"My bag is pretty bare at the moment," replied Cladmir as he accepted the items, not really thinking of any potential consequences in his fugue-like state. All he really thought about was that once he pocketed these whatever he may finally be able to lay on that fine fine fine bed over there.
Suddenly he thought he heard something about "another room" and again his primal self wanted to groan out loud, but as always his practical self crushed that urge with ruthless efficiency. He knew his is weak and he knew everyone knew he was weak. People had been left behind for far less and he had no intention of joining their forgotten ranks, so he took in a deep breath and steel himself for whatever the task. True, the pull of the bed was overwhelmingly strong and there's no doubt he will need to rest on it or somewhere eventually, but his will to survive was stronger.

Jaq takes a quick glance back at Joe, and seeing her issue with the room of spiders knew he wasn't going to get any useful help with this door, so he starts to check it out himself.
Find traps 9
Pick locks 12
Not being able to NOT notice how exhausted the new guy looked, he pats him on the shoulder, "As soon as we are done with this next room, we'll go somewhere safe that you can sleep."
Ja qlooks for a magical symbol like the last couple doors had and finds this one clear. He glances at the lock as well before getting to work. It's a bit trickier than the last but he still makes short work of it, hearing a statisfying 'thunk' from the lock which is accompanied by a concerning 'shick' sound. The 'shick' is accompanied by a painful sting in his finger that quickly spreads up the arm.
Needle trap: 1 damage + 5 poison
((Con save of 14 for half poison damage!))
The door swings open and reveals a room with two basic, far from glorious beds, a weapons rack and a few sets of armor. Jaq's rapier is on the rack along with other more exotic weapons and Lurn and Kroshav's armor are on the floor in a pile with several other mismatched armors, mostly leather but a breastplate is visible along with some ring, scale and a splint, by one the beds.
((Okay, so everyone should get their non-magical weapons and armor back here.))
Cladmir saw the door open and Jaq jerking a bit like he was stung. Satisfied that Jaq seemed no worse for wear he entered into the room and saw the arrays of weapons and armors. Ignoring the exotic looking gears he went straight to the racks of normal gears he's familiar with. After looking around he grabbed a set of studded leather armor and a plain rapier. Interestingly enough he did not see any bows or arrows or shields, but at least he still had the hand crossbow and poison darts that were given to him earlier.
((I've come to a thought. It's probably been no more than an hour, maybe two, since we all took a Long Rest, so we'd have to wait it out before taking another. But Cladmir hasn't taken one recently. He can settle down to rest properly while the rest of us stay on guard, prepared to launch an ambush if needed. That way we're not wasting an entire day, just spending a third of one on getting Cladmir functional. The rest of us can fit in a short rest to recover missing HP, too.))

(( I would advocate for my guy taking a long rest if possible so he won't be such in danger of immediate knockout in a fight at level 3, plus the next time everyone has a long rest he can then go down to level 2 and actually be more useful in a fight. ))
((That exhaustion level is a REAL nasty hit for a fighter, yeah. It may be a big delay, relatively, but getting Cladmir in good condition will be far more worth it.))

7 Con check
After the initial pain from the poison, does he think the problem is over, or is it going to be ongoing pain and damage from the poison?
Jaq is also thrilled to find his own rapier again, "Well, this was worth the pain of getting in here, I guess."
If there are no spiders in the room he says, "Joe, can you run through the room with spiders and come here? No spiders in here, and I could use you assistance with looking for traps again?"
If she will assist, I then try to open more locks. (Jaq is getting more practice with this in three rooms that he did in the whole rest of the campaign!)
((Well, for most of this you all should have been poisoned but I forgot about that so let's say you all felt better during your initial checks. That said, Jaq is now poisoned again for an hour!))
Jaw and Joe start again on the new set of chests, unfortunately Jaq's are is still stinging and distracting him while Joe keeps looking over her shoulder for the spider's. This leads both to miss both the traps resulting in two new pricks of tiny needles. These don't seem nearly as potent as the one on the door but Jaq feeling like his hand, arm and most of his face is numb.
Damage: 2+2 + 3
(Two con saves, 12 to pass and half damage 7 or lower, nap time.)
The worst part is that the last chest doesn't even open.
The one that does open contains Joe and Lurn's coin purses along with another large purse containing 17 pp, 72 gp, 45 sp, 130 cp along with 2 small (10 gp) gems.
There are some clothes and a couple of training manuals as well as Lurn's cheating dice.
((Kroshav had cleared folk of poison at one point, but not sure if someone was missed.))
If Jaq's slurred speech makes it out, Kroshav will look around for a chest bashing weapon. He'll leave Joe on watch and change into his own armor, sighing in relief as he's no longer being squeezed.
"Still no sign of my hammer, eh? Smashing chests would be a good job for it, I don't want to use Sword on something so lowly."

((Ah, maybe that was why I had removed the poison listing from my notes. Or maybe I just never had it there in the first place... Hard to say.
@Row, since Jaq only managed to get to the first chest, and we'll say for expediency got it open, he'll only take 3 total damage.))
Jaq's final plee for destructive revenge more or less makes it across. Kroshav gets that he needs to smash something at least, and the chest is the best target.
Kroshav looks around the room full of gear, and the drooling elf slumped over a chest, but doesn't find his hammer. There are several other, inferior warhammers that would do the job. He figures, if he must settle.
Sword is pleased by Kroshav's consideration and sends happy thoughts his way.
Mikram asks and then suggests irritatedly in dwarven,
"Again with the napping? What is wrong with ye all? Give him a kick, that'll get him up."
((Go ahead and roll an attack and damage for killing the chest.))
(There is one more room? Lets check it quickly.)
