Arriving at the bridge you see A 70-foot-long, 10-foot-wide sloped bridge used to connect the village bailey to the motte. However, a falling rock struck the bridge and destroyed a 15-foot-long section of it, cutting off Nandar Keep from the village.
A creature with a Strength score of 15 or higher can leap across the broken section of the bridge if it moves at least 10 feet before the jump. The jump is made more difficult by the fact that the bridge is sloped:
A creature jumping from the lower part of the bridge to the higher part must succeed on a DC 10 Strength (Athletics) check to land on its feet.
The guard seeing the gap gulps and offers tp keep eatch sp you have a clear trail you come back to.
(I apologixe for both the late and somewhat lazy reply. Long day and posting from the cell phone)
Calanon sighed yet again as it seemed that everything was against them that day, wishing he could simp,y go back to bed. He quickly shook such thoughts away as he had a job to do before he could waste time resting. For now they would need to get across the bridge in order to gain access to the keep.
Wilword walks up to Taliesin and takes the end of the rope off him. "Give me a lot of slack I will get to the other side for us."
Taking the opportunity while everyone else was getting ready to take the leap, Wilword gives himself a 10ft run-up and leaps off the edge of the bridge. With orb in hand and an unusual calm, he waits till he is within 10ft of the other side and readies the spell Feather fall. Before he casts it on himself the orb glows and elemental winds appear around him carrying him the 10 feet to the other side of the gap and spell allows him to gently land on the bridge.
Stepping onto the other side without a sound he lets go of the held breath and is glad that his calculations of the distance were correct. Making room for others that want to give the jump a go he starts to look for a place to tie the rope off to.
I'll stick in the middle back-ish of the group.
I’ll atay in the middle
Marvarax and Sora (Dragonborn) The retired fighter and WIP scholar - Glory
Brythel(Dwarf), The dwarf with a gun - survival at sea
Jaylin(Human), Paladin of Lathander's Ancient ways - The Seven Saints (Azura Claw)
Urselles(Goblin), Cleric of Eldath- The Wizard's challenge
Viclas Tyrin(Half Elf), Student of the Elven arts- Indrafatmoko's Defiance in Phlan
(Calanon is up with Tomoe and Beamer. Near to J15 as possible.)
Wilword would have fallen back into the middle again once everyone started moving again.

Welp, any ideas? We could try to fashion a grappling hook out of rope and something else and climb our way over...

Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 6 (2W-1L)- - Coliseum Reborn : Master of a Myriad of forms.
Runt, the Stormchosen: Half-Orc barbarian level 5 -- The Guild

Hey Tomoe, do you want to take this piece of rope and tie it over there after you jump so that we can scuttle across?

Jason to Guard "So you want to be here alone when giants come back? I think you should use the rope and fallow us"
