Bones looks around for frozen bodies, or stashes of loot from artifact hunting or theft. Any indication of the presence of the illness or whatever is spreading it. As he does, he calls to the others. "Give me a hand, let's figure out if these knuckleheads were exposed."

Petros, for a moment you see a couple more giant frogs swimming in the murky water, but they quickly take the bat and dive back to the depths, apparently not interested in you at this time.
Doc, you do a pretty good search of the immediate area but there isn't much here, looks like it was just a place to keep the giant frogs.
However, as you move past the pools and go east just a bit, you see ten empty bedrolls are arranged in a circle around a cold fire pit at the center of this cavern. Chicken bones, empty wine and spirits bottles, and other food waste litters the floor.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gellwin is fascinated at the symbiotic relationship the bandits seem to have forged with the ice frogs, breaking out of his reverie he trots after Cade.
Bones sighs. "Didn't the other bandits say that there were sick people here already? Where are they... or their bodies?" His eyes wander to the pool of water. Then he looks around to see if there are any other chambers unexplored.
It does seem rather strange that there are all the bedrolls perhaps but so few bandits. As you look around the cavern though back to the north it splits into two tunnels: one slightly to the left that seems to curve back towards the entrance perhaps, and one to the right that has another pool of water just a little ways further in.
Water dripping down from stalactites in the ceiling fills a dark pool that completely covers the floor of this cavern. There does not appear to be any immediate means of crossing the pool easily.
( Can we see the other side of the pool? If so, and its less than 60 ft, Gellwin will Create Bonfire on the far shore to light up the place.)
The pool is about 30ft across from edge to edge. The cavern makes a short bend to the left after the pool, but in the darkness you can see a faint flicker of light coming from deeper within the cavern. (you're still welcome to cast bonfire)
As you begin to stare into the clouded waters, it begins to shift and wave, bubble over as an enormous frog, much bigger than the ones you previously saw, rises from the depths! However, he floats in the water at the edge by you and watches you, expectantly.
Cade stetches out his arms to lightly push his companions back from the pool while talking to the frog in what he believes is a calming voice. “Ho. Easy there big fellow.”
Then he turns to Gellwin. “help me bring ‘em rats from the barrel, will ya?”
Cade doesn’t like rats. He steps back and sheathes his sword.

“Them’s just frog food.” Cade shrugs. “Let’s see if we can find Hulil!" He lifts his torch and moves on deeper into the cave.
(Cade walk to the right on the map, to where the camp is indicated.)

Oh booo!
Looks like a bandit camp sleeping area!

(Since I’m going on a vacation, I’ll not be able to post much next week.)
Cade walks around the camp and tentatively turns over a few items with his boots. But he doesn’t start an in-depth search of the items.
He turns to his companions. “Nobody ain’t in. Shall we ‘oller?”
Bones sighs. "Didn't the other bandits say that there were sick people here already? Where are they... or their bodies?" His eyes wander to the pool of water. Then he looks around to see if there are any other chambers unexplored.

“I doubt we have any reason to return to the entrance, let’s go right.”
Cade lifts his torch and moves carefully into the right tunnel.

Gellwin raises his hands and a fire springs into existence on the far shore.
He examines the water for any reaction, " Got anymore of those bats?"
