Chadderlay looks at Angus and quickly decides he may indeed be telling the truth as there would be no reason to stick to such an obvious lie you were already caught in.
"Where did you come by that greatcoat? It's what the Bastard Bulls wear to identify themselves. They are shakedown artists here in Mulmaster."
Chadderlay glances around to see how close they are to the 'Leaning Boot' tavern, marking any landmarks he is familiar with and judging distance and time to their destination.
"If you are a knight of Myth Drannor you may want to keep that secret here in Mulmaster. Not many will look favourably upon your true allegiances."

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"My coat...?" Angus looks down at the orange garment he is sporting. "Why that little... *sigh*.... the tailor I purchased it from must have recognized me as a foreigner and decided to get me into trouble. Hmm... well it could come in handy I suppose, in the right circumstances. Thank you for the warning, I suppose I'll just go by Angus for now.
I assure you, Chadderlay, I am not here to foment revolt or harm this city in any way. Your aunt brought me here because we need to... acquire... a certain item to defeat a common foe."
You make your way quickly down the street. In the distance, you see the Wave n' Wink. Outside, members of the soldiery stop patrons as they exit and passersby. All reach inside a pocket or purse for their papers and show them before being allowed to pass. You decide to take side streets as you pass through town. Here amid the beautifully decorated walls of the city center, which hide the mansions of the wealthy nobility, you meet a pack of 5 well dressed men, with embroidery on their coats, reminiscent of the patterns stitched into Angus' newly acquired garb. They spot you as you rou d a corner.
"Aye. And what have we here, brothers? Who be this frssh faced felllow? And what fine company has he brought him with? "

This is roughly the path you've taken to get here, red being Chadderly, yellow for Angus, blue for the three arriving from Oerth. At the point you all met I switched to using a green line, originally I used blue from finish to the alley, and these artifacts are still visible. You're now at the X.

Angus will smile broadly, "Greetings, fellow Bulls! I'm Angus, just joined up over in the opposite side of town (insert here the opposite of wherever we are, i.e. if we on on the south, Angus will say North) cause my cousin Mario's a member and he told me how awesome you are. The Boss sent me to escort this here wizard over to the Leaning Boot for some sort of hush-hush secret meeting, I don't know the details. These others are the wizard's guests. How's tricks over in this part of Mulmaster?"
Gravity presses her lips together, squinting at the five well-dressed men while curling her upper lip in disdain. When she finds the knight trying to deceive them for no apparent reason, she will lean against a nearby wall while folding her arms. "He's lying, you know? He's been changing topic frequently and people generally do that when they try to hide something. I do that a lot."

Laughing, Angus replies, "Ya know, I don't even know. And I says, 'really man, cause I ain't had lunch or nothin' yet, can't someone else do it?' and then he says, 'Quit yer bellyachin'. Yer one o' the big boys now, start actin' like it.' So, long story short here I am. Say, you don't want to take them the rest o' the way, do ya? They're all kinda annoying, especially that one, and gettin' on my nerves. Do a pal a favor, willya?"
<@Brian_Avery are you in plain sight of these guys or lurking somewhere? That's going to effect the DC here. I'm using the roll from #129 above for deception>
Chadderlay will stand beside Angus looking stern with furrowed eyebrows.
"Come on now! One of you lot has to escort us the rest of the way, I haven't got all day! Either Angus or you lot, whoever it is will have to answer to 'Morkus the Furious' when we arrive for why we're so late, and you can be sure he will take it out of whoever's hide. He doesn't like excuses, that one doesn't."

"My instructions were to lay low for a day (ha!) and that Morwena would find me tomorrow."
Chadderlay looks up and down the street they are on. He then turns to the group and asks, "The 'Leaning Boot' is more likely to accept strangers but the 'Wink and Wave' is closer, we should proceed with all haste to one of those taverns."
Looking around at the different faces among the group to gauge their concerns, "Which do you all prefer? Choose now and let us be off quickly before we draw more unwanted attention."
