(Um, how about we defeat the guy swinging the flaming sword around before we start looting the room and heading for the exit? He's just going to follow us wherever we go...)
As Angus cuts down the Knight Commander, he utters a final word in Thayan: "Immortality" he gurgles, blood flowing from his lips.
<You do, in game, have a map (albeit from the monastery before the Thayan occupation). It's on the campaign page. There is another set of steps all the way in the NorthWest, just beside the Reliquary.
Akame carries the body of the late ambassador via TK, while (who?) totes the small chest of statues and notes.
It sounds like you want to search the place, so you do. Cherthemiud's spellbook is right out in the open. You can have it. If you want you can take the knight commander's flametongue greatsword, too. I'll post the spells in the book shortly.
Those two stairs are rhe only ones you're aware of, so either rage one or the other or let me know what you do.
So, still trying to see what you guys are goi g to do. You are still in hostile territory. The transmuter is still a dragon, just kind of stuck. O clue what happened to the Necromancer. The guards and knights are (in theory) heading down here to intercept you. You k ow od two stairs. One you took to get here and another one on a map. Somebody tell me how you plan to get out.
The hallways outside the central room are still full of that mist, btw. I won't enforce that ridiculous 50% chsnce if getting g turned around thing, though.
(Did we find the 'see invisible' item on the Ambassador?)
Angus will pick up the greatsword, unless Sam would like it. He can also carry the chest.
"The stairs we came down were blocked by a wall of stone spell, but I'm sure that's gone by now, correct? I would say we head to the opposite stairs (NW corner). They pass through the knights' quarters, but I assume all the knights are out looking for us..."

Sam will go over and pick up the great sword “this might come in useful”
Sam will cast cure wounds at 2nd level

(spell wise I’m absolutely tapped out we definitely need to leave)

(I thought one of you still had a teleportation circle prepped for escape, or did you burn that slot? Sorry tetrevess is on holiday in the astral. Don’t forget to grab that spellbook!)
(OOC heh, I guess i'm not RPing very well, totally haven't even addressed the fact that Tetrevess disappeared in an explosion before our very eyes. I blame it on the fog of war, adrenaline brain. Angus will mourn you after they get out. If they get out.)

Are you searching him? I thought yoi just grabbed the body and booked it out of there.
If you stop to search the body, you find (and 'have'):
A spent pearl of power in his pocket, and within the hem of his hood, sewn into the trim so as to peer through it when he bids his head, the wizard has hidden a gem of seeing
(I thought one of you still had a teleportation circle prepped for escape, or did you burn that slot? Sorry tetrevess is on holiday in the astral. Don’t forget to grab that spellbook!)
Oddly, the Ambassador did have teleportation saved. He really wanted to send that thing to Thay ir he'd be as good as dead. Now he's just dead. Actually dead is an upgrade compared to the fate he actually dreaded.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
So, ot sounds like yore heading northwest. As you leave the room, the kitten follows closely with whoever(?) has the chest.
Assumimg yoi dash for two rounds, you end up just outside the reliquary, to find the double doors flung open toward you. The Necromancer stands surrounded by a half dozen corpses risen from the dozens of corpse laden tables that fill his laboratory.
Raising a finger at tbe adventurers, the Necromancer orders his minions, excitedly, a crazed grin across his face, "Don't let them leave here alive!"
(I'm putting these guys under the same initiative.)
"Let's head out in a different direction on the odd chance it might prove a little easier, the stairs to the Northwest are easy to find."
The *other exit to the stairs you used opens to the courtyard where the bulk of the 50 skeletons shows up. I said that would be cinematic, but it's still true.

(If we Dashed we could have gotten away since he couldn't attack if he tried to keep up. Oh well.)

Looks to the rest of the group “Angus is right the fact is that we are going to be in major conflict which ever way we go out”
he will cast cure wound with his last 2nd level spell

Sam can take the higher roll for regaining hp.

"Does anybody know what happened to Tetrevess? Is he dead? Was that some spell the Thayan cast on him? Or did he teleport away?"

Zombies 14
<will post map soon>
Assuming everyone's speed is 30, adjust if I'm wrong, you'd be about here.
Start at the top of initiative, so Akame and Chadderlay, then Necromancer and coincidentally zombies.
Why can I only sometimes see the map above?
