"I understand Rae. I wish you luck and hope our paths cross again someday. Take care of yourself out there." Paca is sad to see his friend go but happy to see them before they left.
Pacaheads back out and asks Dagoro. "Is there anywhere I might purchase potions or magically enhanced items? Also, What dangers might we face in the mine?. Just so I know what to look for while shopping around."
Rae moves to shake your hand Praxius but noticing the falter in your step, quickly withdraws her own. A soft smile curls on her face. "If you're ever in the area, drop by my Dojo. Simply ask around for The Lightning Striker, Someone will be able to direct you towards it." Rae secures the small pouch to her belt and gives you both a nod of respect, waving towards the rest of the party and Dagoro before walking down the street, soon she turns down an alley and vanishes from view.
Dagoro, Visibly confused. "She aint joinin us then?" He looks to both Paca and Praxius. "OH, I was just tellin Quigg's 'ere. Ifn ya lookin for magical doodads or somethin to take the edge off when yur ' urt. Lucky Tidings of there is that place to go." He directs you attention down the street in the direction in which Rae has left, pointing towards the same hollowed out boulder he had shown Quiggley.
"As fer what to expect, Dodongo's lurk in dem mines along with a few Lizalfos. 'Eard tell there may be a Poe in em somewhere, Lotta spiders. At least in the first few chambers, dunno after that. Not much of a miner meself." Dagoro chuckles, flexing his impressive musculature.
Quiggley nods and enters the bank. He waits his turn and approaches a teller. "I would like to trade these for rupees I can more easily divide by four , please." , Quiggley mentions as he struggles to place the 3 ginormous rupees on the counter.
"Sounds like plenty to keep us busy", Praxius says jovially at mention of all the threats that await them in the mines, his attention now taken away from having to say goodbye to one of the first people in a century he has been able to call friend.
"I wouldn't mind seeing what magic we can find before we leave. Do we have time for me to study Frostbrand as well? I guess you are eager to leave , Dagoro?", he says reaching his hand up to touch the hilt of his new great sword.
“Which way to…uh…Cor Feroes cross?” Theo asks while the others head off to Lucky Tidings. “I’d really like to see what the Gorons there are working on.”
The Goron behind the counter watches as yous truggle pulling the gargantuan rupees from your bag of Holding, with each weighing nearly as much as you. Yet the Goron seems undisturbed and unreluctant to help. "Split evenly that'll come to 30 Large Silver's, Distribution fee and my services will claim three of those bringing your total to 27 Large Silvers, or any combination of your choice. If your happy with that, I can get you your Rupees." He just stares blankly at you, Unmoving. You get the sense that if this Goron dosent have to move, he likely wont.
Praxius and Paca,
With Theo's eagerness to take in the majesty of this city, which is very much in his element. Dagoro suggests meeting a Cor Feroes Cross once Quiggley returns and you both are done with any buisness you wish to conduct within Lucky Tidings. "I'll bring Theo over to Cor Feroes Cross, is just over that way. About twenty minutes on foot til you reach a Cross road with that tower in the center of it." He points to one of the Three large towers, carved out of stone that looms over the city. They are nothing to Gawk at and seem to serve as more of a waypoint for the city, so one does not lose their way while wandering this maze of near identical stone buildings. "Is all right, I had planned to go in the mine before nightfall so we got sum time"
Dagoro leads Theo down the street, pointing out various Smiths and describing exactly what they construct. While the pair of you goto Lucky Tidings. While Praxius stays outside, spending some time with newly found weapon. Paca you enter into what is a hollowed out Boulder with no door and are immediately greeted by an Older looking Goron. This Goron is surprisingly, smaller than you. Coming up to about your chest in Height, He is hunched over and walking with a cane carved out of rock, two large rocky protrusions are jutting from where his eyebrows should be. His low hanging jaw reveals a set of broken and discoloured teeth. "Oi? Who's there? Welcome to Lucky Tithings, 'M Tithe. Lemme know if you see anything you want."
Looking around the interior, you see that most things for sale are simple Bedrolls and tents with a few nice looking lanterns hanging from one place on the wall.
Theo,
Walking with Dagoro you are shown dozens of different smiths and tinkerers at work, some crafting armor and weapons while others are working on what appears to be some sort of small time piece that you may be able to keep in your pocket. It is a wonderland for you, never have you felt so comfortable in a place as you do now. Surrounded by craftsmen and inventors just like yourself, those who imagine and build fantastic things just because they can. After Twenty minutes, you come to the base of the large tower pointed out by Dagoro as a waypoint for your companions. Immediately a familiar scent hits your nose, one you know all too well because you utilize and craft with it almost on a daily basis. The scent of Blackpoweder that has recently been ignited, not too dissimilar to the smell given off by your weapons.
BANG,an echoing shot rings out through the cross roads. Followed by a roarous applause, across the way surrounded by a Group of large Gorons. You see another, about the same height as Praxius but far smaller. Showing off what appears to be a weapon not unlike the one you carry. "See the Amazing Boomsticks! Crafted by Slai in a feat of technological advancement that will forever change how we fight! Long gone are the cross bows and Bows that we are unable to use, now with a simple squeeze us Gorons have the ability to end a battle before it even gets close to us!"
Nyka and Kadevii,
You both rapidly descend from your flight over the large city as a ball of iron tore threw the sky and nearly struck the pair of you. Wether Angry or simply curious as to what had produced the loud noise paired with the projectile, you Descend to see the familiar and imposing form of Dagoro. A 13 foot tall Goron with large metal plates surgically grafted to parts of his body, standing next to a Halfling, who's eyes are brimming with wonder and excitement.

Pacalooks around the shop for a moment and then down at Tithe. Suprised he says "Wow, I thought all Gorons were huge. No offense or anything just surprised, you are a breath of fresh cool air. Say would you happen to have any sort of potions for sale? Magically altered items perhaps? And I will definitely be taking one of those lanterns, funny story that one....."Pacagoes on to tell the tale of his lantern and talks for a good 15 minutes about it's abuse and destruction.
Kadevii, a rito with a mix of red and deep blue plumage, yelps as the projectile nearly clips his wing. He circles down to the ground, breathing a sigh through his beak. As he lands and walks toward the goron, he seems to skip, bouncing up into the air on his talons. This Rito seems to fly even when he walks.
”Was that… six hundred feet or so? I was up there and it was still going pretty fast! That’s quite an impressive weapon!” He complements the Goron holding the firearm. “I know you’re really proud of your work, but could I ask that you, um, not shoot at us next time, Dagoro? My friend and I nearly got knocked out of the sky!”
The rito hopes that by complementing and respectfully asking, he might be listened to and not anger the Goron. Rolled persuasion: 8
He looks to the halfling. “Was he selling it to you? It seems really impressive to me!”
Looking around, Praxius realises this is not the place to be swinging a magic great sword. And so he simply sits down cross legged, his back against the outside wall of Lucky Tidings, examining Frostbrand. He can feel the power emanating from it, in a manner distinct but not dissimilar to his current blade. The balance of the weapon is perfect, and as he runs his fingers down the flat of the blade he feels a hint of the icy energy waiting to be released.
Holding the blade horizontally, he stares into the white metal, noticing the bluish hue become more evident the longer he maintains his focus.
"What a beauty", he whispers to no-one in particular.
“That was amazing!” Theo says to the Goron. “You know, I’ve actually been experimenting with weapons of this sort from some time.”
He brings out his Pepperbox to show the Goron. “This little one is ‘Pepperbox’. It can fire up to 6 bullets at a time before running out. Not too much range or damage on it, but works pretty nicely.” After stowing it away, he brings out the much longer Bad News. “And I call this one ‘Bad News’. It only fires once, but it goes far and deals a ton of damage.”
Turning to the newcomer, he says, “Oh, no, I wasn’t buying the gun. I actually make my own weapons. Erm…who are you?”
Nyka, a Rito with feathers that shift from deep blue to white to black at the tips, fly's close to his friend as they descend. "Do you think they were trying to hit us? I know Dagoro is there, but the others are never very friendly." He says as they get closer to the ground. He ensures that the hood of his cloak is up while he comes in for a landing.
Nyka comes down silently and lands close to Dagoro. Where as Kadevii tends to bound and bounce around, Nyka moves more deliberately and fluid. He nods at Dagoro "Hello again, Dagoro. I hope you weren't intentionally aiming at us."
As you recount the epic tale of how you lent your Lantern to a friend, and then that friend dropped it. Waking up a sleeping Dodongo, you are unsure if the older Goron is even listening to you as he makes no movement or gesture. He just grips onto the head of his Stone cane and looks in your direction. At least you think he does, the rocky protrusions from his eyebrows make it difficult to tell if he can see at all. "AYE" he cuts you off just as you come to the end of your story. "I've some potions for sale, couple doodads sent over by Buudle and Burt." He then turns and walks over to a large stone chest in the far back of this Boulder, you would call it nestled by the back wall but you are unsure if this even counts as a wall.
The older Goron slowly sets down his Cane, picking up a very large ring of keys. "Now.....which one was it....." He begins to thumb through them. "Y'know Youngin......we just got a new invention stocked....****y three of em ever made......the fella who 'ade em called em a 'ookshot?" He was clearly guessing as he attempted to recall what the items he was talking about had been called.
Theo, Nyka and Kadevii
Dagoro, looking a little bewildered by the accusation placed upon him. Looks between the two Rito's and the Halfling at his side. "Wasnt me, was 'im" He points over, across the way you can see the thin Goron still showing off the newly made weapon. "Theo, I'd like you to meet.....Where'd he go?" The Large Goron scratches the back of his head, while he was being falsely accused of shooting near the two Rito, the Halfling had strolled up to the Goron showing off the weapon that had actually done the deed.
As you show him your own version of what another craftsman had made, the Goron's joyful attitude evaporates. He stares at your much finer weapon, More developed and easy on the eyes. A sleek and elegant version of what the Goron is holding. The Weapon in the Gorons hand, while similar to your own is far less refined. With open mechanism's and no real effort put into making it look good, however they do share one similarity. Both weapons do have the capacity to fire six rounds at a time, yet something about the rough metal of the Goron's weapon catches your eye. There is something off about the gleam from the steel, In fact with the way the light hits it. You swear you can see swirling flames floating along the metal.

“Ooh,” Theo says as he sees the metal, mesmerized by what he thinks is swirling flames. “What kind of metal is this? I’ve never seen anything like it! Where did you get it? Does it have any sort of special properties?”
Pacareplies to the Goron as he shows him the potions and hookshot, "These potions, what exactly do they do if you don't mind my asking, and how much for each? Also, that is quite the contraption of a grappling hook you have there. How much for something like that?"Pacawill whisper to Lizi, "Go find Quiggley, he has the money I think...this sounds quite expensive."
Quiggley exchanges the gargantuan rupees for 27 silver rupees, putting them in the bag. Moving outside and not seeing anyone he moves down the road past Lucky Tithing to Oi' Alma it's place. He pulls out the damaged lantern. "Excuse me I have been told I could get this repaired here?!". Quiggley holds out the busted lantern.
The young rito stargazer takes a step forward. “My bad, then! Hard to see who it was from that far up, plus the adrenaline and all that. Nyka and I were looking for a shrine i thought I saw when I was flying over the area. Say… we heard about the mine, I don’t suppose we could help there in exchange for help finding the shrine, Dagoro? We’d be glad to help you and your father out!”
Nyka tilts his head from one side to the other rapidly, confused by Dagoro's response. "Sorry, I didn't mean to accuse you personally, I trust you. I meant more in the royal sense of you. You know, the collective.... never mind. Seems to have been an accident either way. But yes, what Kadevii said, we heard you have some trouble and want to help. And we are curious about the shrine here." Nyka looks to the halfling that wandered off. "Who is that? They carry a weird device, I have never seen anything like it."
Alright, your 3 gargantuan rupees were exchanged for 30 Large Silver's. You pay the toll which is 3 of them and pocket the rest. You now have 27 Large Silver Rupees(2700 Gold) within your bag of Holding. Greetin Ol' Alma as you approach, the Goron is visibly very similar to that of Praxius. Tall and well built with massive forearms, Their face is covered in wrinkles with deep set crows feet on their eyes. The Goron turns to you and inspects the lantern. "Aye I could fix it ifn ya wants me to, I got other for sale if ye just want a replacement." At this moment, you feel a small puff on your left shoulder as you see a very familiar Green Fairy set down.
"Quiggley! Paca told me to get you! He's over at a shop called Lucky Tidings!"
Paca,
Tithe, still fumbling with the large ring of keys falls silent for a few moments. You wait patiently and the thought crosses your mind that perhaps they hadnt heard you, so you clear your throught and begin to repeat yourself JUST AS Tithe cuts you off. "The Potions? One of em makes ya tough, the other two can fix ya up." He settles on a key and sinks it into a rather sturdy lock built within the stone chest. "Blast it all" He curses as he pulls the key out and begins to thumb through the ring again. "The 'Ookshots? I'd let em go for 600-" He stops, looking back at you over his shoulder for a moment before returning back to the fumbling with the keys.
"900 Large Greens, Theres only three of em been made after all" You swear you can visibly hear a smirk forming on his face as he speaks with his back to you.
Theo, NYka and Kadevii,
The thinner Goron notices your fascination with his version of your weaponry. "Oh this? It was forged with Dodongo scale, Makes it spit out a burst of fire every second or third shot!"
Dagoro scratches the back of his head. "Mighty Kind of ye both, but I cant promise that. I'd appreciate the 'elp lookin for me old man but He's the one you'd 'ave to talk to bout findin the shrine. Is a sacred place for us Goron's, Is where an Ancient Goron forged the Bow used by a Hero of Old."

He pushes off into the air and swoops around once, calling to his friend in a voice loud enough for Theo to hear. “I think I’m ready to go out to the mines if you are, Nyka.”

Quiggley,
Alright, your 3 gargantuan rupees were exchanged for 30 Large Silver's.
Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny
“That sounds right up your alley, Nyka! We’ll find your old man soon, Dagoro!”
He pushes off into the air and swoops around once, calling to his friend in a voice loud enough for Theo to hear. “I think I’m ready to go out to the mines if you are, Nyka.”
