Telepathically, Finn reports her success even while heading the the facilities in order to keep up the ruse. “I can pass the keys off to someone else and then cause a distraction for them to get in… or I can wait for a chance to slip in myself. What’s the preference?”
Thordahr stays behind to keep an eye on Finn and to see if there is an opportunity for him to get in the room after her diversion, whatever it is. After learning that she was able to lift the keys, he sends to her ~I'll meet you in front of the bathroom and I can pick them up. That way, in case the others can't get in, we have another way in. I guess in the end it will depend what your diversion is, and how good it turns out to be. Just don't get yourself killed.~
He then heads over towards the bathrooms to meet up with Finn.
Norros sees a flash from the sun on a pair of binoculars from a 5th story window from a nearby building. Someone is looking intently at the party outside.
"Uh oh... We aren't the only people here looking for the red head. Someone is already staked out. Don't look. 5th floor. Binoculars." Norros rubs at his eyes, pretending not to notice the person spying.
Finn makes a point of seeing Thordahr as she come out of the restroom and slyly hands the keys to him as she walks past and back to the poker table to reclaim her spot. “I’ll accuse someone of cheating and create a huge brouhaha about it. I’ll try to make it physical without weapons being drawn. Tip a table if possible… Security always collapses on physical fights but even more so when chips are upended! A lot are the houses money and they want that shit secured immediately!” Finn advises telepathically… “Just tell me when you’re ready and wait for the distraction.”
Varlan raises his eyebrows and nods in appreciation and Noah's efforts, then offers to help muffle any sounds that the window might make when Noah opens it. Definitely a team with a history of deceit and larceny, he thinks, wondering how they might escape with the prisoner unnoticed by the observer across the road.
The lock was far more refined that the kind Noah was used to deal with. Should have known as much, he thought to himself as the man with the iron arm took care of muffling the sounds of the window. Tebith's Lounge housed far more money and danger than your run of the mill tavern. Alas, he succeeded in opening it. Just before Norros warned them about the presence of an observer. Binoculars, that explained why he neither heard nor sensed the smell of the stalker. He or she was probably too far to be noticed like that.
“If our observer is from the Lounge then we won’t have other chance of making our way through here.” He said pretending to be still working on the lock.“If he or she is not and the halfling is here, then we better get to her fast.” After all, the only other option was that the observer was a Low Lander, hardly alone and certainly with order to get Ellis. “I saw we go in. By the way, I got the window open.”
Saying that he backed off from the lock, back turned toward the stalker. The idea was to make it hard for the man to know if he had succeeded of failed.
Norros slides a finger alongside his nose and winks. "A bit of magic to make our package hard to see might help with that. Add another bit of magic to disguise, and we'll misdirect them. Leave it to me."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“So in we go.” He assumed by the bard’s answer while deciding to trust him. For all that was worth, Norros had proved time and again that he was a specialist when it came to avoid trouble. “I will need an extra pair of hands to lift this without making noise.” He asked to Varlan.
Work on a tavern starts early, at a time when noise is not welcome in the slightest. This made him used to open doors and windows in silence, but only from the inside. We should have brought the stealth girl with us, he thought approaching the window frame. The help of the artificer ought to make the process earlier.
“Remember to pull up the stairs when you get up here.” Noah said to Norros, while starting the work. Last thing they would want was for their mysterious observer, or some of his companions, maybe many of them, to follow behind. If they were part of the Lounge’s staff that would mean a pincer attack and even the Lycan knew how much of bad news it was. I hope he can convince the halfling to come with us. Otherwise, they would have to use the kind of ‘persuasion’ that got lousy, drunk clients out of a bar.
The window opens quietly. The curtains are still closed. You hear a conversation or more like an interrogation. "Where is the Aureum professor" someone says in a raspy voice. "I...I am not sure, I mean there are clues, but I can't say or I am dead." the professor says in a frightened voice. "I am sure this little concoction will loosen your tongue". A moment later you hear a muffled yelp.
A breeze blows open the curtains revealing the Tabaxi server left hand clasp around a red haired halfling women's mouth, while the right hand holds a syringe already plunged deep into Ellis Moir's neck.
You see a well appointed room with couches and a coffee table. On the table there is a satchel bristling with papers. Ellis Moir slumps on the couch. The Tabaxi server turns and sees the party members and looks down at the satchel. She runs and makes a grab for the satchel.
(This will be a dexterity check. Whoever rolls higher gets the satchel. The other option is to hinder her somehow from reaching the satchel. The Tabaxi server is 10 ft from the satchel. The party members on the fire escape is also 10ft from the satchel.)

(Nice roll. Finn is able to lift the key from guard)

Noah does not sense or see anything beyond the party members.
He does not notice something occurring nearby.
As he works on the lock, Varlan pauses to shake a sore wrist. "If anyone else wants to try, my ego certainly wont get in the way."

Noah with Varlan's help is able to open the lock on the widow.
Roll sleight of hand if anyone wants to open the window as quietly as possible.
