I didn't realize staying at the Quiver was an option. I thought it was just an upscale tavern, not a tavern and inn. Regardless, Liam himself wouldn't feel comfortable staying in a place as upscale as the Quiver, so he at least would have stayed at a different location. -5sp noted.
"Hey, Chubbs, I don't think that Lizardman likes us. Considering how many times we had to save his life last adventure..." Crispy snickers as she leans over to the dwarf as they stumble on board. "Must be our breath, eh? HAHA!"
Gregor was the first one at the docks, nobody but him knowing how long he's been standing there, but when his teammates approached he had a large smile and twinkling eyes to great them all. He stayed mostly quiet for the Elf man's introduction, but came aboard with his usual bounce and swagger, looking around the deck with a look that almost screamed 'I want one of these'.
When Liam spoke his comment Gregor laughed alongside his companions and wheezed "Little man can bunk if he no mind big snores, yes?" His (apparently) 'funny' joke set off another round of laughter for himself, and he turned to the party's benefactor elf.
"How long does voyage be taking? Can Gregor and friends train on deck if taking long?"
Liam freezes for just a moment at the mention of "Lizardman," but otherwise doesn't react before continuing on to look around the ship. He keeps an eye on Nia, hopeful that she won't get TOO enthusiastic about looking over the side of the ship at the retreating ground below.
"I'll spar with you, my part-orc friend! I'll try and go easy on your this time, ok?" Crispy perks up, waving vaguely in Gregor's direction. "Don't worry, Chubbies, i'll save some for you, too. But don't break my arm this time."
As the group fans out around the boat, they notice that Chubby is already sound asleep, snoring quite loudly, nestled underneath the aft starboard stairwell.
”The Golden Lining is strictly for transportation.” Ruven responds to Gregor’s inquiry. “I have already had to train my Dwarven staff to limit their physical interactions to arm wrestling only. It would be appreciated if you... Did not encourage them with anything more than that.” He offers a slow, deliberate nod of his head. “The trip is usually three days, depending on the weather.”
Room 4 is Ruven’s private quarters, room 3 are toilets and amenities, you all may choose from rooms 5,6,9 and 10 as sleeping quarters. Room 7 is a small kitchen and room 8 are supplies. Area. 6 is a large common area for guests. (And yes, it includes a mini bar ;) )
Ah, I forgot you specified the forecastle was the location of the toilets and amenities. In that case, Liam would prefer Room #10 if Nia is willing to room with him, otherwise he'd prefer room #9 to himself.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Whenever Chubby wakes up, he’ll make his way down to room #5 and claim a bed by placing his pack and equipment on it. He’ll then make his way to the galley for a bite to eat. He’ll strike up a conversation with one of the dwarven staff, speaking in dwarven. He’d make the conversation light, but he’s really looking for intelligence on the island they’re traveling towards. Any info on any locals who may reside there? And scary monsters (or rumors therein)?

Crispy tosses her things on the floor of any empty room not taken. If all the rooms are taken, she'll sleep in a chair in Chubby's room. She won't mind the snoring. She will then look around and see if there's anything "out of the ordinary" on the ship, casually glancing around and exploring slowly around the ship - taking note of anything that MIGHT not be in place, or unusual - eventually meeting up with Chubby and the dwarves and pretending to listen in and smiles while they all talk.
Nia let Liam arrange the living arrangements, she was far more interested in looking around, particularly at the controls for the cannons and shields. It doesn't take too much effort to shoo her away but she walks to their room with a disturbing smile as she looks around the ship.
Gregor takes whichever bed is still open, and carries an armful of recently acquired books about business management, diversifying your portfolio, and other economically inclined subjects, and a banged up lute that looks like it was scavenged from a trash heap to the commons area, where he will switch off between practicing the two unless something interesting happens.
Chubby and Crispy investigation: Most of the workers are quite happy to see a fellow Dwarf upon the ship. Chubby makes some brief conversation (which Crispy eavesdropps into) with one jolly worker named Thorbore. "Well, we've only been once ourselves, an' that was the initial trip! We dropped a bunch of stonemason Dwarves and Humans there, who had stone arriving on ship apparently... We stopped for about eh 5-day to help 'em set up before coming back to pick you lot up- but we found there was plenty of small game and exotic fruits! One night however.. we did hear a very angry roar come from somewhere in the jungle... But it sounded pretty far off, eh!"
You hear a large crashing sound and a solid THUD. You catch a glimpse of a smaller dwarf going sliding across the floor, shortly being pursued by the large dwarf wearing the red bandanna. He looks furious, and intent on shoving around others, but stops when he looks at you. He slowly walks towards the door with a scoul on his face and slams it shut.
After a cursory exploration of the vessel's main and lower decks, Liam deposits his things on one of the two bunks in the aftmost room of the middle deck (#10). He then tracks down Nia once again to show her to their room as well, before taking his two spellbooks to the table in area #6 to work on some more transcribing.
As he's getting his supplies situated on the table, and after taking note of some of the titles of Gregor's books, he'll briefly turn his attention back to Nia.
"Okay, you're free to wander about the ship for a bit if you want, just try not to get in the way of the crew. And if you want to hang out and look over the sides of the main deck, PLEASE tie yourself off to a lifeline first."
Then, his sense of responsibility sated at least for the moment, he'll sit down and continue his transcribing.

"Oh. He's already alseep!" Crispy notices. She pats her friend as he snores.

Waiting for Rivina's input so I know what room Liam is in before I continue, but it'll be tomorrow morning (CST) before I can post again, due to work.

"Hey." Crispy's eyebrows bounce up and down as she smiles at Nia. "How's it goin'?"
"Hi there!" Nia replied overly chirpily. "Is this going to be great or super great?!"
