Finn, seeing Bengo exit with the wolves, moves to try and join Tristan and Zaiden in the cave, assuming that with the wolves free and the guards they have already defeated, he should be safe to enter
Sig gives a resigned look to the fleeing goblin. No point in chasing him now, but he'll remember this if their paths cross again. At the end of the line, Sig readies his shield and unsheathes his sword, looking around for signs of gobling activity.
The five of you gather at the mouth of the cave. The inside of the cave is pitch black. Only Emrin has darkvision and can see inside the cave. (Emrin can read the Tristan spoilers in posts #129 & #131 to get a description of the cave, if you haven't already.)
Grabbing a small torch on his bag, Sig shows it while whispering "Should we use a torch? Can anyone hear or see anything?". Sig is out of his depth here, he's used to defending towns from orcs and goblins, but it's the very first time he's entering a greenskin lair.
Finn replies "That might be the best move. I've got a lantern on me I can light, but I'm not sure that level of light is the smartest idea at the moment"
"We could, but it'd alert the goblins to our presence. Bengo said they don't use light around here. Left is the captives," the disguised Tristan points in the general direction Bengo showed... she thinks. It's dark without any light. Curse her regular human eyes. "and their leader seems to reside on the opposite side of the camp, with whatever treasure he has. We'd just have to follow the stream if we wished to deal with him, but after we get the captives to safety."

"Light may be for the best... It may alert the goblins to trouble but without it we're likely to stab one another in the dark thinking we're the goblins," Zaiden suggests. "I think we rescue our employer first. How else we going to get paid? We can deal with the rest of this band of goblins after, perhaps... Depending how things go."
The five of you hear the constant burbling of the stream under your feet as you stand at the mouth of the cave in the darkness. You hear some goblin voices coming from... somewhere ahead of you. The sounds are bouncing around and it's hard to determine where sounds are really coming from. The ceiling here is high, you can feel the space--perhaps 20 or 30 feet high.
From what little light is entering the cave, you see that the stream is coming from straight ahead (North) and that there is a dry ledge on which one could walk to the side of it (to the East). Also to the east is what appears to be a step into another cavern.
Sig lights a torch.
You see the cave open up before you. Indeed, the cave ceiling is at least 20 feet up, and the passage you're in now is about 10 feet wide. Ahead of you somewhere deeper in the cave is the source of the stream. You see an opening ahead and to the left, and a old wooden bridge that appears to connect another cave opening 10 feet up from the stream level. Immediately to your right, you see steps up to an opening to another cavern. A scattering of chewed bones and animal refuse are in this other cavern, including some iron rods driven into the floor. You gather that this was where the wolves were kept. At the far end of this cavern, you see a pile of filth and garbage at the base of a fissure in the cavern wall.
"So? That filthy goblin grabbed his pets and bailed on us after all?"Sig whispers. "Should we go up the stream or into this cave?" He continues, his sword and shield, both still raised. "Maybe someone who can see in the dark can go up the river and check what else is there?"
“The Goblin lead us here. Didn’t alert the others. And took a potential threat away with him. What more did you want?” Zaiden asks. “A goodbye kiss? So long as our cart and horses are fine, the Goblin has been a huge boost…”
“Anyway, CAN any of us see in the dark? If not, we’ll just have to use torches and risk it… But yeah, caverns first to try and find our employer. Besides, best to not pass by anything that may sneak up on us later…”
If there is no objection, Zaiden starts hiding the party towards the closest cavern entrance…
"The appearance is just for looks. It doesn't give me their ability to see in the dark."Tristan shakes her head. "If it comes down to it, we could mention you're prisoners or new bandits. Think mentioning their boss might get them to back off?"
Tristan follows after Zaiden if they decide to head towards the closest cave entrance.

The five of you creep into the cavern to the east where Bengo released the wolves. Aside from the chewed bones, animal refuse, and pile of filth and garbage, you see that the fissure in the cavern wall is a sort of natural chimney that leads to an opening 30 feet above into another cavern. From below, it appears that the opening is large enough for a medium-sized creature to fit through. Now below the opening, you see a faint glow from the cavern above. Based on the changing brightness and hue, you gather it's probably from a campfire of sorts.
Sig watches the fissure with some doubts. "There's no way I'll be able to fit in there with my armor and not make a noise... maybe someone else should go and check on that fire above?"
Looking to the left, realizing that the rest of the cavern is pitch black, Sig thinks he will probably have to risk getting a torch to advance.
Zaiden will shrug and then attempt to climb through the fissure? Does it appear it’s used as a passage normally? Either way he does his beast to be stealthy about it…
"I wouldn't be all that stealthy either." Tristan raises an arm up and down, letting her armor make some noise. She decides to stick closer to the back for now, keeping an ear out incase anything happens to be coming by the tunnel.

(Sig lit a torch in post #148, else you wouldn't have seen as much as you have. Only Emrin has darkvision.)
Zaiden, it looks climbable to you, though it doesn't appear to be for that purpose. As you grab hold of a jutting rock in the fissure, another wave of stench from the refuse heap hits your nose. You see trails of what might be bodily fluids down the fissure? Or is it rotting food?

“Well, we could just go back and keep the stuff on the carts for ourselves…” Zairean says with a shrug, not even sure if he is joking or not…
