Stun agrees with Maverick and tells him to lead the way while escorting the family...
Maverick takes them on a safe path that still allows them to see some cool sights and amazing animals from a safe diastance
Stun apperciates Mavericks for showing the group these sights and animals, especially making the children of the family happy.
Eskee hears Maverick give his scouting report and looks confused, but doesn’t argue. As they continue to walk Eskee says to Maverick, “you’re decision back there was very confusing to me. I am ssssurprised that a Druid would be so dismissive of a guardian of the forest being in danger like that. Seems I still have a lot to learn.” Eskee shrugs and walks on.
As the group continues there journey, Stun sees a small groups of houses in the distance.
"Is that the village you were talking about?" Stun ask the father...
OOC: Very tempted to call him fatherling

"Yes, that's the village," the father replies.
Soon, you realize you are on a path which quickly becomes a road which leads to the heart of the village. A small, one-story inn and common house sit just off the road. Nearby is a temple and several more homes. The father halfling leads you to the common house. "If any of the council are about," he says, "they should be in here. Watch your head. Things around here are made for us, not humans."

Stun nods his head to the father...
"Will you be joining us? i think the console would like to hear your personal story good sir. It will aid us in our mission to stop these attacks." Stun says to the father...
Stun gets into all fours, then moves in a circle to mimic a wolf.
He then notices he able to maneuver through the door...
Eskee ducks his head down low to avoid hitting it on anything. Once inside he says to Stun, “motion to me when we’re meeting with the council.” He keeps an eye on Stun for a signal, but in the mean time starts to mingle with the people inside. He makes small talk, but ultimately is trying to gather any information he can on the goblin attacks, where they have been coming from and retreating to, and if anyone has seen them set up camp.
Shocked at first by Stun's odd behavior, the father halfling remembers how Stun changed into a wolf-like creature while fighting the goblins. He replies, "Yes, I will be giving a full statement to the council."
Eskee, give me an investigation check.

OOC: Well… that sucks. Not going to lie, when I started down this path I was really crossing my fingers for charisma based check. Lol
Feeling a little uncomfortable around authority, but yet wondering what is going on Maverick walks in and looks around. He sees Stun and Eskee talking to different people. Maverick walks up to Eskee and says
”Hey man did you guys find out anything helpful, or do I need to talk to people, you know sense I’m soooo subtle and careful with my words. “ He just smiles and bumps Eskee on the shoulder hoping he gets Mavericks sarcasm.
As Stun is walking around in the talking to different individuals and seem to be going nowhere with those conversations, He then suspects that a talking, near naked wolf talking to random scared individuals is not ideal. So then finds the where people are getting food and decides to ask the cook about the consoles whereabouts.
"Hello there, sir" Stun ask a person catering the food, "do you know where i can find the console members? I have an important message to send them."
Ooc: hey guys. I just got Covid for the first time, and am really run down. I’ll keep up with the adventure, but may not post much as I focus on recovering.
