Running headfirst into the sun Hadi barely manages to roll and protect the urn from falling as he drops to the ground. Standing up and slowly catching his breath he looks over to Khessa yelling at the mist and then clutches at his head as the pain pierces behind his eyes. He says rather quietly, "Maybe let's not piss off the horror in the mist?"

Tristan grimaces at the sound, shaking his head to get rid of the ringing in his ears. Wisdom save 16
As he walks further away from the forest, Tristan looks a mess. His clothing is torn and scratched from brambles, and his left arm hangs limp at his side, blood dripping from his fingertips. "Is anyone hurt?"

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
For a single round (of 6 seconds) Dimitri and Hadi freeze in place, paralyzed from the creature's voice before shaking it off. Looking around, there are no signs of other travelers, but there is a river on the far end of this field. Though you were only here temporarily, it also appears this might be the field you arrived in after being teleported here. Because you were originally suppose to travel here by foot, T'bitha had taken the time to familiarize herself with the area, and has a small folded up map of the surrounding area. Tristan has also wandered through this area once upon a time, whether he remembers it well or not is another story.
"This creature seems still able (and willing) to do us harm" Khessa notes. "Let's get further away from it".
The tall arcane warrior, does like she advised and begins to run away. If she manages to reach the limit of the range of her Fire Bolt (120'), she waits for her companions to reach her, then launches a last fire projectile as a farewell to the monster, setting fire to the bush beneath it and telling it: "Since you like to talk in the language of pain, this is my way of saying 'goodbye'!".
After that, if she can, she moves further away and asks the others: "Now we have what Ozemon wants. How we bring it to him? Someone knows the way and can lead? I'm not from here, sorry, I come from the Rivenis Kingdom..."
Dimitri felt a piercing pain lance through his head, he clenched his teeth and scowled. He wiped his hand under his nose and saw blood. He wiped it away. Panting, he took a couple for steps away from the forest, then he picked up pace again to catch up with Khessa. "Okay." He said, glancing at the plume of smoke coming out of the forest, the corner of his mouth twitched into a dry smile, "If anyone asks, it was lightning."
After freezing in place for a couple seconds Hadi then comes to just as another firebolt pierces into the mist. "Well, whatever is in there is gonna remember us,"he says to the group. He then checks the urn in his position to make sure it's still intact and is about to turn to keep walking when his companion bows her head in 10 minutes of prayer. Waiting, somewhat patiently, he then says, "Shall we?"ready to head off.
"I only wished to speak..." Khessa says "...it has been that thing that choose this language for the conversation. Anyway, ready when you all are! If somebody knows the way, let's not linger any longer".
You all begin making your trek back to Whiteridge going off T'bitha's map. You spend the entirety of the first day traveling through this field until you come across a commonly traveled path. The next four days are spent traveling north on the road until you come across Wakefield by nightfall. While in Wakefield, you hear a couple of things. Mostly, the talk of the town seems to be that a winged devil was seen recently; which is extremely rare. The other less talked about talk of the town is the fact that a few days back, a young lady woke up with glowing red tattoos across her entire body. She was seen as an omen of the devil, and she was chased out of the town.
The next morning, you set off from Wakefield, continuing north with the road after four more days of travel, you reach the small village of Roonshire. A small rundown village on the edge of Roon lake. They also seem to be talking about a young lady who came through, looking very worse for wear, covered in glowing red tattoos from head to toe.
You continue from Roonshire heading east until you come to a fork a few hours later. The north road leads to Whiteridge, you take the north road and continue traveling. A day later, you come across a rather gruesome scene. Laying in the middle of the road is an unmoving bloodied man, and 4 very bloody unmoving crocodiles. However, you do see movement. As you get closer, you notice 3 centipede looking creatures, however, these ones are roughly 10 feet long, have massive insect-like mandibles, and seem to be feasting on the crocodiles. They however took notice to your presence as you were walking, and they focus their attention on you all.
The Alligator Eating Centipede rushes over the bodies of the crocodiles as it runs toward all of you lunging and attempting to bite KhessaAttack: 12 Damage: 8
((for the RP stuff)) As they travel, Hadi is in pretty good spirits, as he generally is, though spends quite a bit of time looking over the map from the ruined city, talking about it as they walk and how he'd like to go back at some point if possible.
Whenever they stop at an Inn for the night he's quite flirty with any attractive bartenders1, using prestidigitation to bring some fun and magic into their lives.
Listening to the rumors of the winged devil, Hadi talks with the others to see if any would have any idea what it might be2. He also shows interest in finding this 'young lady' to know if he could help her in anyway.
1 - couple straight charisma checks just for fun for his flirting: 15; 15; 4 - if performance or persuasion are at all more appropriate, add 2 to any of those rolls 2 - if anyone is helping17; 12 + 4 for arcana/nature, +6 for history
Khessa was keeping an eye for the poor tattoed lady, hoping to be able to help her. This is why she is very vigilant and is the first to realize the threat of the centipedes.
"We have got company!" the tall arcane warrior quickly warns her fellow adventurers, unsheating her greatsword. She tries to position herself between the enies and the party, drawing the attention of the attackers on herself while allowing the others to organize.
One of the centipedes comes forward with all too obvious intention and the blonde warrior-mage leaps to meet it, making its attack miss wildly.
And since she wants to draw attention, what’s better than cleaving with her greatsword at the monster that just came near?
Hadi, you manage pretty well with your flirting. Not with the bartenders, but with patrons of the tavern. The only bar you visited was Ye Old Sailboat in Wakefield. It's ran by an older tabaxi gentleman, who runs the bar on his own, and is built in an actual ship that has been dry docked out of Roon lake.

As the bite sinks deep into Hadi's leg, he shakes off the beast and tries to summon the calm to practice what he'd learned. He begins to whistle softly to himself, an upbeat tune which gives him internal strength. He then pulls his whip from his side and swings towards the smaller centipede, but first causes the tip of it to glow with a green flame.

While in Wakefield and upon hearing about both a winged devil and woman with glowing red tattoos, T’bitha tries to recall any additional information through her knowledge of religious rites and deities. In particular if the tattoos have any significance associated with a particular deity or ritual custom.

Week 2- Combat
T’bitha reacts seeing Hadi get bit and she pulls out a small strip of white cloth from her component pouch. ”Eilistraee! Find favor in Kheesa, Hadi and Dimitri. May they find a boost to their stamina!”
The cloth glows softly and begins to disintegrate and float towards Khessa, Hadi and Dimitri. The cloth bits infuse their bodies as they feel invigorated.
(OOC- Kheesa, Hadi and Dimitri gain 5 temporary hit points)
"Don't worry about it, most of the blood wasn't mine." He looks thoughtful for a second "Actually that is untrue, I am pretty sure all of that was mine. Sometimes when I activate my powers the marks on my forearms bleed. I think most of my abilities have something to do with my blood, it is kind of a theme.
Week 2 - Combat
Running towards Hadi, Tristan throws himself inbetween the Centipede and his ally. His unsheathed blade starts to glow with ethereal lightning as he activates his crimson rite (1). With a grunt he thrusts the blade upwards towards the gap between the mandibles of the creature.
Booming blade: 9 Damage: 9 + 2 Thunder damage and another 5 Thunder damage if the creature moves on its turn.
