@Brian_Avery: You took a long rest. Did you make a new Sam/boat? I don't think it's invisible. If it can be seen, even if the party is invisible, the hundreds of beholderkin will target the boat. If people are in the boat, they're still making Wis saves.
So, is there a boat, and who wants to get in it?
Also, Tetrevess is about halfway through and not invisible, so another Wis save is needed before next round action.
(ooc: remember I used a 6th level spell slot to upcast Major Image which removes the concentration limitation and changes the duration to 'until dispelled.' I saw the water and figured it might be useful to help traverse the room. If everyone has their own way across or it would be better to spread out against the beholdkin's attacks then Trisk can move quickly across the terrain as he has a Ring of Free Action and isn't limited by the difficult terrain.)

Trisk makes it a few more steps, dashing across the sticky floor before it happens to him, too.
Beneath the thick ooze, there are at least two holes in the solid floor, concealed by the opaque slime.
These open sinkholes are 5 feet across and 10 feet deep, and they are filled with slime. A creature that falls into a sinkhole is restrained in the narrow bottom and submerged in slime, unable to breathe. It takes a successful DC 15 Strength check or Dexterity check to work free, and a Small creature has advantage on this check. It then takes a successful DC 10 Strength check to climb out of the sinkhole.
<1. I don't expect anyone to drown in slime, but you do lose access to spells with verbal components while submerged

Triak remains stuck in a pit, foe now, feeling the acidic slime burning his skin as he struggles to free himself.
At this rate, it will take Picollo 5 rounds (30 seconds) to reach Trisk. However, as she watches the slime, she observes something.
Picollo notices the unusual flow of slime in and around a particular spot. Thus, she surmizes, might be another sink hole. (I literally don't know if she can warn the others in her dispersed form, though.) If she's right, it means she could, in theory see other sinkholes as well, by looking closely for this same pattern. Of course, she was only able to see this one when she was nearly on top of it: the movement is quite subtle.
