Youre coming in from the edge where the boat is (you don't have to use the poleboat, its just there to give you an idea where youre starting. You're possible spread out quite a bit as you look for the wells, etc. It's center left.>

I should have specified, so I'll allow this one to go off, but Velvet is mostly going to maintain an altitude of 80ft here, unless otherwise noted (this is directly from the module and makes sense for the intent.

Eight kobolds ride on Velvet's back and hurl rocks, nets, and acid and firepots onto the characters as they battle the trolls. For the most part, Velvet stays well out melee combat, instead staying low enough for the kobolds to attack and shout a few insults-- approximately 80 feet off of the ground. If the characters seem to be making short work of his trolls and kobolds, however, he uses his breath weapon to even the odds.
Additionally, I'm ruling that any creatures on his back are out of range.
If you prefer, you can take it back before I make the save against it. My apologies for the oversight.
<npcs can make stealth checks vs Oli as needed. I'm giving some more time for players to add tokens to the map themselves but eventually if they don't I'll just do it. It's for the players' benefit, in theory, but I don't mind moving toke s for them at all.>

Alistar grips his staff as he waits for the dragon to be on the ground. For now casting Faerie Fire on the dragon trying to highlight his form for his allies.
Whenever initiative 16 rolls around, fhe kobolds lurking around the ruins start to close, those riding Throstelgrael start throwing things and the two trolls waiting within the temple emerge.
ooc: Oli wanted to be behind a tree to take shots while hidden and then hide again to get Sneak Attack damage. Can I move my marker to the tree closest to the boat instead of in the open as he is, or should I move from where you put the marker?
I just threw down some markers. Ideally players will move them as they see fit. If you can, you may also use custom markers. I was just keeping it simple tonstsrt with new players and updated software. Etc.

Sure, 4-5ft sounds good. The temple itself is tall enough to hold some trolls, maybe 1f or 20ft

Most of the ground within the ruins is covered with 1 to 2 feet of slow-moving water. However, the hidden wells are quite deep and difficult to see. All of this make traversing the ruins dangerous as a number of traps have been laid by the kobolds within. Here and there willow trees and reeds lightly obscure creatures standing within or behind them

It would be nice if we could get owlbear's initiative teacher working. So far I csn only see Tetrevess as a player, bit even then, I haven't figured out how to add him to the initiative. Still part if the learning curve. Anyhow.

I was hoping owlbear 2.0 would be in place to help with that, but looks like its still going to be a manual process. I will still psor screnshots here. So far i think im moving almost everyones tokens. Is anyone moving their own tokens? I just dint want to move you if youve already moved yourself.>
