Arigar comments "so they took us all under  different circumstances using different methods." He is thinking if he should say his part of his capture but he doesn't feel now is the time to do it..instead he finishes his sentence " now we are all the same, and that is free people that trying to get home "

A slight smile comes over Rus' face. Normally being alone is not a problem for him. He spent long stretches of his life alone among the creatures of the woods and the swamp.  Bu here. Well, the company is certainly welcome. "Well met Arigar! I have things to do before I get home, but sitting in a cell working as labor certainly was not one of them."  He looks back to Clarion. "I don't know much about the drow.  My clan stays mostly to themselves. The folks I've met while being here in the outerlands are much different than I expected." He looks around and the grin widens. "But I have to admit, there is so much more out here than at home. It's wonderful really."  And then the reality of his current location sets back in and the grin fades. "Well, maybe not all of it." He pauses for a while in thought and a slight sparkle of light comes back to his eyes. "But hey! As Arigar says, we're all the same now. Companions with a purpose. So that is my focus for the time being!" He scans the area as the walk looking for plants that could be food or medicines. Always curious about anything new that he's not seen before.  He looks back over his shoulder at stool too.  How very curious.  (Survival: 18)

Companions. That is a word that the Earth Genasi is not very familiar with. Obsidean does travel, but he always did so alone, for he preferred to travel under the moon and stars. "I must admit, unfortunately that I am not very familiar with the denizens of the Underdark." He says unprompted, and after a slight pause he continues. "It may sound strange, but I actually never thought of visiting the Underdark. But as fate has it, and with the Moonmaiden's willing, I shall explore this place since I am here already." He thinks for a moment on what he just said. "Perhaps, I should say that WE shall explore the Underdark, and meet new folks together... Hummmm. Maybe that sounds better. I must admit, I have to get used to traveling with other folks. I usually travel alone, and in the dark. I supposed the latter should a constant down here."

"I like your optimise big guy! Let's see if you are right or we gonna run with arrows following us.." comments Arigar at the juggernaut that's been called Obsidean. He adds " dont want to be grumpy or anything but from my experience I met a few individuals from the underdark..not pleasant folks, some of them creepy and lunatics, others were just men who wanted to make a extra coin "

"Right," Clarion hums, deciding not to be offended by Arigar's evaluation of the people of his home, instead focusing on the other's words of encouragement. "Companions with a purpose...I like that."

Noticing Rus's assessment of the local flora, painful memories of Clarion's father swim up out of his subconcious. Pushing them away, he turns to the firbolg. "Are you interested in plants, Rus?"

@All - Seems like campaign is stalled.  I've never DM'ed but have started this campaign a couple of times and would like to finish it, even if I'm on the other side of the coin. I'm willing to purchase the adventure and run it if we have enough folks still interested.  PM me if interested. If we have enough interest I'll send a group message.  I won't be able to start until sometime the week of July 18 and I do have a large project going on until mid September so posting may be slower than some other DMs.

Hello DM. Glad you are still around. Sorry, just moved my character back to the campaign. Looking forward to continue the adventure when you are ready.

Rus considers the previous days events...

Just a few weeks ago, he'd been lounging in a dale listening to the rustle of the dragonflies... Now, here they were in dark underground, just recently captives of some Drow folk. But, quick thinking on the part of several of his fellow captives, they have escaped their bonds, and a few of them, Rus smiles to himself, tricked the guards into thinking they too were guards and so they marched out of the cell down to the guard tower, sending the guards that they encountered there out to help fight some pretend foe!

Rus glanced at this loose fellowship. Arigar, Clarion, and this new addition which seemed to come from nowhere... Obsidean.  They have all gathered what belongings they could find, and are ready to go.  But where?   A few of the other prisoners offered advice, Stool, the small and needful sprout, offered his home, but alas, could not recall the direction, so the team decided to set out to Blingdenstone with Jim Jar helping to guide them.  He seems less that trustworthy, but so far has been on their side.

Were there others?  Rus looks around.  All he knew was that right now, they are in an abandoned guard post. But it wasn't likely to stay that way for long. They needed to go. Now!

OOC we were in the guard post which is the top right circle (stalagmite) on the upper map (top view).  On the side view its the left stalagmite.

@generalpersonguy said he was still in. I guess we need to move south to the next area carefully but will need the DM soon.
