The apprentice (not a wizard, yet) fails to carry off his spell. But he does not cower. His mentor, struck down, this space defiled. His rage is boundless. He will die before he let's you leave his husk here. Still, Randy manages to shut the door, which swings outward into the main hall, slamming it in the boy's face.
(@everyone That means no saves needed, no damage from the burning hands that didn't happen)
The warrior takes a hit but doesn't flinch.
Randy waits for the door to open again.

Trisk will now order the silver coins to attack the apprentice but use non-lethal damage so that we can knock him out and question him maybe?

Put your spoiler here.An attack roll 24 dealt 8 slashing damage to Trisk requiring a DC01 concentration check. (iirc, Picollo avoided damage this round, so no spillover damage to Trisk and no Con check required for that).

Already suspecting someone to lash out at him from behind Randy reflexively blocks the attack from the warrior behind him before he retaliates without saying a word.

I use owlbear almost every time someone makes a move, so if you get booted just request to login again and I'll see the notification when I look at the map and let you in with one tap. May not be instant gratification, but coukd be helpful. I never switch links, if they're different , that's the severside behind the curtain stuff that's opaque to me.
Also, if you look really close, you can see all ten coins are pictured and move as a group if you drag the blue one (they separate if you pull others)

I mentioned earlier that the coins would knock out the apprentice, which is true, but it's happening on the other side of a door someone shut now, so really, you wouldn't know this yet. The animated coins 'know' it if constructs 'know' things, in general, but that's a whole can of worms. Anyhow, proceed as you please, it's just an observation and mostly an error on my part, I think.

In case you were wondering, they don't know the fake Sam is fake, they're not avoiding him, they just all have better targets. Having the pack tactics feature makes them use it, so 7 flanks real Sam tonhelp 2. 3 and 8 gi shoulder to shoulder to cross multiply thier attack and when in Thay, likely casters are priority targets, hence 4,5, and 6 attack Trisk
Piccolo, annoyed at the Thayans attack, plays a note on her instrument that is so intense, it almost sounds like a scream.
(Shatter: Centering the AOE right above northwest of (4) to get 4, 3 and 8 in her effect, the high pitched noise causes 11 thunder damage to each unless they make a DC21 con save (1/2 damage).
Cunning action: Disengage (to try to draw 3 past Ethan for an opportunity attack) (can't access owl bear, move one square west (back to wall)
Seeing Picollo disengage from his distance as effortlessly blocks the oncoming onslaughts, once she moves 5ft or more away from him, he positions himself in between the thayan warriors and does a 360 degrees spin whilst he smacks all of them in a single swipe. (DC 18 Dex from all the warriors or be ravaged with 12 Force)
