Lurn does his best to shut the door as requested, then examines the undamaged spot, muttering "Maybe whatever set off the blast was placed there?" The large man casts Guidance on himself, then sets to properly looking at it.
Investigation, would it be? Well, I'll roll, but don't expect much from it. XD Investigation + Guidance: 15 + 2

Lurn leans in to look at the undamaged spot and can't really tell what is going on, it looks just as damaged as everywhere else. From his shoulder Mikram exhales through his noise and points to the spot.
"Not there, there."
Shifting his inspection two hand lengths down Lurn finds the spot Cladmir indicated and confirms that is in fact undamaged. It could like he guessed or could be that there was something covering that spot that got blown off or it could be that the wood was just harder there or could be something else entirely.
Ok disregard these great rolls, I did that WRONG. I thought I had to put in TWO dice for the advantage, and I don't the roller takes care of that. I'll do another post.
Jaq and Joe together work on the remaining chest. Jaq is able to scan the box and doesn't find anything dangerous before with the speed and skill of a god demi-god unlock the simple lock. The chest opens and inside he finds, similiar to the last chest mostly clothes, a few letters and a bag of coins containing 71 gold, 19 silver and 47 copper coins. He further finds a medallion with an odd star on it and a gold and silver ring with crest on it.
Nothing else stands out in the room.
((Religion checks from everyone that sees the medallion and an exceedingly difficult history/knowledge check on the ring.
Where to now? Two rooms left with locked doors or upstairs?))
Everyone sees the items in the chest, as Jaq will hold each item of interest up for inspection of them all. He hands all the letters to Joe and he tosses the clothes on the floor next to the chest. He tosses the coin purse to Kroshav, the Medallion to Lurn and after showing the ring to the others, he slips it onto his left hand.
(( Note: I had to edit/reroll because the first time it stated that the religion roll was "unable to parse" -- in hindsight I should have just made another post because it also rerolled the history as well. ))

Joe stuffs letters into a bag to look at later. When she sees Jaq put on the ring she sighs with annoyance. “Why are ye puttin’ on a ring from who know where, not knowin’ wha it may do o if it be curs’d?”
Seeing that the group is wrapping up, Lurn points out the undamaged spot on the door to the rest, "This is odd, for it to not be damaged, but we shouldn't take too long. The longer we take, the more odds we open this door and find all the drow waiting outside."

The ring fits well on Jaq's finger and it like a ring should, a bit cool though it warms quickly enough.
Cladmir sees the symbol on the medallion and feels even weaker in the knees as he remembers the woman that had been wearing it while he was being burned and questioned and then when she had come to select which of his companions would leave and never return. Lolth, she'd said the name and whispered about their goddess of spiders as they cut his friends down, seeming to take pleasure in speaking in common so she could be understood by her victims. Cladmir is so focused on the medallion he can't give the ring more than a glance.
Joe sees the medallion and remembers from a list demonic symbology that it is used by Lolth, which makes sense since the drow worship her. The ring she remembers from another old book as belonging to one of the drow houses. One of the big ones...What was the name again? Bilic? Crarno? One of the ones with all the z's in it? Drow have a lot of z names. She doesn't pick up anything magical about either of them.
Lurn gets the same impressions as Kroshav, not a pleasant symbol and who knows. With Lurn's help to lift her up to inspect the spot she confirms Lurn's original guess that this was almost certainly where a spell ward had been placed and the sound explosion had emanated from.
Joe pockets a bottle and a half of ink (15 gp worth).
((Given Joe's love for spiders I would say that would have probably stuck with her about Lolth, yes. A 15 gets Joe all the horrible spider details about Lolth she can handle!))
(Ah presigitation, the wd 40 of magic
((WD-40, shampoo, soap, conditioner, sparkler and toilet paper combo!))

Kroshav hasn't seen the symbol on the medallion before but something about it's pointiness is off-putting.
The ring looks like a bird scratched it's top rather than having any meaning to Kroshav's eye. Solid looking ring though.
Cladmir attempted to scrutinize the objects through his foggy head:
Religion on medallion: 17
History on ring: 9

((Okay, where to now?))
Joe pales a bit after seeing the symbol, “T-that symbol be f-fer Lloth, t-tha spid’r.
Ths ring is from some drow big shot.”
Joe will quickly grab all the loose ink she can find, hoping it’ll be enough to allow her to copy a spell or two.
(I think the next room over? How much ink was there? Also I am guessing Joe knows about Lloth being a spider goddess
"Are we here too long, or are we just gonna keep going through these locked doors and hope they don't regroup too fast?"
Jaq nods at Joe's response, but waits to hear the other's responses before checking out the next door.

"If we keep blowing ourselves up with doors, we won't need to wait for them to come finish us off... how's everyone doing?", Kroshav asks.
