Calanon let them all discuss what they wished to do, his own thoughts on how he would explain this to his superiors when he returned to Luskan. For now he would have to wait and see what else would happen in the small village.
"Vengence against what? This isn't our town. The Giants came here to steal the nightstone that is all, they are just thieves. Thieves can just take what they want and not care what happens to the victims. WE just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."
All this talk of attacking Giants and getting even was too much for Wilword to handle. After his outburst, he makes his way to another room to look for materials to get them across the gap in the bridge.
Throughout your searching you do find a suitable item to bridge the gap. The partially destroyed oak table is easily 20 ft long and thick enough to support the weight of people walking across it.

As the thought of saving her by your divine touch crosses your mind you remember you can only heal the injured, not bring back the dead. The best you can offer her is a prayer.
To the group as a whole
The female guard speaks once again answering the barrage of questions "For now it is paramount to get the townsfolk back and to clear out and re-build. Once we've started repairs and gotten stock of how much damage was done and what lives were unfortunately lost. Then we will send a caravan to Waterdeep letting the Nandar's know what's befallen both our town, and the Lady." She takes a step forward, looking as if this semblance of a plan has renewed at least a portion of her resolve "I am no one of authority, but I promise you this adventurers. Help us to at least get everyone safely within Nightstone and you will be rewarded. We are an honorable people and do not let favors go unpaid."

Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
Calanon saw little choice as he needed to have something to at least cover the expenses of his trip back. While he had gotten part of the way to the twon through the help of a wizard the first time around he doubted he would be so lucky this time. "I will help however I can. Although the skills I have been trained to deal with fighting and if needed scouting ahead."
I'm not sure about the rest of my compatriots but I'd me more than happy to help your townsfolk. Afterwards I'm sure we could work out an arrangement and help escort the caravan if you wish.
Beamer is still wondering who is in charge but puts off his worries to help with the current situation. He works to help Wilford with the broken table so they will be able to cross the moat without needing to crawl on the rope this time. He speaks to the female guard, "Do you know of any other deaths inside the keep? We can gather the bodies of your valiant men who died guarding the keep along with the body of the honorable Lady Nander to the town center and once the townfolk are back, have a proper burial."
Real quick, if lady Nandar was dead then who was that person I saw? Not that they were both the same people or anything. Do you guys recognize this woman?
Taliesin will cast minor illusion to make a perfect picture replica of the woman he saw.
And her voice sounded like this (Taliesin will use minor illusion to make a message that is an exact copy of the woman's voice and message when she spoke)
Ill say again, we need to get everyone here to a safe place. A fight is not safe. We can grieve and rebuild and have our vengeance later.

Jason turns to the group: "It looks that Gods decided about Lady Nandar fate. Unfortunately my fate is yet not proven enough to change it"
After short pause
"Do you think that town is safe now?"
It's probably safe now, I could head out and ask the guards we left behind if you want...
I try to speak with some authority Sounds good. If everyone is ready, then let us secure our exit route and return to the caves.
