Sunita finally got the last buckle done on her armour, " I'm good. I'm going after the fishfolk, someone who hits harder should see about making us some crab-cakes."
She charged past the lad heading for the back of one of the sahuagin with her sword aimed at its spine.
Bosko lumbers forward to engage with the giant crab that has the sailor trapped in it's pincer, hoping to to hurt or distract it enough to drop them.
He reaches out with long arm in turn, swiping with each bear claw.
"Back off!", he says sternly, followed by "Drop!".
Movement: Rush into combat with giant crab holding sailor. Action: Attack with Bear Claw: 2+5=7, Miss! (I assume) BonusAction: 2nd Weapon Attack with Bear Claw: 3+5=8, Miss! (I assume)
Sunita rushes in with martial precision and drives her blade into the back of one of the sahaguin. Her attack is swift and would have been deadly to most regular folk, but as she has seen, these sea creatures are rather tough, and they fight back! Spinning around, the sahaguin jabs at Sunita with its spear Attack: 5 Damage: 9 and leans in to try and gnash at her with its wickedly sharp jaws. Attack: 17 Damage: 3
Meanwhile, Bosko closes in on one of the giant crabs, but he finds them to be quite hard to hit. Between their hard shell and odd proportions, he's unable to land an effective attack.
At the same time, the fight continues between the crabs and the sailors, and you watch as another one of them is caught in the deadly pincer of the fourth crab, but like two of his other companions, despite his injuries, he's able to wrestle free from the sharp, strong claw.
Markus realises quickly something was wrong. Part of his primitive brain was telling him to flee as fast as he can but his curiosity was stronger. “An attack and the island sinks, these two must be connected. But then, would that means they can sink island ? What kind of power can do this ?”
He decides then to regroup quickly with his friends but tries to find any clues of why the attackers are here, rapidly checking any poutch or bag that they would have. Investigation (I’ll roll with disadvantage since I guess I’m doing that in an hurry): 14
Markus reaches the group just as he sees a giant crab attacking the sailors and the boat “Our only way out.” Once again, he runs close enough to the giant beast and aims with his staff sparkling fire. Fire bolt: 23 , fire damage 3
OOC: my apologies, I’m having a massive workload since 2 weeks and probably won’t be done before another 2 weeks. I did not check the website and did not see it was my turn.
Scambling forward across the sand, Markus quickly stops to inspect one of the fallen sahaguin. It's just a scaly humanoid corpse with fish-like features and webbed feet, but he doesn't find anything of value on the dead creature.
Quickly jumping back up and joining his friends, he sends a fire bolt at the injured crab that is holding one of the sailors in its vice-like pincer. The fire burns the crab, and you can tell that it's close to death, but it's still hanging on to the poor sailor.
Overhearing Markus' hypotheses regarding the island sinking, she calls out, "Dragon turtle? Kraken maybe? Some sort of underground reservoir that they have slowly been chipping away at for years in some sort of attempt at a revenge even?? But let's focus on not dying for now!"
Of course that was right when she was hit by a spear in the shoulder and she cried out in surprise and pain, gripping the wound before seeing Lazarus immediately retaliate on her behalf. "I'm alright."She reassured Lazarus.
Surveying the situation and making her way alongside her partner closer to the ships, the half elf's green eyes scanned to try and see if any of them were clustered close enough together but even the ones that might be were all also close to sailors or her own companions. "Dammit dammit dammit." Before she saw Markus shoot out a flick of flame towards one and saw how injured it was. "You'll do." Focusing on the crab that was crushing a sailor with a glare she murmured with intent, "Mens Lambero."Casting Mind Sliver on the creature.
Lazarus was halfway out of his mind as he was starting to think of worse things to say to these heathens and each word seemed to be followed by a curse word of some sort. It wasn't until he heard Alyndra's words that he would take and hold in a deep breath. He almost holds it a bit too long before letting the air burst from his lips and his fixation on the target of the fire and his wife's spell.
"I think some stabbing is in order!" He would then move across the land in order to place himself close enough to the crab that has the sailor if it wasn't dead from the strikes made by the other magic casters. If it was when he got there, he would look for the closest creature to find a home for the end of his rapier.
Between the Alyndra's spell attack and her hunsband's follow up with her rapier the couple enjoys a brief bout of marital bliss as they finish off the giant crab and save the poor sailor who was caught in its grasp. He quickly extricates himself from the spiny, hard shell of the pincer and scampers across the sand to safety, shouting his thanks towards the pair who saved him.
Two of the other crabs continue to battle with the other sailors. One of them is caught fast when he's squeezed and bloodied by the painful pincer, even as he stabs the crab in one of its eyes. The other sailor is also grabbed and injured quite severely by the crab, but in a fit of desperation, he lashes out wildly with his scimitar and stabs the crab right in the face, killing it instantly and releasing his bloody, wounded body from the now lifeless grasp.

Sunita finds that the sahaguin display an adapt level of martial prowess, and she's unable to break through its defenses during this round of attacks. It continues to fight back with an aggressive volley of stabs Attack: 12 Damage: 6 and attempted bites. Attack: 21 Damage: 5
Bosko's own attacks are deterred in part by the crab's hard shell, but he manages to land a cut with his blade on one of the more vulnerable joints. He compounds the amount of damage the creature has taken, between himself and the sailor who stuck it with his scimitar.
Nearby, you watch as the four sailor is brutally killed by the crab that he was fighting. The lifeless, bloody body slumps down, having been crushed by the creature's sharp, spiny claws. One of his companions screams, "NO!"
Seeing the dying sailor, Markus sends a fire bolt from his staff at that crab. The surprisingly potent arcane attack creates a brief explosion of hot, searing flame, which turn the giant crustacean into a blackened charred mess.
Next Round.
Alyndra and Lazarus are up. Both Sahaguin and two of the giant crabs remain, one of which is seriously injured.
Alyndra watches as the crab perished by her husband's hand and smiled at him before her attention was taken by the sailor they just saved. "Get on the ship! The island needs to evacuate!" That was when she heard one of the other sailor's scream and she saw the bloody lifeless body slump in another crab's claws before immediately being incinerated along with his murderer thanks to Markus. "Scheisse." She cursed with clenched jaw, eyes roving between targets before raising her hand again and casting another barrage of Magic Missiles, this time only aiming for the two giant crabs. One to the very injured one and the other two to the less injured one.
Alyndra's magic missile attacks slam into the two crabs, causing bright bursts of purple energy. The crab that's currently fighting Bosko is blasted to bits with the blast, while the other one has part of its shell blown apart, although it still manages to keep crawling...barely.
Lazarus would pull his rapier from the shell that stood little chance against his mighty piercing prowess. He would look to the sailor and hive him a head nod and a bit of a salute with the point of his weapon to his forehead before hearing Alyndra yell out. "You heard the woman. Go on now, Get!" He would turn around and search for another target as things seemed to be sliding from one side to the other in terms of how well things were going. He would see Bosko and raise a hand to his mouth so that his voice might carry to him.
"HEY BOSKO! YOUR SUCCESS SHALL BE ALL OUR SUCCESS!" His words would carry with his a hint of Bardic Inspiration to it to hopefully help him along. It was then that he would aim to go and find himself one of the Sahuagin that wasn't hurt...yet. He would aim to get its attention with a thrust of his weapon.

Shouting his inspiring words towards Bosko, Lazarus closes in on the sahaguin that's currently battling with Sunita. He tries to stab it with his rapier, but finds once again that these creatures definitely have some fighting ability. Just as he extends his blade, he suddenly finds himself on the defensive from the creature, as it spins around and attacks with its spear Attack: 18 Damage: 6 and tries to bite into the firbolg's flesh. Attack: 14 Damage: 2
Locked into battle with the sahaguin, Sunita continues to antagonize it with quick stabs and slashes. She manages to even more blood, but despite her wishes, the creature keeps fighting.
((Picking things up here, I'll go ahead and post for Bosko.))
Turning towards the last remaining giant crab, Bosko lashes out with his bear claws and this time cuts through the softer flesh at one of the joints in the hard shell. His attack is swift and brutal, and he easily kills it with a forceful slash of steel.

The auburn haired woman would hold her tongue until she made her move, so as not to give herself away.
