Cad wrinkles his nose at the dirty garments all over the floor. No telling who wore these before us -- probably some of those heads out there. "Bring a cloak befitting the station of Royal Magician. Ermine, if it can be found," he says with the same air of simply expecting all of his wishes to be met. Even if it's used and dirty, at least I can just wear it over my clothes. While their escort is fussing over picking out clothes he will remove his spellbook and begin studying. At least, he appears to be studying his book; in fact he places the note from his glass into the book and reads it.

Titaani finds the nearest seat and flops down, settling in for a long rest. Tiny will sniff around among the clothes curiously, and pick out a garment for his master that seems the least dirty.

If available, Horatio will also don studded leather armor, including any helm or leather bracers or gauntlets, greaves, and boots. He will also see if a heavy leather cloak is available. He carefully packs his own belongings into his bag, making sure to move his tools around to make room. He's had to live out of it before, so he's knows how to make everything fit. Once satisfied, he finds a space to rest near the others. The Bullywugs seem friendly enough, but he stays close to his group.
The bullywugs here crave gossip as they lounge around eating insects from platters. One, an older, lame bullywug who introduces himself as "Ufgunk, Knight of the Pickled Fly" assures that your color choices in choosing garments are "appropriate" and that each of you has a wig that is properly fitting (even if most of them are rather filthy). Tiny picks out an extremely long, red-and-yellow-striped sleeping cap for Titaani. Cad is provided a garish yellow cape trimmed with bells (disadvantage to stealth checks, but advantage on performance with bullywug audiences), and a purple fabric mask with mismatched eyeholes made of some kind of velvet. Horatio finds all the leather items he's looking for, albeit dirty, mismatched, and in very taste-challenged styles and colors. (Update your inventories accordingly if it's equipment you intend to keep.)
The rest seem mostly indifferent to your presence, especially as you have little to offer in the way of court gossip, and allow you to rest. (Everyone may benefit from a long rest, if you choose.)
Cad quietly looks at his note. It's written in Sylvan.
Cad flips through the spellbook to the page on which he had transcribed the Translation spell. Unlike most of the other spells in his book, this is one he has used several times in order to read the books in his collection written in other languages. He traces the sigils with his finger, muttering out the required incantations. Once completed, he looks back at the note to verify the spell worked.
When the cape is presented to him, he simply points to a place for the servant to place it, without otherwise acknowledging them. His skin is already crawling with the idea of needing to wear the garish thing.
Cad considers the note. He wonders who exactly this revolution is opposing. If there is a group prepared to rise up against Bavlorna and her coven, they would be valuable allies. But if, as seemed more likely, this was just another bullywug coup, he didn't want himself or his companions dragged into it. He decided to wait until morning to mention it to the others. He tucked the slip of paper into his spellbook and found a place to rest.
There is neither morning nor evening in this strange world you have found yourselves in. Just neverending twilight. You rest. (Long rest.) Bullywugs come and go. Distant music ends and begins again. The bullywugs eat insects and gossip endlessly. Exploring the immediate surroundings you see a lower level of this palace, submerged in a few inches of swamp water, where more bullywug courtiers mingle, and where a trio of bullywug musicians play an upbeat tune on stringed instruments. Out the window of the western room you see another clothesline extending into the fog over the lake with a variety of frayed, patchwork garments draped over it.
Ufgunk, Knight of the Pickled Fly, is back to inspect your clothing choices (of which he only marginally approves.) "Time for your viewing by His Royal Majesty Gullop XIX! Do you have your gift ready?"
Confused a moment, a panicked Horatio blurts out, "Gift... umm, why you're mistaken! We don't have a gift... we have... several, in fact... ahem." He looks at the others searchingly. "Let's see... we have the gift of.. of news! Of news from the world beyond! And... and we have tokens of the defeat of a bandit who plagued his highness' realm! Also... um... the gift of friendship?" Horatio's voice drops noticeably at the last part, clearly out of steam.
”Longscarf has plagued these lands—perhaps his confiscated fire poker would be a fitting gift for a king as proof of the brigand’s defeat,” suggests Ben, thinking, “Not like it will work for anyone but Agdon anyway.”

"Oh! That's such a good idea!" Titaani gasps, then takes a moment. "Wait, didn't Longscarf work for Bavlorna? And doesn't the king also work for Bavlorna? Will he be mad about that rabbit's defeat?"

Ufgunk slowly tries to corral the party, and, unless you have other plans, to direct you back to see King Gullop XIX, who is seated on the throne where he was earlier. He is still surrounded by both guards and unarmed members of his court. His baby crocodile is dressed in frilly red today, and his book remains at his side.
"Good, good! You look much more befitting the court now," says the king, admiring your new clothing. "We can provide you with an immediate audience with Bavlorna, as you requested." He hands his leather-bound tome to a bullywug dressed in an overly tight purple waistcoat, who then hands it toTitaani. "As duly appointed emissaries of the Soggy Court, please return this book to Bavlorna with great haste. Assure her that King Gullop has ensured its safekeeping, and wishes to return it immediately."
Ben:
…Ah, right, “medal”, not “metal”…In that case, Studded Leather armor will be the way to go. Good catch…
Ben finds to leather armor studded with rings of metal to wear—scant protection compared to his trusty chain armor, but better than nothing…

Cad touches the scrap of parchment, slowly and arcanely feeling the words through his fingertips. After a minute or so, he is able to make it out:
The message reads, “Find Illig, the Baron of Muckstump, at once. The revolution lives!”
Titaani scratches Tiny behind his ears in thanks, and then pulls the cap over her head and promptly falls asleep.

Tiny nudges Titaani awake, and she tiredly sits up. She takes a moment to get her bearings, before digging around in the bag on her familiar's saddle.
"I think...if the king wants something physical..." she murmurs, pulling out one of her daggers. "If I have to part with this, I will."
