabbs"
[OOC: maybe we should get two horses + cart?]
Don't think we can really afford more than a single horse and cart, IF we can afford even that.
"Well, how many ye got there, anyways? We could give ye a discount, perhaps."

Gris turns to the rest of the team (he will try to be discreet)
"How much do we have? What do you think we should try to get a horse and a cart? Do we know now where to go?"
