"I...I don't think so, Talgred. I'm not sure how much help they would be, and I am concerned that there are multiple groups interested in our...documentation...who might have connections in many places, perhaps even the guards," says Logan. "I say we just protect each other and rest while we can," he says, though he still looks too weak to protect himself, much less anyone else.

Talgred nods to Logan and speaks with the innkeeper who seems worried by the events and their words, but it seems that a handful of silver pieces reminds him that he doesn't really want the guard waking up and interrogating his guests. He goes downstairs after thanking Talgred for his explanations.
"You should rest Mylord" says the old man "please allow me to clean and bandage your wounds..."
Gorm looks about Logan's room an notes that it is larger and more comfortable than any of the others which she had seen. "I am sure we could all rest here for what is left of the night," she points out. "One could stand guard while the others got more sleep. Some may be less comfortable but it should suffice. Why do you two not finish the medical tending, surely you could do that and keep watch sufficiently. Once that is done, awaken me and I can take the next watch..."
That said, Gorm picks herself a corner of the room to sit in, back against one wall and legs stretched out. She positions her swords so that they are easily within grasp and then closes her eyes...
Not requiring much sleep at his age Dr A reaches into his backpack and pulls out a book of some sort and is soon deeply in contemplation of some obscure philosophical construct and ideology.
The light of new day finally starts to enter the rooms of the weird group of strangers that seems to have find themselves entangled in a sinister plot.
They get a quick breakfast, Logan feeling a pain on his back, and pass the rest of the day anxiously looking over their shoulder, except Dr. A who is really captivated by one of the books he purchased the day before.
Mostly by Logan's insistence they left early to the Roving Dragon, the tavern that it is directly above Braundle's Best, a fanccy restaurante. They had to use some stairs attached to the exterior of the building to reach the actual entrance of the Rovind Dragon. They are early and there is still daylight, and Braundlae, the owner of both the tavern and the below restaurant, suggest them the eastern hall, known as the Snout Room due to its form that protudes from that side of the building and has a nice view of the Royal Gardens merely a few hundred feet away from it.
They find themselves a table and are served drinks. The tavern has more clientele than their inn, even at this early hour, with most of the people starting their dinner, hot or cold food served at a more reasonable prices than the restaurant below, but without the exquisiteness of the courses served at ir. There is no sing of the woman that gave Dr. A. the scrollcase.
“Perhaps our attackers got to her as well,” Gorm suggests when it seems the contact is not showing up as planned. “Do you have any other way to contact her? Or know where to look for her?”
Encased in his protective armor, Logan stretches uneasily as he waits—his wounds healed but their memory fresh. “You may well be right, Gorm, but I believe this is our only method of contact,” replies Logan as he looks out over the Royal Gardens idly.

"Ahbut it is possible that you're right my young friend"Dr A says to Gorm "but still I think we need to give her a bit more time!". He turns to one of the wait staff "could I trouble you for some more hotwater for the pot - it seems to have gone a little cold"
Not even two minutes later Dr. A. is enjoying his new pot of hot water. Small wisps of vapor raise from the beverage and Karvian notices something weird. The wisps doesn't behave as they should be, raising and disipating but they linger and move as if different sources of wind were fighting to push the vapor in a different direction. When he tells the others they all see how the smoke starts to form small letters in elvish.
"Meet me... " reads Dr A. while the words form and reform moved by the invisble hand "at south wall of the gardens. Near rear iron door. Bring it. Sorry for this. It's safer this way. Loved your Feywild lecture."
"Ahbut that is interesting"Dr A muses to himself. He turns to the party and whispers "one at a time make your way into the gardens and place yourself where you can get a good view of the iron door in the south wall!"As the party slowly drifts away, Dr finishes his cup of tea and then makes his way to the iron door in the south wall of the gardens.
"But..." Gorm says, skeptical. "I never gave a lecture on the Feywild? Should we trust this?"
Listening to Dr Arbutaveyu Gorm nods but disagrees. "I don't think you should be alone, Doctor. You are the most inviting target, I would hazard. I will stay with you..."
Murmuring softly, Logan says, "I think it is a clue...keep an eye out for creatures of the Feywild and perhaps hide the scroll somewhere unexpected instead of carrying it directly--in case this is a trap."
Standing up, he says in a more normal tone, "Too much tea for me, I am afraid. I shall return once I have used the lavatory," then heads off to the gardens by himself.

I am Chiara Bonwood. " she says mostly to the others with the doctor "And I thank you all your help. Have you been able to look at the information inside the scroll?" she asks to Dr. A.
