"We have to deal with this tiefling and her raven anyway if we want to stop the cultists from bothering us further."
Chadderlay will look up in that direction, "And there might be another key to the ritual to be found there."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."

<so, are you planning to fly up there or fight yiur way in. If you're all going it's going to be pretty hard to sneak, what with the huge lizard man, and all. A smaller party csn potentially enter the tower, but it will be pretty apparent to the cultists tending the goats at the camp by the spire's base, that the door had opened, so expect them to investigate. If you don't have a means to avoid confrontation, their target initiative is 14, but if you're invisible or teleport yourself into combat, they will be surprised.>
<So, I never asked about it, but did Akame want to raise tbe arcsne eye to the top of the spire? I just didn't think of it, imagining jt floating just above the ground, but if he wants to, I'll post what it sees in the spoiler>
A 40ft diameter floating glass chamber hovers 30ft above the spire's ruined roof. This chamber once served as an opulent and intimate meeting place for the upper echelons of Ythryn’s society. Now it lies in ruin, with entrances lying open and the furnishings inside smashed. Among the ruined furniture, a Teiifling woman looks out over the city, a raven perched nearby.

“Well I recon you lot will be good going on the inside” have a smile on his face “I’ll race you to the top” as he says that he will start to climb the side of the tower
2 cast spiritual weapon, which appear as black swords 8 for 9; 23 for 8
The third holds his action until Sam gets nearly 30ft up the tower, then casts command ordering rhe reptilian to "drop." Wis save DC 11 or release the tower and fall
(I don't believe size effects fall damage with standard 5e rules, but let me know if I'm wrong. I'm just using 1d6)
4 damage taken
The fifth cultist is so zealous that he begins to chases after Sam, grabbing hold of his trailing tail as he calls upon fiendish power to inflict wounds for 23 necrotic damage.
(I'm not mapping this as I expect you guys to just wipe these NPCs out and then the thing is verticsl. Its just not worth it)
At this point, if you wanted to make a stealth roll to get inside the tower, provided Sam's distraction, the DC would be drastically reduced, likewise you could move quickly and get in, without care if you're noticed or not. If you do just rush in, there's spiral stairs inside the tower that go right up to the roof, which you can access. The glass chsmber floats above that.
Tetrevess casts fireball on the cultists, switching out the fire for radiant damage. 22 damage, DC 22 dex save for half, carefully hitting as many cultists as he can without hitting Sam (or the rest of us)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Staggered by the radiant blastt, the cultists have no chance of defending affirmation Angus' assault. He quickly dispatches two, leaving three others standing.
Seeing if spiritual weapons are still up. Otherwise these guys are pretty much fungible. 11 or higher the weapon persists

Chadderlay casts Fire Bolt at one of the cultists:
Attack: 14 Damage: 13 fire damage.
Trying to save it before it gets flagged, lol.

There are five cultists and however many goats I said before (if it matters to you, I think it was around 20 mountain goats)
“Well I recon you lot will be good going on the inside” have a smile on his face “I’ll race you to the top” as he says that he will start to climb the side of the tower
The guards, seeing the huge lizard man wmerge from the ruins if the ancient city, rush through their encampment and start scaling the tower.
<Str (athletics) check is waived due to Sam's ridiculous strength vs an ordinary climbing condition>
Cultists:
In sight of Sam, they all cast shield of faith
2 cast spiritual weapon, which appear as black swords 8 for 9; 23 for 8
The third holds his action until Sam gets nearly 30ft up the tower, then casts command ordering rhe reptilian to "drop." Wis save DC 11 or release the tower and fall

Crit on spiritual weapon 3
So, everyone by Sam: run past, sneak past, combat, something else?
<spiritual weapon (x2) still 'up' at this time.>
(Apologies been afk for a number of reasons, back now- think we should kill these cultists, and then head up the tower.).
Go for it then
Tetrevess casts fireball on the cultists, switching out the fire for radiant damage. 22 damage, DC 22 dex save for half, carefully hitting as many cultists as he can without hitting Sam (or the rest of us)
Angus will wade into the cultists after the fireball, swinging his longsword.
First longsword Attack: 20 Damage: 15 magical slashing + 1 radiant damage
Second longsword Attack: 29 Damage: 12 magical slashing + 7 radiant damage
Wis save 19

1 11
2 13
<result: one spiritual weapon is still active near Samogri>
Akame & Chadderlay are up
(You can engage or move past the combat. Up to you)
<bump>
Chadderlay casts Fire Bolt at one of the cultists:
Attack: 31 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. fire damage.
Trying to save it before it gets flagged, lol.
Chadderlay takes out the cultist, leaving two standing. Akame is up.
While we wait, here's a picture of Avarice. She is an albino.
