"Maybe he should hitch a ride with me," she says thoughtfully. "That way he can quickly untie me if I need to get out and you guys are busy with something else or don't want to make it obvious that you're freeing a prisoner until it's too late for the bad guys to do anything."

"That is a good idea, Violet", Rum says in agreement that Greko should travel with her, as he binds up her hands trying to make it more for show than functional knots.
"Ok, Lady Kaede and I go in as bounty hunters, returning the instigator of the Newt rebellion for questioning. Spider Greko travels with Violet who plays the role of instigator, Jek uses stealth either on the ground or on Porkins. If we need names or pass phrases, we rely on Violet and Jek to either read minds or persuade them otherwise", he summarises.
He turns to Porkins, "Noble steed, if you are left alone, stay invisible and close and listen for the sound of my horn. If you hear it, come find me", he says in celestial.
Violet takes a moment to test her bonds gently, trying to determine how securely she is actually restrained and if there's a significant chance that that the knots will come loose by accident.
"Oh, so now I've been promoted to 'leader of the Newt Rebellion,' I'll have to remember that," Violet giggles.
She shrugs some hair off her shoulder to give friend Greko somewhere to perch as Spider Greko.
"Go ahead and hop up here, little friend," she tells him with a smile. "Just so you all know, I can speak to any of you telepathically, so I don't need to say anything to give you important information. But... I'll only be able to form a two-way telepathic bond with one of you. I guess that will probably be Rum since I think he's taking the lead on this expedition."

There is no gate to the Titan Forge like there had been with the guard posts along the route. As Lady Kaede and Rum lead Violet (and by default, Greko) into the Imperial compound, there is nothing to stop them. Well, aside from the multitudinous Stormtroopers that move about the entirety of the compound.
As they move down the road toward the Forge, a team of four Stormtroopers steps out from the first guard tower and moves toward the road, holding up a hand to stop their progress.
"Halt." One commands, apparently the leader, his voice deep and menacing from behind his helmet. He's tall, lithe but powerful looking, two two unhelmeted hobgoblins and an orc with a crossbow backing him up. "State your identification numbers and business."
Rum walks into the camp, trying to be nonchalant and appear for all the world as though he is simply meant to be there. As the four troopers approach the road, he halts his progress as they indicate, and looks upon each in turn. His eyes at the last rest upon the helmeted trooper whom he affords a slight incline of his head meant to show a modicum of respect.
"Do I look like I have an identification number? I am not used to having to explain myself to the likes of you, but as you ask, this one was involved in the attack on your northern outpost", he says motioning at Violet. "Now, I suggest you direct me to whoever is in charge of intelligence in this facility. And to whoever can provide remuneration".
Persuasion: 1+5=6 (Will use Draconic Presence to re-roll: 18+5=23)
When Rum is doing his convincing and points out the one involved in the attack, Lady Kaede will yank back on the rope tied to Violet to highlight the fact that they've captured her and she's quite the prize, worthy of an intelligence windfall for any senior officer they want to present her to.
Violet lets out a gasp as Lady Kaede unexpectedly yanks on her bonds. She glares at her 'captor,' mostly to help sell this whole ruse, but there is a little bit of genuine annoyance as well.
"You'll get nothing from me," she snaps, her lower lip trembling and the single eye in the middle of her face watering slightly. "You... you big nasty jerks!"

The Stormtrooper looks around to his companions and nods, then reaches one hand out to another of his cadre, who hands him a small tome. He begins to flip through it, and it becomes apparent pretty quickly that he is referencing a written logbook.
"I don't see anything on here about incoming patrols..." He says under his breath, then looks up toward one of the others before shrugging and handing off the tome. "Very well, take your prisoner to Cell Block AA-23. Go on then, move along. Move along."
He motions them into the compound without further word, though one of his cadre walks close to Violet and prods at her with the shaft end of a maul.
"What is that thing?" He says.
"Rebel scum." One of the other Stormtroopers answers, spitting in her direction...inside his helmet. "Ah shit..."
"Not surprised", Rum says to the trooper leader, "This insane newt rebellion might be pitiful, but it has certainly impacted some of our communications".
"Less of your lip", he snaps turning to Violet as he then follows the instruction to move along. He heads out into the camp, towards all the main buildings, assuming the prison block will be in one of them.
He keeps his eyes and ears open as they walk, hoping to get some snippets of information and potentially spot other prisoners being moved around.
"Well, we are in, fellow Remnants", he whispers to the others.
"So, um, how long do you think it will take them to start wondering why you two are escorting a weird alien prisoner on a tour of the base?" Violet asks in a whisper.
She will also look around for anything important as they walk (rolled a 10, passive 18)
"I am hoping that we will be overlooked until we try and access restricted areas", Rum replies quietly to Violet. "After all, who would be crazy enough to just wander around an enemy facility of this size in the depths of subternia?".
"Having said that, the trooper we questioned before we met you Violet, told us this compound is led by General Vurdrad, and that this area is patrolled by Inquisitors. I assume they will be less willing to simply accept our story. She also mentioned magical traps, so if anyone has means to see those that would be most welcome".
He then adds to his list of things to be aware of, anyone that might be an inquisitor so he can avoid them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Any idea what an Inquisitor looks like, other than looking inquisitorial? And normally, I’d be able to see invisible traps, but only with the use of my special helm, but I’m unable to do that now, with this joke of a stormtrooper armor on…” Lady Kaede’s voice drops off, with more than a hint of derision. “Let’s just move on with haste. Remember to act normal, like we’re meant to be here. It shan’t be much longer, Miss Violet.”
Most of the Stormtroopers the band encountered weren't even armed or armored. Almost all of them were toting tools. Digging implements. Smithing tools. Huge hammers. And almost all of them didn't even bother a glance at the parade of weirdness as it made its way further and further into the compound.
There was a moment where some of them paused and looked up for a moment after the rumble of distant thunder, but that was all. No one looked terribly impressed by the sound.
As they drew close to the building in the center of the huge chamber they could see that some sort of huge implement, probably twice as tall as any of them and three times as wide, sat on a platform with one end of the weird machine pointing down into a hole in the world where the glow of magma could be seen. Above the machine, mounted in the ceiling (ceiling?) of the building, is a huge metal die of some sort. Stormtroopers with leather aprons and many tools work inside, probably the weaponsmiths of the facility.
A look around the camp reveals a number of what are probably officers milling around, giving orders, checking progress. And while it seems they are relatively relaxed, there is also somehow a sense of urgency, like their focus is solely on the work here, and not about security.
Then the one of the smiths, nodding to one of the others, reaches up and begins to ring a large triangle bell hanging in the front of the building. As he does this, Stormtroopers around the encampment all begin to mutter and walk away from their appointed places of duty, moving back toward the barracks area in the rear of the compound in orderly fashion...
As they walk through the compound towards the large central building with the strange machine and the troopers with aprons and tools, Rum whispers to the others, "If the Blast Bellows is anywhere, it is in there fellow Remnants. We should try and get inside".
As he says this the bell rings out and the troopers start to head towards the barracks.
"This is our opportunity, either we go now, or we will be standing alone and too obvious, do we agree?", he quietly but urgently asks Lady Kaede and Violet.
Greko crouches behind a rock and watches the blue light.....
"Friend Greko, stay focussed. Are you going to join us as a spider, or join Jek as air support?", Rum asks.
Greko snaps to "Oh hmmm You will probably need Greko and Dwayne when things go south yes? SpiderGreko will follow"
Violet looks at Grekko.
"Maybe he should hitch a ride with me," she says thoughtfully. "That way he can quickly untie me if I need to get out and you guys are busy with something else or don't want to make it obvious that you're freeing a prisoner until it's too late for the bad guys to do anything."

Greko and all of his belongings vanish into the form of a spider. The spider climbs up on Violet and hides in plain site.
