It's not that Kroshav is taking Clad's proximity for granted exactly, but he has come to expect and rely on the fellow being close at hand, and ready to pitch in with whatever is needed.

((Not going to have Jaq roll stealth, he's got plenty of time to hide well.))

About two hours after Thir has left, an hour or so after noon, both Ernos and Jaq spot a figure moving furtively towards the tomb's location. After and ten minutes of start and stop motion a bugbear that Jaq vaguely recognizes as one of the scouts that started with them is standing at the tomb.

He looks up at the hole in the side of the mountain skeptically but starts to creep ahead calling quietly and questioningly,

"Jek? Jek?"

 ---

Inside the tomb things are moving at a good clip, Mikram not having let anyone take a break. He works in stony silence, only interrupting the grinding of the claws to shout orders.

"Left. No yer OTHER left."

Jaq, unhides by popping out of the snowbank and waves the bugbear over to him.   "Yes, you found us.  Have them rest follow you here."

The bugbear startles and reaches for his bow before recognizing Jaq.

He nods waves back and says,

"Jek -"

Followed by something incomprehensible.

He then turns the direction he came from and hurries away.

A half hour later a much less furtive pack of forty or fifty come into view, heading straight at the tomb. They are proceeded by the same male scout who waves them towards Jaq and says to Jaq,

"Jek -"

Followed again by something incomprehensible to Ernos or Jaq, before he hustles away.

The small mob, Jaq notices not the first group that set out, arrives and quickly surrounds Jaq - all speaking in goblin. After about a minute a goblin shoves her way up to Jaq and says,

"Jek of Thir? I San. I speak help Jek. What Jek want San to say?"

((Ernos helping anyhow?))

The bugbears aren't Ernos' problem.  His job is to watch for danger.

Jaq nods and thinks for a bit before speaking to San. “Did you have any trouble on your way here?”     He will then ask them to wait a bit and he will go dine Kroshav, “You have some room in the new den already for some of the hobgoblins that just arrived?”

Most of the bugbears ignore Ernos, except for a group of younger looking bugbears, hobgoblin and a pair of goblins. These approach Ernos, the hob with a bit of swagger and says something that sounds, despite the language barrier, teenagery. The rest of group snicker.

San shakes her head,

"No trouble. Old and young slow, hard way."

Just poking his head in, Jaq would see there is space for the arrivals. It is a bit dusty though.

"Sure! They able to work? Clad, can you show em what needs doing?"

Despite San's attempts to the keep the mob in place, a half dozen bugbear follow Jaq into the tomb. Most begin coughing and, based on the tone, complaining. The names Jek and Thir come up a few times. One bugbear, not happy to just complain, does move along the walls and inspect, and taste, the water flowing in the channel.

San remains outside with the obedient mob members.

Ernos looks at the hob, rather unimpressed, then turns his attention back to the surroundings, saying in infernal, "The young ones always cause trouble they can't handle."

Ernos' talking in an even weirder way than common causes another round of snorting and chuckling. The hob glances at his companions, gathering teenagery strength, and says something else that must be absolutely comedy gold based on the laughing it causes.

Ernos finds his stoic watching harder to focus on, annoyingly. One would have thought a hike would have burned these kids' energy, but seemingly not enough.

Clamor's work has been supplemental to Kroshav (moving and clearing to make sure that work can progress AND not accidentally sealing anyone off), so Clad did his best to communicate with gestures and action.  Now moving rocks is pretty straightforward, but it is yet to be seen if "many hand make work light" is going to turn into "many hands quickly seal everyone in a tomb.

Cladmir did notice the the newcomers seem to have good sense not to create blockages... almost like they are familiar with life in a place like this.

Once the half dozen get that Cladmir wants them to help, all but one start following his lead.

The other one just heads back out with Jaq and waves everyone in. There is some conversation as possible enter and the tomb is very quickly swarmed with 'helping' hands. Four look to be trying to direct Kroshav on how to best claw, a couple dozen are working on setting up what looks to be a camp and the rest help to haul things.

Mikram yells at the extra advisors to leave, which they don't.

San gives Jaq an apologetic look and runs around shouting at people.

Outside, the teens maintain their vigilant watching...of Ernos. Not getting the response he wanted, apparently, the hob moves off a bit before starting to lob snowballs at the tiefling. He doesn't seem to be aiming much, but they are getting close.

This is met with more uncomfortable chuckles and a few of his crew slip away to join the mayhem inside the tomb.

Ernos flicks one finger at the hob, a bolt of fire pelting the ground about halfway between them.

The chuckles stop immediately after the firebolt hits the snow.

There is some quiet conversation behind the hob, who stands stuck between teenage pride and common sense. One of the group behind him says something that tips the scales and he backs away, saying something that he probably thinks is going to cut Ernos down and help him save face.

((Now that crisis is over, anything before the next group arrives?))

If Cladmir somehow heard of the commotion of the youth with Ernos he would try to see if he can channel that young and pent-up energy to help with the current building/clean up efforts.

Nothing special from Ernos.

((Cladmir was inside the tomb and wouldn't have seen anything that transpired, but would notice a group of late arrivers that only tend to get in people's way and get chewed out frequently. To their amusement. They wouldn't offer to help or be of much help when put to it.))

No much more than and hour after the first party arrived a much longer train of approaching figures becomes apparent to Ernos. He wouldn't guess their are more people in this party, just that they are more spread out.

A harried looking scout arrives well in advance of (most) of the approaching figures and, spotting Ernos, stops and says hesitantly,

"Jek?"

A hobgoblin woman charges up along side the scout, baby strapped to her back, toddler to her front and sword to her hip, shoves the scout aside, and says to Ernos,

"Idiots. Where is the pointy eared ----? Why is the worthless ----- San not here?"

She glares at Ernos, hand on her sword. The toddler strapped to her chest gives Ernos an equally angry glare.

The scout looks back at the rest of the group and bares his teeth and squints his eye at Ernos in something like an apologetic smile before leaving the tiefling to handle the situation.

Ernos gestures toward the entrance, not minding the angry glare from the mother, "Jaq's inside.  Others too.  Hurry, big group's easy to see."

The hob stares challengingly at Ernos and says,

"I will wait here and direct them in."

The long train of individuals slowly arrives and is directed into the tomb/village. With only the last stragglers left the hob gives Ernos a parting mistrustful glare before heading in herself.
