"The problem was more serious than any of us thought. There was a portal to the abyss and demons were coming through. We had to vanquish their evil presence and close the portal."

Trisk takes a seat when he begins explaining what transpired in the sewers.

"We're going to need at least a day or more to recover and deal with our friend Oli's demise."

“Yess what we believe to original happen was that a creature called a crawler that was eating the remains off the demons” Sam explains also about what layer of the abyss and the demon prince that rules it 

“we have dealt with the trouble.  and… it was worse than we could have imagined.  this portends terrible times- while we have solved this immediate crisis, we must research more on this situation”

“alas, Oli could not be saved.  Still, their death will save many lives- perhaps even your own.   The hordes of the demons of the abyss were only just assembling for thieir assault.”. tetrevess comtinues, somberly.

”**these items are of interest.  Useful should we venture inderwater.  Ill take 3 of these seeds for further study, if no one objects” Tetrevess says

Tetrevess will take rhe potion of flying and divide up the platinum. (17 total- how many are we?) 

“Ill carry this potion, but dont be shy to ask for it.  I keep it right here.”. he points to his belt pouch.

Randy will take the bow and 4 sticky seeds and the ring; Maybe they might be useful for one of his new infusions once he recovers from his shock. But right now, he feels extremely bad  "As the new guy said... there was a portal lurking underground. Whatever jerk that was acting as it twisted my mind so hard that I couldn't speak or think. And yeah, because of that stupid construct, we saw three demons in the process and we all deduced that portal has to be responsible for their presence and the loss of bunny boy; There might be more lurking on the other side. If we're struggling against only three of them, I wouldn't dare to go up against a massive horde ourselves until we've actually improved. I... the mission was on me. It was entirely my fault for getting hypnotized. I wish I could revive him..." He then glances at his loot and then back at the owner of the place. "Do you... you perhaps.. have like an unused belt or a rod or something? I would like to try something myself whilst everyone else does their own thing for the time being if you do. Maybe they could help benefit some of them or myself better in the long run."

Trisk will rest his hands on the arms of the chair (if their are no arms to the chair he will fold them in his lap) and glance at Tetrevess while waiting to see what anyone else has to say about things.

"That is disturbing, but this place has seen its share of demon's.  An army of undead invites such trespass.  This land will never be free if it's history, but maybe we can save it's future.  Rest up, you've earned it.  I ha e more work for you when you're ready." Gafna replies to rhe news.

“Thank you.  My companions, It is I who feel responsible for the death.  By Boccob, I swear the death will not be in vain.  Now- these other items- are they of use to us or should we exchange them for other things ro help in our quest?”. 

(after discussing, he asks if anyone wishes to quickly return to the flying city to check on things (basttion maintenance) and store items- He plans to do a quick round trip with teleportation circle)

(assuming there is a local teleportation circle he can use to return after learning the sigil sequence)

 Sam will also join and start setting up his bastion and getting himself clear and ready 

Trisk will accompany Tetrevess and Sam back to the bastions.

I think you're overestimating the prevalence of sigil circles in tbe world. They're not bus stops.

I don't mind anything you need to do mechanically with the bastions.  What with the dracolich and all,  it has been about a week since you've been there.  Do you have to be present to do something bastion related? It just breaks immersion a bit if you're first sneaking in to the city and then you can just teleport in and out with no fuss.  Most places in the world, you probably could do so as a group of this level with no issue.  Thayans definitely have safeguards against certain mobility magic, though.

 If not outright stopping unauthorized teleoprting, it is at least the exact kind of thing the Probity Corps would be checking for.  So, with that in mind... are you sure you want to telport to your bastion.  Sending a message would be far safer, so consider it if it would accomplish the same thing.

To be clear, I'm not saying you can't, I'm asking if it's what you choose to do.

(ooc: I am going to continue with Trisk... although I agree with you that it might be worth freeing him for roleplay purposes and have him be an npc, maybe he can hang out in one of the bastions and help?)
