"Wow! Thankyou, Matilda!" Titaani says as she recieves the items. Putting them away on one of the pouches on Tiny's back, Titaani turns back to the others. "So can we burn this place down yet?"

Ben:
"Have we searched everywhere? Pulled out what we can of value and made sure there are no innocents remaining trapped here?" asks Ben, concerned that full-scale immolation leaves little room for second thoughts.
"I am not sure we should burn the dollhouse while it still has those items inside it--they could be very useful, and we need all the help we can get going up against the hags," he adds. Ben goes to the window and looks outside, hopeful to catch a glimpse of any remaining Nightshade allies or the missing dwarven warrior.

"uuuh...not sure where y'all explored before you found me and Brottor, but maybe we can search the textile mill? Or even the sewing room. My memory ain't so good, but wasn't there another door in Granny's room that we didn't open?"
IF Ben doesn't perceive any threats outside, Pud would say the following...
"If we're gonna keep searching this place, we should stay inside. Wanna go to the sewing room first? It's the closest room to us. Maybe we can use some of the materials in there for kindling."

Ben looks through the windows overlooking the garden. The moths obscure much of the window, but Ben can see well enough. The scarecrows have stopped screaming, the snakes are nowhere to be seen in the pumpkin patch, and the tin soldiers are gone from view. Even the tin soldiers previously on the balcony in front of him are likewise absent. Nor is there any sign of Elkhorn.
Moving halfway down the stairwell to the sewing room, you find that it, too, is vacant. The work benches are empty, the button-eyed doll overseer is absent, the prancing animated carpet inert. The cluttered sewing room contains rolls of fabric, bobbins of thread, knitting needles, and pincushions. (Make a perception or investigation check to search for anything further.)
Matilda finds plenty of sewing supples – fabrics, thread, needles... She scoops up what she wants.
But Titaani finds a few more curious trinkets – none likely magical, but all with conventional value, perhaps even here in the Fey: • A spool of barbed, golden yarn • Three bolts of silk in shades of putrid green and cesspit brown • A set of five painted thimbles depicting poisonous Feywild plants
"I'm done!" Titaani says cheerfully, then hands Matilda her thimbles and silk. "Here you go, sis. You'll probably find more use for these than I will."
She keeps the thread, though, as she is enchanted by it's shinyness.

As you step back out of the door of the sewing room, about to descend the rest of the stairs into the Tin Soldiers Barracks, you hear a commotion – or rather, a rhythmic beat, and the sounds of marching.
As you watch, a small animated drum waddles into the room on stocky legs, via the southern door, striking itself with a pair of tiny drumstick arms. Four tin soldiers march behind it, their metal footsteps synchronized to the beat of the self-drumming drum. Before you can react, the four tin soldiers enter four brightly painted little wooden houses, and their four doors spring shut with a clank. The animated drum becomes still. All ten small doors of the wooden houses are now closed.
(OOC: I was in the process of posting but Titaani beat me to it. I’ll take back my move and let’s see how this plays out. )
Pud is nearly frozen stiff in fear at the sight of the tin soldiers. In a panic he stifles a scream by biting down on his own fist. Then his eyes bug out as he watches Titaani reach for the little drummer.
The drum remains inert, its little drumstick arms hanging limply at its side. It doesn't respond to Titaani lifting it, nor to her questions. The room is dead quiet.
Pud let's out a sigh of relief as the little drummer remains inert. He leans in to Titaani and whispers "shhhhh...let's not wake the soldiers. Let's go back into the sewing room and head out to the stairs."
He motions everyone to remain quite and points back towards the sewing room. If everyone follows into the room, Pud will close the door behind them and propose that they cut short the exploring and escape the doorway that leads down towards the garden.

Matildas bag is pretty full already of Horatios stuff but she keeps an eye out for useful knitting or sewing supplies.
Investigation- 7
Matilda finds plenty of sewing supples – fabrics, thread, needles... She scoops up what she wants.
But Titaani finds a few more curious trinkets – none likely magical, but all with conventional value, perhaps even here in the Fey:
• A spool of barbed, golden yarn
• Three bolts of silk in shades of putrid green and cesspit brown
• A set of five painted thimbles depicting poisonous Feywild plants
"What the heck is going on here? Everyone is...everyone just left! I've never seen it this empty! You guys think we scared them off for good?"
Pud sifts through all of the materials and keeps a couple lengths of the sturdiest string as well as a few pieces of cloth.
"Everyone done here? Shall we move onto the textile mill next?"
