He considers to himself if it would be worth cutting off her head and carefully taking the necklace without touching it, and perhaps the arms with the gems to be studied at another time by someone who might know their meaning. Perhaps Irongrass could help in deciphering this mystery.
"yes Frangipani, good point. The red wizards of They." Sparhawk unconsciously rubs his always broken nose.
Surprising for Sparhawk, he takes a knife and cuts her head off. He tears off some of her cloak to gain some fabric. Holding the cloth and careful not to touch her or her belongings, he removes her neck band and puts it in his backpack.
"Hum, I'm sure Bjorn would be interested in these. Lets take these crystals as well, perhaps it will help us learn something."
"Anything else here we may want Frangipani, my friend?"
"Oh, lovely." Bjorn looks to the spot where Eberk was standing. "The cleric's gone," he calls out. "Teleported, I bet. Do we follow, or leave him? Or wait and see if he maybe finds his way back?"
He puts away his sword and gently picks up the strange staff, reasoning that surely nothing bad will come of it, because even a god couldn't stop Bjorn..!
One minute your reaching for a mask and the next you find yourself in a dingy, dusty large room. One the western wall there is a series of strange looking skulls in small alcoves. They are larger than a human skull will some strange deformations. They sort of resemble the masks from the other room. Someone has crudely scrawled "The curse can never be broken" on the center of the East wall, over 3 chests. There is a shut door on the north wall and an arch way leading down on the east wall. The light in this area is very faint.

Bjorn:
You pick up the staff and feel a sort of low humming vibration. You can tell there is magic in it, but will need a short rest to ponder its abilities and connect with it
“Likely this is like Abernaths painting I assume. As Eberk has not come back gather your things. We will touch the same mask.” He looks around. “All agree?”
This large, dark and dusty room is approximately 70x70. On the western wall ( the top) there is a series of strange looking skulls in small alcoves. "Well." Bjorn casts torchlight upon the weird skulls. "This is grim."
"No sense leaving a chest unopened, though, eh?" He crouches before the leftmost chest (laying down the staff and the torch) and unrolls the trusty lockpicks, but he does wait for the Captain's go-ahead before proceeding.

" She is wearing red.....didn't someone speak of Red Wizards? She doesn't smell tasty....."

"Let's see what the rest found."
We head to group 2's location.
Eberk respond down the hallway. “ We found masks.” Eberk slowly pull a mask off the wall.
Eberk reaches for the mask and disappears
( which one did you grab?)
West.

“Wait for us…!” Sparhawk yells ahead.
“what happened?”
Sparhawk quickly relays what they found.
“we will give him a moment. Then follow. I’m not losing part of my crew today!”

"Well I did what I could for him. Do we go back?"
“Likely this is like Abernaths painting I assume. As Eberk has not come back gather your things. We will touch the same mask.” He looks around. “All agree?”
" Lets go.....any idea where? Where do masks like this come from?"
Bjorn nods. "Aye, we didn't hear any screaming this time. Let's just hope it doesn't take us too far from here."
Torch in one hand, staff in the other, he approaches the mask. "On three?"
“Yep, one, two three.”
After Eberk has been enjoying some solace in this new area of the Tower, the rest of you appear not far from him.

Frangipani headed over and examined the skulls trying to determine what they once belonged to.
