Miesha moves about the room and lays a hand upon the shoulder of each of those who fought alongside her and gives them a word of praise and encouragement. As she does Aaslan, Jasper, Maggwyn and Kass each receive 5 points of healing from the Lay on Hands...
"We survived, barely, and won the day..." Miesha says, a bit ashamed that she had fallen during the battle. "We did good and if we fight as a unit again we will do better. A fighting unit needs familiarity with one another, confidence in one another. Still and all, nothing beats success, yes?"
Miesha also searches amongst the dead for any weapons or items (or even gold) they carried that could be worth anything. In particular she is looking for the flail the head gnoll used. That was some terrible weapon, she would like to know where it got to.
Looking to Osborn she would ask if there was any need to go after the large hyenas. "Are they a threat or likely to just run off to the wild?"
To the room in general she'll eventually ask "Do we have any purpose left here or should we go confirm the family made it back to town?"
Jasper is quick to chase after the fleeing gnolls but stops at the bottom of the stairs when he realizes he is the only one pursuing. His expressions changes from instinctive excitement for the hunt to one of disappointment. He slumps like a pouting child for a moment but then sees just how dirty he is from the pursuit into the bloody ritual and hastily begins cleaning himself up with Prestidigitation.
When Miesha comes over to Lay on Hands the feline pulls away just a bit while looking up and down at her metallic skin but then submits to the offer of healing. "Bah, who am I to deny the will of the Eleven, eh? I'm a servant in my own right, truth be told!"
Miesha - Looking through the remains, there are some shoddily crafted weapons. Looking through the sludge left behind by the lead gnoll, you see the flail. It’s wicked barbs and chains glistening with ichor. You see now that the three heads of the flail, no longer in motion, can be identified as metal shaped into the likeness of skulls.
In the robes of the lead cultist is a small stone tablet. Inscribed on it is a ritual circle that looks like a much smaller version of the one inscribed on the floor, perhaps a first draft. There is a large slash across the tablet that obscures some of the writing.
Osboran turns to Miesha and responds, “The hyenas are wild creatures, but they have been taught to seek bloodshed. We could likely chase or guide them away from Aoswell.”
Maggwyn gives a sideways grin to Jasper as she notices his disappointment for not continuing the chase. She knows how he feels, that was her first instinct as well. But between how injured she is, "Thanks" she mumbles as Miesha helps her out, and the mission at hand, it didn't seem prudent.
Once it looks like the room has thoroughly been searched, she starts heading up the stairs, "Come on, lets make sure that the family made it back to the town center and get our reward."
Miesha would wrap the stone tablet and the flair in different pieces of cloth - spare clothes or whatever - and Stowe them in he pack. "We should take these. Perhaps to destroy, perhaps not, but they shouldn't fall into unsuspecting hands," she says to anyone who questions the move.
"Yes, our mission was to find the family and bring them to town, not stop cultists.. We should ensure they made it there. We can come examine this mess later if needed..."
"Well done, shaava Aalsan, fellow warriors,"Kass rasps as her helmet unfolds and retracts, revealing her face once more. "This was a struggle well-fought, truly. Your tenacity and strength are impressive. Let us go earn our well-deserved reward, and then perhaps we can yet chase down those mongrels that escaped our grasp."
Crannoc nods in agreement, but turns his head to look at Osboran and his cultist ally.
"And you, Osboran? This is what you wanted to bring about until you had a change of heart? Why in the name of Nature Infinite would you wish to bring forth such evil? And why did it have to be here - or would anywhere near a town have worked? Are there any more of your cultist allies or gnolls here that may attack us?"
"Yes, our mission was to find the family and bring them to town, not stop cultists.. We should ensure they made it there. We can come examine this mess later if needed..."
When Miesha mentions the parameters of their original missions Jasper grins and replies "but it was fun, eh?" "Well, except for the..." The tabaxi looks down at his bloody boots that he hadn't yet finished cleaning and visibly shivers at the thought of the filth of this place.
Crannoc - Osboran thinks for a moment, then replies, looking both very tired, but also relieved. “I never wanted this in particular. The Lord of Savagery protected my sister and me in difficult times, and so we offered it our service. My skepticism came about as the requests it made of us were more and more gruesome and destructive. This town was chosen because it was nearby at the time and they needed a secluded place to create the ritual circle. If you’ve dealt with the gnolls and cultists outside then we should be all clear with the exception of hyenas and such.”
Crannoc mulls over Osboran's words. Seeing Jasper look fastidiously at the blood on his boots reminds Crannoc to use Prestidigitation to clean the worst of the blood, thankfully none of it his own, from his clothes, skin and feet. He almost does the same for Jasper but suspects that the cat-man can do the same and would rather clean himself.
"I can volunteer to try to help calm the hyenas and restore them to Temuth's wilderness. Any of you are of course free to join me and I would be honored for the help, but I agree that at least some of us should report back to the city... ah, town. I am not sure what we do with this flail."
Maggwyn is back on the main floor of the house and she shouts down, "You guys coming with or are you starting your own freaky circle?" and with that, she starts heading out the door, keeping an eye out for the other hyenas as she enters the garden areas.
Anyone on the top floor would notice that the door on the right of the entrance (which you had previously decided not to go through) is burst open and heavily damaged. There are hyena tracks of blood trailing from the basement to the room on the right, then continuing out the front door, which is open slightly.
Unless there is anything else that you would like to do in Lonsvell Keep, you can complete the short walk back to Aoswell.
Kass joins her companions. "If those strange dogs are out for blood, someone may get hurt. It would be best we find a way to pacify them. Whether it is through Crannoc's nature-magic or through tried and true neutralization."
Crannoc - Osboran thinks for a moment, then replies, looking both very tired, but also relieved. “I never wanted this in particular. If you’ve dealt with the gnolls and cultists outside then we should be all clear with the exception of hyenas and such.”
Miesha, sitting and resting while idly cleaning her spear studies Osboran as they say this and grips her spear a little harder. "You drew the line at kidnapping this towns leadership, a blood sacrifice ritual to make a gnoll an abomination and... What, feed the family to it? Or were they to donate blood for the ritual?" she asks.
Before he re-thinking cultist can even answer, Miesha continues on: "The real question is what were you NOT skeptical about? What crimes and atrocities did you commit before your conscience got the better of you?" Miesha stands and approaches the cultist. "The information you provided was helpful, and you did fight with us at the end... And I shall share that information with the townspeople. But I will be delivering you and the apprentice there ((there is still a lackey cultist, yes?)) to the Lonsvells and the people and you shall have to face their justice..."
Jasper glances about the 'room on the right' from its entryway but explores no further unless something particularly interesting, or shiny, catches his eye.
Osboran responds to Miesha’s questions: “The family was saved from likely being the blood sacrifice that you all and the gnolls were. It would have saved my sister effort, but more importantly they were simply a family that didn’t deserve to be harmed any more than had already been done to them. There were some crimes that I committed before but most were unavoidable. My sister and I lived at the mercy of a society that did not have it, the Lord of Savagery saw us in a particularly dire circumstance and plucked us out of the wretched lives we had. For a while she and I just recruited others to his cause, then once we amassed a decently sized following he told us to meet with the gnolls. My sister and those gnolls developed these freakish rituals, but because of my skepticism she kept me out of this. You may leave me to the town’s justice, but it sounds like they have better things to do than sentence some tired man and his friend.”
Jasper - You see nothing of note in the room to your left as you exit.
Seeing that the others are following the family and heading into town, Crannoc, calling for Guidance from Temuth, tries to make sure whether the hyena tracks head to the wilderness (where he hopes they do). Once fairly sure of that, he heads back into town to join the others.
Miesha moves about the room and lays a hand upon the shoulder of each of those who fought alongside her and gives them a word of praise and encouragement. As she does Aaslan, Jasper, Maggwyn and Kass each receive 5 points of healing from the Lay on Hands...

Jasper glances back at the circle and then replies to Maggwyn "depends, what can you turn me into?"
At Crannoc's words Jasper shrugs and remarks with a bit of sarcasm "sure, but if that doesn't work I'll just return them to Marbor instead."
The tabaxi heads up the stairs ready to hustle to catch up to the recently freed family who can't be too many minutes ahead.

Miesha is probably near the back of the gang, making sure the last cultists head into town…
