Sunita screamed as Alyndra fell, all her nighmares crashing back in upon her...she abandoned her current fight to drive her blades deep into the hulking nighmare standing over Alyndra.....in her mind it was not some wretched remnant but an immense hulking form with a blade for an arm...

Fighting with a desperate fury, Bosko's attack is so brutal that he nearly severs the zombie's entire head from its body. A spray of black blood pours out of the wound, some of it wetting the bugbear's face, as the expressionless head bobs about, connected by only a small bit of tissue and rotting muscle. However, through whatever unnatural toughness, resilience, or weird magic that keeps this creature alive, the zombie refuses to die from the attack that would have killed most any creature.
Swinging again with disbelief and frustration, Bosko lashes out with his other hand, and this time completely severs the head. It drops to the wooden deck with a sick, wet thud and the body falls lifeless, landing just beside.
This gives Sunita her opportunity to turn and sprint towards the other zombie that's standing above his now unconscious companion. With a flurry of blade work, he skewers and cuts deeply into the undead thing, spilling plenty of black blood and viscera onto the deck. The rather burly sailor who was helping Alyndra try to move the plank throws his body over hers in a move to protect her from any other attacks while she's down, as the other two sailors who hand tried to push the zombie begin swatting at it with their clubs.
A bit further away, Markus, who is reeling from the intense, deadly chill and weakness that has wracked his soul to its very core, watches as the residual acid damage from his previous spell continues to eat through the ghostly flesh of the spectral pirate and finally destroy it. Rushing over to his mates, he touches Alyndra with his staff and administers his special unique brand of healing. She comes to with a shock, and as she opens her eyes, Alyndra sees the sailor who's using his body to protect her, and the group of people desperately fighting with the bloody zombie above her, including her husband, who has two arrows sticking out of him.
Lazarus stands almost frozen with his rapier seemingly lodged in the air in front of him. His eyes go wide as he sees his wife get struck to the ground and his voice gets caught in his throat. He tries to focus but the sudden pain which is a great way to come back to the here and now. "FU*K!" He would yell as he would look around to see the undead archer "You cheap little dipsh&t!" Lazarus would look to see the sailor cover his wife for safety and then Markus would come to bring her back which would cause his heart to skip a beat. He would need to thank all of them profusely when things were calmer. But before that, he would use his anger to strike at the undead creature that had attacked his wife in anger with his rapier. "Go die somewhere else!" He would thrust at the creature and in the same breath, speak healing words unto himself. "I wont let us die here!" He would feel the pain from his wounds start to fade as he gains a bit of health back for himself.
While healing himself in an entirely different manner than the way that Markus just did, Lazarus stabs at the zombie with a vengeful and messy attack. More disgusting, putrid, black blood pours forth from the wound and streams down onto the deck. The wound is serious, but the zombie remains standing.

Alyndra comes to consciousness with violent twitch, feeling the electricity zap through her even as she was healed, her eyes and pupils blown wide as she tried to get her bearings. It felt different than when she was healed by Lazarus but it wasn't important at the moment. It was no less chaotic than before she had been knocked out. The amount of people over and around her making her feel only a little more safe considering the close proximity of the persistent undead. Green eyes focusing on the vile creature, the woman glared and shouted, "Leave us alone!"Nothing visibly occurring but those familiar with the arcane might feel the waves of psychic energy being flung at the zombie with her Mind Sliver. Hoping desperately that the spell would finish this one off so she could try and deal with the archer turning her husband into a pincushion.
The unseen psychic energy that emanates from Alyndra's spell hits the zombie with enough power to finally destroy it. The undead creature emits a horrifying screech from its bloody mouth before falling lifeless and collapsing to the deck next to her.
All of the invading undead creatures aboard the Sea Spirit have been killed. Scattered bones, blood, and grotesque, disgusting carcasses litter the deck, and the only one that remains alive is the armored pirate captain on the other ship. Raising his longbow once again, he quickly shoots two arrows that fly right towards Sunita. One of them hits her in the chest and pierces her armor. (6 hp damage.)
As of right now, all of the sailors, except for the one that was protecting Alyndra are rushing down to the lower deck to get on the oars. The captain and his two officers are currently watching the pirate captain and preparing to move away. (The air is completely still, so there's no wind in the sails.)

With only one target left, Markus will move to get some cover (half-cover if possible), these arrows could be the end of him. Still hurt from the ghost attack, he runs behind a crate, panting. But before taking cover, he will still try to shoot a firebolt to the undead captain.
Bosko watches the zombie in front of him finally fall, grunting in approval that the task was finished.
Looking about, he sees the captain on the other ship, and takes a step forward before realising that their own captain was trying to manoeuvre their ship away. Not wanting to be stranded on the other ship, he drops his bear claws, which clatter to the deck, and unslings his long bow.
He takes careful aim at the undead captain and looses an arrow at him, focussing his will on the strike and empowering it. Still inspired by Lazarus, he makes sure that his strike is successful.

When Sunita asks her question, she looks around and can see the numerous lanterns that are fixed at the edges of the ship, which were lit when you entered the fog. It wouldn't take much to untie one or more of them.
The captain says, "Yea, we got plenty more lamp oil." He then nods to his first mate, who quickly moves over to rummage through one of the boxes on the main deck. After a few seconds, he produces a large gallon sized flask. "Got a few of these... although ah think we're gonna want to save at least one, in case this fog stays on top o' us."
Meanwhile, Bosko's arrow sails true and sticks into the armor of the undead captain on the other ship. However, the fire bolt that Markus launches at the creature is a little wide and it misses its target.

Mentally flipping through the spells at her disposal, Alyndra moved around the brave sailor that had protected her and stared down at the ship that had attacked them. Considering it's dismal appearance, she wasted no time in entertaining the hope that damaging its already tattered sails would slow it any. Instead the wizard saw what Bosko and Markus were doing and focused on the undead archer. That had been the one shooting at her husband. Her Lazarus.
Rage heated her belly as Alyndra muttered, "Let's see that armor stop this. Tormentum!"Three glowing purple pens materialized as Magic Missiles around the half elf's head before shooting off as she pointed towards the undead Captain.
Alyndra’s three magic missiles fly through the air and slam into the undead pirate captain with an explosion of light and arcane energy. Meanwhile, Sunita hurls two lanterns towards the other ship. They crash onto the deck, glass breaking, and oil spilling out, before it ignites and flames begin spreading as small patches on the deck of the ghostly vessel.
The pirate watches this happen, and then he completely changed tactics; instead of firing another volley of arrows, the armored figure turns and leaps over the edge of his ship and disappears into the darkness and fog. A second later you hear a splash.
Sunita grinned, " I thought a captain was supposed to go down with his ship?"
" If he boards we have him outnumbered and at close quarters and if he doesn't.....he's either floating out here somewhere or latched on to the bottom of the ship....."
She turned back to look at the others then the horror of the slaughter on the deck filled her eyes, but she held herself in the present....her teeth gritted and eyes haunted.
" Lets get these scraps overboard......", she turned to look at the captain and the others. " Or will they rise again? And these brave souls who fought to defend our ship? If we commit them to the sea will they also rise? Or are we near enough to land we could bring them to consecrated soil?"
Sunita herself had no idea and was just dragging her memories for scraps of old stories and tavern tales...
She then presented herself before the captain, " I am sorry for my failure in preventing these deaths, I....have no excuse..."
Bosko stands at the rail of the ship for more than a few moments, looking down into the water for signs of the undead pirate trying to board their ship, his longbow at the ready.
Perception (disadvantage due to poor light): (6, 11)+5=11
If there is no sign of the undead pirate, he will pick up his bear claws and look about for Alyndra, Lazarus, Markus and Sunita.
"Clan all survived, this good", he says to them.
He then starts clearing the deck of all the undead, tossing the bodies overboard.
"Shame about crew. Fought bravely, much honour. Could have been worse", he says loudly in response to Sunita's apology to the Captain.
With no other sign of danger, Markus takes a breath. He does still feel weak. This spectre really hurt him. "We are alive but some of the sailors were not that lucky. What does the captain want to do with the those poor soul ? I though it was current to send them overboard after a small ceremony."
Markus then jumps onto the pirate ship and extinguish quickly the small flammes. "Maybe we should have a loon inside. I am curious of what treasures we could find !"
As you all huck the bodies of the skeletons and zombies overboard, the captain thanks you profusely for helping to save his crew and his ship. He also says that normally, they’d bury the fallen crew members at sea, but with all the undead, he’s not comfortable doing that, for fear that their bodies and souls would be stolen and turned into zombies themselves. he proposes at least hailing them away from this area before putting them to rest.
He also advises Markus that he and his crew are pushing off, so unless he wants to get stranded on the ghost ship, he’d better come back to the Sea Spirit.
After checking that his clan are all in one piece, Bosko heads off to find Diego to ensure their employer is likewise among the living.
"Where Diego?", he grumbles as he sets off in search.
As he looks about the ship, he will check corpses as will as the living, just in case he met an unfortunate end. He assumes though that he most likely scurried off and hid, and it is just a matter of finding him.
