"Oh, it's quite secure Run! See this rope?" They point to the rope tying the alicorn to their back. "It's a magic rope. Unless I command the rope to untie it won't fall off me or get taken without my knowledge. After this it will be with someone far more qualified to have it then me."
The fair seems to spot the source of the light and points down "I think I see where the light is coming from. Godshell, if you want to speed me up I'll dash down while you are all so high up and then dash back before the terrasque even has a chance to wake up. Hopefully we get out of here with it being very confused what happened. If no objections then Godshell speed me up and Rum you be ready with the mirror."
"Wait" Malenia cant help but interject at this point, remaining fairly silent and letting the glad handing about the fight transpire. Feeling more that they were lucky than skilled, particularly in a fight where so many of them share common skills. "If I may.....Your plan is to rush the slumbering beast and wrest away the thing which it guards? You are assuming the Triforce will be out in the open, not under paw or tail of the creature. If the task was as simple as snatch and grab, Im sure it would have been completed without our assistance."
"I do not mean to doubt your skills Delph, I am just suggesting that perhaps we take a more cautious approach to the task before us. If you are caught without our aid, Would you be able to survive such a beast?"

"I share your concerns, Melania", Rum calls across.
"Be careful, Delphinium. If things are not as they seem, or you are not certain you can retrieve the Triforce, return to us and we will make a new plan", he advises.
He directs Keg to circle the pillar of light whilst he awaits Delph's return, retrieving the mirror from his pack ready.
Looking down the column of light, two things begin to make themselves clear.
First, there is something at the base of the pillar that is no doubt the source of the light; floating down there, spinning in place, as an object, very small, almost indiscernable in fact, but the longer they watch it turning in the air, the more they're certain it's triangular in shape. It's hovering above the ground and doesn't seem to be connected to anything.
Second, there is no tarrasque. There are a few jagged rocks sticking up below the spinning object, but nothing even remotely the size of the monster they were warned to expect.
As the force of the spedd hits Delph they seem to shimmer in place. Their wings suddenly beating so fast they seem to generate a light of their own. Seeing no terrasque Delph points, smiles and says in a much faster voice almost too fast to understand "Oh! Look. It'snotthererightnow. Still, betterbefastingettingit. I'llberightback. Don'tyoufret!" With that the fairy zooms on down looking around in area. They even dance a bit around the light for fun. As they look around everything seems to be standing still from their perception. They smile and continue to dance in a circle around the beam of light. The fsiry moving so fast seems to leave a light trail behind them making it look like a corkscrew of blue light is spiraling down and around the pillar of light shooting into the sky.
Delph conti ues to be on alert but with everything moving so slow the fairy gets a bit bored. They do a few summersaults in the air and continue to go down and down until reaching the triangular item. Before touching it they look around one last time just to make sure it's clear.
“The Tarrasque has been trapped by the light of the Triforce for 2000 trine. The ground has likely built around it. Do not believe it is not there”, Rum calls after Delph, but whether he hears it or not he cannot say.
He continues to circle the pillar of light, keeping an eye above and around them as well as below. The Tarrasque is not only threat in the crater.
There is a moment in time, in the moments before the tarrasque appears, where things seem to be going better than anticipated. When Delphinium's hands land on the Triforce of Courage, a pulse of golden power emanates in all directions, lighting up the entire bowl of the Crater for a blink. Delphinium feels the awesome power that they have laid their hands upon, a power that makes the alicorn seem completely and utterly trivial.
The fairy races up as a golden streak, moving with incredible efficiency, as the ground bulges and breaks below. There is a sound like Hyboria tearing open as the ground rises, falls, and rises again. The second time it falls its quick, the dirt in the bottom of the crated falling fifty feet or so through the air before crashing back to the ground in a plume of dust. The huge, jagged rocks standing around the area where the Triforce of Courage had been suspended only moments before turn, as if connected to the back of something huge below the surface...
As Delphinium jets upwards, something...happens...
He strikes something...
The ground beneath Delphinium begins to boil, with dirt and debris, boulders and huge chunks of Hyboria falling away to the sides as something rises up out of the ground. A tail a hundred feet long rises from the soil and begins to rattle...
The whole sky rumbles upon Delphinium's collision, but the Fairy is tough and rights themself as they flip back from whatever they struck.
Jagged boulders continue to rise into the air beneath Delphinium. The rattle continues. Something horrible, something eons old and eons angry rises from the ground. Yellow irised eyes flash as it cranes its neck into the sky and roars...
It looks up, continuing its search for those that have freed it, and deciding to thank them with death....
It screams, this time more high pitched that the roar, and a purple beam of energy looped by a golden spiral slices through the air around the heroes...
Rum leans over on Keg looking down and watching as the streak of light that is Delph enters the pillar of light and sees the Triforce start to ascend up towards them. And then he watches as the whole landscape around the area begins to shift and pulsate. As he had anticipated, the Tarrasque had been buried during it's slumber and now it wakes.
But it was too late, Delph was too fas....BOOOOM!!!!!
Delph hit something, some sort of barrier that stopped him from returning to them.
And then the full scale of the Tarrasque is revealed, a monstrous nightmare of a creature. He winces as it roars and scans the sky.
As the purple and gold beam slices passed him, he is brought back to his senses.
"It is definitely not a morning creature!", he calls out loudly to the others. "Everyone scatter. Try and stay out of range and give it lots of targets whilst we figure out what is happening".
He gives the others a chance to reply before banking away, scanning everything below them to figure out the range of the Tarrasque's attack and what the barrier might be and what is causing it.
Keg
Movement: 80 feet away from the other's, staying high for now Action: Dodge as he flies in corkscrews and banks from one side to the other
The tarrasque roars again, the rising dust cloud around it billowing with in the output of its voice. There's a second where it seems like it may be interested in turning its attention toward the band again, but instead it looks west, over the edge of the crater, and begins to walk, making its way toward the two Watch towns and Skyloft...
To say Delphinium was surprised is an understatement. The entire world seemed to be lifting up below the fairy and it was almost disorienting just how massive the terrasque was. "Oh!Shitthatthingishuge!DadsgoingtoloveIreleashedsuchacoolpredator." Delphinium zooms up as fast as he can but they seemed to hit something stopping his retreat. What's more it was invisible. This weird barrier giving delph a headache as well as confusion as to why they couldn't just fly straight up. As Delph touched whatever it was something felt wrong. So wrong. Like an unnatural fear being forced on them. Born of a fear Delphinium wasn't even aware they had. Like a nameless void of something that would terrify them. They shake their head and manage to shake it off but it rattled them enough to be highly on guard. Delphinium was raised in the feywild and trickery, invisibility and such was common place.
Even a fairy as inept at magic as Delph is able to use the bare basics of magic needed for survival. Faerie Fire. With their senses enhanced well beyond the normal and perceiving time moving so much more slowly the tiny fairy casts out the magic to highlight and reveal what is in his way. "Invisiablityisn'tthebestagainstusfairies." Their words still sped up from the haste spell Godshell provided. They cast the spell at breakneck speed which will reveal everything in a neon light outline. Delph was always partial to blue. Whatever it was there, Delphinium should be able to see it now and he plans to fly as fast as he can to get around it. He can still move at ludicrous speed around it or away from it depending what it is.
He feels the pulsing power of the triforce in his hands. The alicorn on his back and he is not getting stuck here. he holds the triforce tight and his blue glow brightens. If the thing blocking him seems to be an enemy he summons his astral form to surround and protect the triforce and himself. He gets both his massive large arms as well as his visage giving him the ability to see even in the dark up to quite a range. Then gets 220 feet away from them in the most optimal direction. Ideally towards his allies. If its just a barrier and does not appear to be an enemy he just flies 440 feet to try and get around it and to his allies. Whatever it is Delphinium tries his best to keep track of it and to see if there is anything else around trying to stop him. In both circumstances he uses one action to have his rope of entanglement coil around the triforce binding it to their body as well as the Alicorn so they can't be taken easily. This all happens in a single round if needed because Delph is just ridiculously fast right now.
Seeing the Tarrasque heading towards the watch towns was not ideal. Circling back around to within distance of the others, Rum calls out loudly, "We have to get to the watch towns before that thing does. They have to send the crater into the sea before the Tarrasque makes it out".
He looks down to see how Delph is doing. "And we need to make sure our Fairy friend is not trapped here before we do that", he adds.
"Godshell, you know magic, is there magic at play here?".
As Rum listens to Godshell, he takes out a copper coin and drops it from above the barrier, watching as it falls through and heads to the ground.
He then takes his quarterstaff and directs Keg to drop low towards the barrier, at which point he lowers the quarterstaff through the barrier. He notes as it goes through and comes back without issue.
Flying closer to the others, he calls across, "It seems objects have no problems passing through. Does anyone have means of getting an object into the barrier and bringing it back? If we could test that works, we might be able to just pass the mirror to Delph and send the Triforce through. Ideally without risking another one of us being trapped. Then we can work on getting Delph out, if that doesn't solve the problem anyway".
"Oh, it's quite secure Run! See this rope?" They point to the rope tying the alicorn to their back. "It's a magic rope. Unless I command the rope to untie it won't fall off me or get taken without my knowledge. After this it will be with someone far more qualified to have it then me."
