Tyrros stays behind while the others go and try to find their friends. The hunt is a series of screams and yells from the draconians as it seems the whole population of gully dwarves rises to enjoy the hunt. 

It helps the heroes in a strange way and the ruined city is suddenly very much alive and very chaotic hiding them better than if they had tried to be stealthy. 

After an hour of searching a young dwarf with matted and tangled yellow hair and big round eyes spots Shan and Escarin but he stays his mouth open for a long time watching the minotaur. 

Then in a shrieking voice, he runs out of the library, screaming in dwarven "I won". 

Shan spell almost fizzles as she concentrates again trying to dispel the magic ward when the gully dwarv appears.

"Concentrate " she says to herself " The magic is an old and powerful spell casted by the most powerful wizard of all the times... Let's see if it's own staff can undone it... " she says to the others as she mutters the magic words.

"Buldi vetivich"

She says hoping that this time it works.

 As Shan casts the spell once more there is a loud popping sound and a spectral hand that lifts off the book and disappears like smoke in the wind. 

Inside the book is written in a strange cipher. It will take time to understand it but the way the pages and the writing seems to move you are pretty confident that there are spells of power written here.

“We got it... “ says Shan excited but tired for the great effort she did, smiling to Escarin “ We must now go and find the others... “ she says keeping the book in her special bags where she keeps her spellbook. As they wall out the hidden laboratory she feels something dropping from her nose. She cleans it and looks to his fingers, now red from the blood that came out her nose. 

“ I think I need a little rest “ she thinks to herself. 

“Good, can we get outa here now? We need to find the others. ” 

"Agreed, thanks for staying with us Xorn, and you Bryony but you are right we should find the others as quickly as possible - we have another even more urgent quest!"

Shan leaves the room leaning on her staff and follow the others visibly tired.

( OOC: Guess is that now when the gully dwarf found us ? )

Yep. 

You can either wait for someone to come and get you or try to follow the scared gully dwarf. 

“Should we try to find that little jumpy guy?”

"Staying here is asking to be caught," Bryony says.  "Whether we follow the little guy or not, we should get moving.  But, seeing as he's our only lead, we might as well give it a try?"

"I agree let's see where he takes us." Escarin still seems a bit distracted still by the magical items but appreciates that they need to move on.

The wizard will answer as many questions of the littlw dwarves as she can, specially from Bupu. She also studies the book they recovered from the hidden room. 

She doesn't talk too much to the rest of the party, except for Escarin, speaking of the books they found.

Then she definitely cast it as a ritual and dive into it.

 For her part, Bryony has taken advantage of the opportunity to rest to actually rest.  Captive of the draconians as she was, she'd had little opportunity to do so given the stress and imminent doom that could be upon her at any time.  Where others are interested, Bryony is more than happy to converse to learn a bit more about this group, how they all met, what kind of people they are.  For her part, she offers the following tidbits about herself:

• She's from a far off city called Nereka, evidently a new city built near the ruins of Narakid, which had been destroyed in the Cataclysm.
• Bryony grew up with a priest for a father and she'd come to serve the local army as a military Chaplin.  
• After some horrific battles, she felt inspired to go look for any signs of the old True Gods out there.  She's been traveling for a year now.

In the unlikely event the Gully Dwarves have anything resembling clean water (or even water that can be boiled over a pot in a fire, Bryony takes the opportunity to clean herself up.  And with little else to do, she asks the Gully Dwarves what they know of the Gods, what they've seen down here, how long the draconians have been here.
