With the sense gone Delph seemed satisfied with their action. Godshell seems to be quite surprised at the fairy's strength. They smile as their relax the giant arms but don't dismiss them yet. The Ki requirement to make them is taxing and they didn't what the expenditure of power to be wasted. The fairy flies over which with the multiple arms is probably a bit reminiscent of a flying blue armed spider going at them. The fairy stops near them and says "Yes I did! I'm the strongest fairy in the world! ...or at least the strongest I know. Until I find another fairy with more strength then me I'm number one. I'm not the best with magic though, far from it. Anyway, problem solved. Don't know what was messing with our minds but its hiding now. Lets go get the triforce." The fairy seems ready to just go. Definitely no plan in place at all.
Rum looks over to Delph from his perch atop Keg as he claims to be the strongest Fairy in the world. He couldn't deny that his statement was likely to be true after the display he put on.
"Got that out of your system now?", he says to the Fairy with a smile as he directs Keg to take to the skies.
"Let's go get a look at what we are dealing with. If we stay high up we should be ok, whatever is causing that unnatural darkness is working in our favour it seems", he advises as he looks out to the darkened landscape full of pockets of smoke, the three suns completely blotted out.
"Just be careful of other winged things prowling through the darkness", he adds.
The party having seen through this deception, Slade prepares a lighthearted bit of illusion to lift their spirits before the coming mad dash. With a few whispered words and a twitch of his nose,
A diminutive man clad all in white appears at the brink of the drop into the crater. With a wave of his amber cane he speaks in a thick Scottish accent.
"Welcome, to Tarrasque Park."
With that the gentleman bows and dissapears leaving only a single, very large, 3 toed clawed footprint behind.
Malenia, looks back towards the church. Whatever had distracted her sense had been dealt with in a rather impressive feat of physical strength, Yet she lingered in the direction for a moment. Staring blankly into the no glimmering innards of the church, whatever was playing that trick had meant to tempt her with gold and treasure. Yet she was never one for the likes, she was a simple person with simple needs. It was the feeling that had enticed her. Something she had not felt since leaving her exile.
Breaking from the momentary trance she turns back towards the ground, moving to mount her deathhawk once more. "Agreed Whisk-" She stops herself. "Rum, lets get a look at exactly what we will be dealing with and take it from there."

Delphinium smiles at Rum's attempt at humor and gives them a little clap. "Oh! That was nice! Good illusion!" They turn to face the temple "Next time be nicer like that with your illusions whatever you are. Okay, bye! We going over there now!" With that the fairy launches into the air. They begin to fly in the direction of the pillar of light but then remember their Death Hawk and go back to have them follow too. Once all are in the air Delphinium looks down at all the monsters with a particular interest in one... maybe two. The fairy scanning below for signs of monsters, particularly multi-headed ones that might have a nest down there. As they fly side by side with the others they dim their blue shine to hide in the sky. The large arms becoming hidden but one will notice Delph isn't getting too close to anyone and one might suspect they are still there.
As words of going and seeing what there is Delph wasted no time getting aloft but they will also flutter over to the group and say "Hey! So, we need a distraction right? I think I got one. A good one too. Just let me know when we want it then I'll get it started then we can go get the triforce while the other monsters... entertain each other." The fairy gives a mischievous grin.
Rum watches the illusion as Keg takes off with slow, powerful wing beats carrying them into the air until he comes across a thermal to help increase altitude before heading out over the crater.
He twists around to make sure the group are all together before focussing on the way ahead and below them, looking to take a curved route around the Pillar of light first off rather than a direct route to it.
"A distraction will surely be helpful, yes Delph. It may be best to fly passed first rather than go straight for the Triforce though. Could you aid us all in our communication whilst airborne? I am not keen to shout above the wind lest we attract attention, but we all need to work together and for that we need to talk", he says.
As the group clips along, flying high over the crater, Delphinium spots something down below. A nest with three eggs in it, each one half the size of a medium humanoid. Much bigger than the tiny fairy....
The flight over the crater brought them closer and closer to the pillar of light, even as creatures howled in the darkness and circled in the air, stalking for prey in the expanse below. It didn't take long for one of these groups, three wyverns, to spot them and race to close the distance...
General Information-
Going to do mounted combat a little differently so it doesn't make a mess. I rolled initiative for RIDERS and MOUNTS. Then paired the highest rider with the highest mount and moved from top to bottom. Then averaged the MOUNT and the RIDER's initiative and placed them in initiatve order as ONE CHARACTER.
When you post, you can post for your character AND your mount!
You're fighting at an altitude of 800 feet.
So for those who don't fly...if you fall all the way to the ground, you're dead.
If you want your mount to do something (for example, you fall off and you call it to you, or you jump off to attack and give it a command to pick you up or something) you can roll Animal Handling with Advantage. Remember; these are military mounts and well trained.
As long as you're mounted on your mount, you do not need to roll Animal Handling to make it obey your commands.

Flying through the abnormally darkened skies Delph looks up with a bit of an odd look at the darkness. They look back at the spear on their back then back down below. They seem determined to find something and sure enough they heard the calls of them earlier. Hydra. Delphinium was a bit curious what all these monsters were doing here but Hydra don't fly (yet), and the fairy had heard tales of them from their father. Scanning the ground the fairy acts as messenger to the others. This all involved the plan Delph had to make a distraction.
As Rum gives the okay Delph spots what they are looking for and says to Rum, "Perfect! One distraction coming up." The fairy suddenly dives downward at astonishing speed a trail of blue light following in their wake as they zoom down. A pair of Hydra seem to be nesting and without any warning or sign the fairy dive bombs right into the middle of their nest. Manifests their set of giants arms again and grabs three large eggs from the Hydra nest. Each one held by a pair of the Astral projected arms.
Delphinium then flies off into the air with the eggs as prizes. If the Hydra noticed it's too late. They will have to make quite a scene and fight their way to the center. If they didn't delph shrugs and moves on. Either way, it seems the blue flash of light gave away the fairy and others location to a group of wyevens. Delph smiles seeing they can't catch up but they are keeping pace. Delph looks go their death hawk, Havok Dart and says "Okay, Havok Dart. You're the keeper of the eggs. Keep me safe for me and I'll get you extra meat to eat later." With that delph tries to tie the eggs securely with whatever straps or cables would normally be preserved for a person riding the death hawk.
Then it became clear the wyrvens were not going to give up as they continued to chase. Delph flutters over to Rum and says "Okay, so... rampaging Hydra plan didn't go exactly how I wanted but hey, I got 3 Hydra eggs now! So, do we beat up the chasing wyrevns? Yeah, that seems right.... okay. I'll play defense while yall attack from range or we charging into them?"
Delph has Havok Dart fly on ahead with the Hydra eggs. Focusing on keeping them safe.
Held action: charge and punch if wyrvens get close to allies somehow.
Darla, struggling to keep up with the larger and faster death hawks in now in a fowl mood and itching for a fight. "No worries me lovely," Slade whispers to her, "Ye'll get yer chance for a nip or two."
Slade the gives off a whispered incantation, his fingers splitting apart and pointing to 3 separate positions around him creating Mirror Images (spell) of Darla and himself circling their position to confuse the coming Wyverns.
Rum looks over to Delph’s Death Hawk as the fairy mentions hydra eggs to see the three now firmly strapped there.
“That will certainly cause a distraction on the ground, and if nothing else we won’t go short of food. I haven’t cooked a hydra egg omelette before, but there’s a first time for everything”, he says giving the fairy a wink.
“Those wyverns are of greater concern though, they look to be faster than the goose”, he adds as he twists in his harness to now see not one goose but four. “Yes, they need to be dealt with, and range isn’t my forte”.
“Let’s hunt wyvern”, he says to his Death Hawk. Suddenly, Keg alters his course, swooping up higher into the air and banking sharply until it is facing back towards the wyverns.
“Get me close, then drop out of reach, noble Keg. I am likely heading to the ground with that thing as well and I'll need you close by”, he instructs Keg as they close on the wyvern. Keg’s wings tuck closer into his body as he uses the greater altitude to speed through the air towards the lead wyvern. Before it makes contact, Keg’s wings fan out again and he passes just over his prey and banks around and drops. At that moment Rum jumps from Keg’s back, his arms holding his cloak spread apart as he tries to direct his landing onto the wyvern.
As he connects, his claws flick out and dig into the leathery wyvern hide, finding purchase.
“It’s getting dark, time to fall asleep”, he says to the dragon-kin as he crawls up the length of it’s body and aims a swift punch to the back of it’s head, followed by another and another. Each strike is laced with lightning energy that sparks along the wyverns head and neck as it connects. Rum also reaches out with his Ki, attempting to imbue each strike with a debilitating effect until he feels the wyvern go limp.
He remains on the wyvern as it begins to fall, his claws sunk into it's leathery hide maintaining his purchase. Looking across he sees Keg doing as instructed and also falling away from the other two wyverns.

Delph seeing their new friend charge into the wyrvens sighs and follows suit. They rush at another one to help out and hopefully scare these wyrvens off with a few Astral punches. With two stunned and knocked out of the combat maybe they will give up. The fairy flies up and swings two massive fists at the wyrven. As the first one connects Delph channels a bit of his power into the wyrven. This time hoping to stun the creature and make it think twice about fighting them. It'll also have the benefit of making them fall a bit before coming back to their senses taking ghem out of combat. If they are still really determined to fight not much else delph can do to save them and will ultimately have to allow their new friends to kill them in defense.
