Nyka follows the others, observing the devastation as they go. Takes flight to keep an eye out for trouble. As the others talk to the guards, he is perplexed by there response. He flies higher into the air, to survey the damage caused by the quake, to see if the damage was isolated to the city or not. (Perception25)
He sends a message to the others {That was a big quake. Could there minds have been altered with? Does anyone have the skill to check that?)
Both Gorons are indeed tellingt he turth, You've spent some time around Gorons at this point and know that most of them are TERRIBLE liars. These two are no different, yet you do not sense any deception from them.
Nyka,
Gaining a higher vantage point, you rush up into the air and look at the surrounding area. Finding that the closer you got to the mine, the less damage from the tremor you had seen and now that you are at the entrance. You can see that there is no visible sign that the tremor was felt in this part, Given that it was a small quake. You think that perhaps there was nothing that could be effected by it in the immediate area. Yet the more you look around, the more you come to aceept that the quake did not stretch beyond the city.
Quiggley,
You can see the magical aura coming from your companions items, The plates grafted to Dagoro's flesh and from the Gorons heavy Maul but other than that, nothing sticks out.
Dagoro nods to you Praxius. "Aye, most of the mine is under the city...this is just the entrance. It'll take us back in that direction." He scratches the back of his head again, Still confused as to why the other two Gorons did not feel the small quake.
"Yur right, Heron and Leron. Make sure no one enters til we come back." Both of the Gorons standing guard nod in the affirmative to Dagoro, who moves upto the destroyed gate and waits for you all to join him.

Nyka flies back down and says as he lands "The quake was localized to the city alone. It did not reach here. We should move quickly." He'll head up to Dagoro and ask "How is the lighting down there? Will I need a lantern?"
"Thanks Quiggley" Paca says sincerely before handing the lantern to Theo again. "It is probably dark in there so take this again." He then whispers to Theo so Quiggleycan't hear him "Don't let Quiggley borrow it this time." Paca then moves up to Dagoro as he heads into the mine.
Quiggley turns to Nyka, "Theo and I have lanterns. If you don't mind being lit up I can cast light on you, if you would like."
Nyka tilts his head towards Quiggley. "Ahh, thank you, but no. I do not want to glow, I feel that would only give away my location. I have a hooded lantern if needed."
Following after the Large Goron, you all press through the broken gate with no difficulty except for Dagoro, who does take a few minutes to worm his way through but eventually he does and you find yourselves now walking through the entrance to the mine. Immediately taking a hard right turn as soon as you enter, finding yourself walking down a long winding tunnel at a steep decline. It seems to stretch on for leagues, It does get fairly dark as Gorons have excellent dark vision so the benefit of the lanterns provided by the group does allow you to see where you are stepping.
You hit another sharp right and follow it, with Dagoro in the lead. Looking around the tunnel is very wide, at least 20 feet and maybe 30 feet hight. With metal supports every 15 or so feet to keep it from collapasing, this tunnel was carved with Larger Gorons in mind as they would be the ones moving whatever is dug up deeper in.
The ground beneath your feet is packed and hard, leaving no sign of tracks as you imagine much heavier folk than you have traveled it. You follow this tunnel for at least fifteen minutes with no visible sign of it coming to an end any time soon.

Pacais keeping his eyes peeled for any and all threats. He casts see invisibility on himself as they walk, just in case someone or something is hidden with magic
Passive Perception: 18 as we walk deeper into the mine.
Kadevii holds his produce flame close to him, not used to being this deep underground. He’s a bird of the air, after all. He imagines Nyka must feel differently.
Dagoro nods "Aye, this is the way to the Mine Proper. Once we get there Im afraid you lot will have to take the long path down, The short way was constructed with only Gorons in mind." The Goron Chuckles as you continues your walk under the earth. After about twenty minutes you finall reach a point in the tunnel where it opens up into a very large cavern. Thankfully this cavern is well lit by small pools of bubbling magma so you can see a very obvious cart track heading off in one direction, while an opening in the far wall gives way to a river of magma.
Dagoro steps up beside this opening and looks through it, "Aye someone has been through here recently. Me Ol' Pa I reckon." He looks back at the six of you, Standing in this large open cavern that is atleast 100 feet high and 100 feet wide, you are a decent ways below the earth now. "Ifn ya got any more questions, Ask em now before We go our seperate way." Dagoro points to where the cart tracks lead off to on the other side of the Cavern, where you can see a far smaller tunnell that leads off into a dark void.
Paca, You have kept an eye out this entire time and have not seen anything out of the usual. Although you are feeling very unusual, as you are used to the wide open fields. Not being underground in snaking tunnels that lead on for what feels like hours.

Praxius turns to Dagoro, "Do the mines reach under the city?"
"Either way, let's go, whatever did this has a long head start", he says giving the big goron a nudge towards the mine.
Kadevii brushes his wings as he listens to the gate guards.
"I'll check."
Hearing Nyka's request, he briefly attempts to hear them out, seeing if they might not be letting on to something they know.

Quiggley will take out the lantern he purchased, and light it. He then returns Paca's now working lamp to him.. "Sorry."
Turning to the others he remarks, "There's no magic here other than what we have brought, so whatever broke the gates did so by brute force."

"Happy to lead the way, if you direct", he says.
