"Odd... Someone pursued the goblin perhaps?"He questions aloud and knelt down by the prints, though hadn't expected a genuine answer. "Or perhaps..." He trails off tracing a symbol in the air and whispering brief prayer for guidance, before then committing to studying the prints in further detail.
"Hmm... I'm not sure about you all, but I'm picking up at least... five or six distinct goblin tracks and... eh... I'm no expert, but there's a human-like one along with them. Someone likely working with them given the age, the spacing, and lack of signs suggesting a struggle." He looks up to the others with a half-smile. "At least that's my read. And given the typical nature of goblins, I... I think there was more going on with yesterday's raid than meets the eyes." With that he stood up and dusted himself off. "Either way, we'll need to enter the tomb to get after them, so let's hop to it." He promptly makes for the entryway of the tomb, figuring it to still be at least unlocked, and with warhammer drawn proceeded inside with the trust of the others being hot on his feet.

Kraig crouches down to get a closer look at the tracks.
SURVIVAL: 24
Kraig mutters to himself, trying to parse out the information in the earth when Zelvo READS the area. The dwarf gives it a second look using the info the Desnan pilgrim gleaned and is struck by how obvious it is NOW, “Uhh. Aye, I saw that too…nah, tha’ were a great read, Zelvo.” He stands back up and dusts himself off before clearing his throat, “tha’ means we should enter ready fer anything.” The dwarf sharpshooter pulls a slender, curved hunting blade from a sheath behind his back, hidden under his cloak, in case there isn’t space to draw his bow.

Nina yelps in surprise, having been focusing again on the tracks in some confusion of how the others got any information out of them. Despite still being in the back, she scrambles back a bit more at the sight of the skeletons, aiming to put a bit more space between her and the enemies nervously.

As the skeletons burst out of the tomb and attack, Kraig chuckles under his breath, "Well, tha' be unexpected. Bu' at least thar is plen'y o' room ou' here." He slides his hunting blade back in it's sheath before drawing, nocking and releasing an arrow at Skeleton 1 in almost one fluid, trained movement.
Quickdraw McGraw: Attack: 9 Damage: 4
The shot was sloppy, Kraig grumbled some obscenities, and moved to the side of the area, hoping to line up a better shot as the skeletons came further out of the tomb.
Zelvo just mutters a goblin curse while sidestep a strike. And then with a tensely whispered apology to follow after, the warhammer is brought to the back of the Skelton's skull in an at least vain effort to end things quickly for the restless dead.
Despite himself, if the hammer yet struck true even Zelvo wouldn't help grinning for just a moment, as well as calling out, "Perhaps you're right, Kraig. The extra room has served me quite well!"
Rashimi destroys the second skeleton, her tiny kick splitting its' skull open! The tomb is now empty and you all level up to 2 for your continued heroism!

With the last skeleton's fall Zelvo lets out a sigh of relief. Yet the feeling proves to be a fleeting one as panic grips the cleric's heart and spurs him to rush to have a look inside for the culprits. "By the left tit of Desna! The blighters are long gone by the looks of it. Probably slipped back out the way they came. No wonder the tracks were rough to read." He laments staring angrily at the insides.
Though moment's later the cleric gasps, covers his mouth for a moment, and then began muttering some quick prayer while after a few quick motions. "... Sorry, I um... *ahem*... W-we'll need to get go back and inform the father the bad news about the culprits. Or, uh, I guess that'd be your job, Sheriff?"He adds, finally drawing attention back to Hemloc, who they had been accompanying up until then. "Could be he might know what they'd been after, if anything is missing from in there."

The sheriff holds up his hand and walks in the tomb to investigate. "There's some strange robe left in the tomb. Too big for a goblin, must've belonged to whoever they came with." He continues on and finds something that startles him. "By Desna! Father Tobin's bones! They're missing!" He comes out, looking fairly pale. "I can't believe it, they stole Father Tobin's bones." The Sheriff composes himself and looks toward the rest of you. "I'm sorry to ask this, but could you keep this a secret from the townspeople? Father Tobin was a pillar of the Sandpoint community during his life. To hear of his bones being desecrated, especially right after a goblin attack, would crush them."

Zelvo looks hesitant at first, but then slowly nodded in agreement. Though half way into the second nod, the cleric pauses and frowned at a soon to be spoken thought. "Father Zantus will need to be made aware. I doubt many had cause to visit the tomb, but... just in case, I guess? To keep folk away. A-at least until this whole thing is..."He pauses again, brows furrowed as eyes flitted about as if searching the ground for something for a few moments, before then looking up again. "I don't s'pose you have any idea who might've wanted them? The bones, I mean."He asks of the Sheriff.
