Silas investigates the tunnel, the tunnel's ceiling is only 5ft above the floor, the tunnel opens into a 10ft wide channel cut through a large room. Not entering the room Silas sees the remains of an old water wheel in the channel and sees a strange green light that flickers like firelight. The source seems to be on the south side of the channel.
As soon as Silas moves out of the tunnel and onto the room the green glow brightens and the room is filled with unsettling moaning and shuffling sounds. Before you have a chance to react the glow moves rapidly towards the channel and a skull wreathed in ethereal green flame comes onto view over the channel. The skull's empty eye sockets lock their gaze upon Silas and the thing's jaw jerks open. "Intruder.....HAHAHAHAHAHA" The flames seem to swirl within the eye sockets and intensifies.

Lothar, being a tall man with a very long sword, manages to reach the skull despite it's hight above the floor of the channel and deals it a devastating blow.
The slightly crispy cleric returns fire with a guiding bolt that spins the skull around in place. Silas then casts spiritual weapon and a large glowing vice appears neatly positioned around the skull and the handle begins to crank down, the pressure reveals cracks in the bone made by Lothar's greatsword.
Tibern sees the cracks and takes aim. His bolt strikes true, wedging directly into the biggest crack and the skull shatters into five pieces that scatter about the bottom of the channel.
The feeling of victory is short lived and the moaning and shuffling sounds grow closer and eight rotten dwarven courses shamble over the edge and into the channel. Three of the zombies land prone but the other five close in on the two adventures inside the room.
