Following behind Theo you enter into the district known as the Skyhall. This district comprises the very center of the city and is noticeably without any sort of housing. Mostly open ground, worked stone paths and tall cedar trees, It's only structure is the Castle itself. A beacon for all those living within and outside the city, the castle is constructed of Marble and ivory. It acts as a shining beacon which you can see from all but a few select places around the continent. The street's are bare of any sort of life, While soldiers would normally be posted outside the castle. The attack has drawn the focus of most of the Army personnel within the city.
Huffing for air Theo leads you directly upto the Castle gate, A pair of large wood and iron doors that have been decorated with gold and ivory inlay. The gate itself is open, Taking a moment to catch your breaths, Theo peeks inside. You see no sign of life within the Castle interior, the Main hall is uncharacteristically dark. However you are able to see at the back of the main hall, where the Hall opens up into the Throne room. A single, pale burning blue-ish white sphere of fire.
It hangs in the shadowed interior for only a moment before it is extinguished. A blood-curdling scream echoes within the open hall, feminine in origin. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Praxius wastes no time in following the Rito as well, trying to keep pace with Knight Feld and Dagoro. His lack of knowledge of the city meant striking out on his own would likely lead to losing the Rito and getting lost.
"Where is it heading?", he calls forward to Knight Feld, as he runs hard.
Quiggley wastes no time racing forward into and through the hall. He flies close to the ceiling hoping the unexpected height will protect him from any immediate attack knowing that whether its the castle guard or the enemy, being strangers the group would appear as enemies to either.
He moves recklessly fast (flying Dash) but looks around so that he can see what is basically going on and can yell a warning to his companions if need be.
While youa re able to catch up with Dagoro, Knight Feld maintains a lead on you as you follow her through the city. The Goron falls behind but does his best to keep you both in view as you chase after the Rito. "Unsure, I just need a clear view of it for a few moments and I can bring it down!" Knight Feld calls over her shoulder as the three of you race up an empty street, a nearby building set ablaze by the volley of arrows providing more than enough light to keep the Rito in sight.
Knight Feld extends her hand toward the Rito, who is managing to gain ground on the foot pursuit. In a last ditch effort she casts Hold Person on the Rito, The Rito's wings immediately stop beating and go tense. It plummets from the sky, just before it could get out of range. Crashing Into the roof of a Smithy. Dashing to the building, the three of you catch your breath and ready yourselves before entering, not knowing just what you are about to face. Dagoro clenches his fists, Knight Feld unsheaths her weapons. "You ready?" She looks to you Praxius, her hand on the door.
Quiggley,
The ceiling within the hall is over 100 feet high, so as you coast up you become fairly certain that whatever threat looms within the castle would be unable to assail you from the ground. It is dark in the normally bright hall of the castle, you have to be careful not to hit any of the hanging tapestries or the large central candelabra hanging from the ceiling. Then a flash of light blinds you, for just a moment you see a simple lantern. One that you could buy from a store hanging just in front of your face before it vanishes, a chill creeps down your spine.
Make a Wisdom Saving Throw.

Praxius grips his magical great sword in both hands and nods to Knight Feld. “Aye, let’s do this”, he says setting himself to rush in when the door is open.
As he has for many decades, he once again relies on the sword to alert him to any danger.
The white light surrounds you, warming your entire body. It overwhlems your senses, you cover your eyes but the light has already blinded you. While you have the sense to keep yourself afloat in the hall, you have been blinded for 1 minute.
Paca and Theo,
Rae follows in after the pair of you, hearing Quiggleys scream echo in the large, open hall. It takes you a moment but eventually you find him, He is in the very center of the hall floating about 60 feet off the ground. He is clutching at his eyes.
Praxius,
With your blade in hand, Knight Feld gives Dagoro a nod. The Large Goron steps up and with one mighty punch, breaks through the wooden door. The hinges snap and fall to the ground, the actual door itself has been crushed in two. Immediately the Goron steps back, allowing You and the Knight to enter. Stepping inside, you find yourself in what appears to be a simple home. Single story, there isnt anything particularly spectactular about it. Entering into an open room that serves as both the kitchen and dining room, towards the back of the building there are two doors. One if firmly shut, while the other hangs open on its rusty hinges. The metal squeaks loudly, Stepping further in you discover where the Rito had crashed through the roof. Colliding with a rather well made dining table, a trail of feathers from where they had got up and moved into the room where the door is slightly open.
From inside you hear a whimper, a harsh male voice cuts it off. "Quiet, Do as I say and your mate will be fine." A distinctly male voice whispers in response, another whimper with the sound of sobbing.

Quiggley continues to hover fluttering in a five foot area. He sheaths his dagger before he stabs himself. Listening for anything close to him, but can't here anything.
Recalling his new friends he calls out, "Lookout! Something cast light on me. Ignore me! Find what's here!"
Praxius crosses the room to the open door, treading as quietly as possible. As he goes his cloak begins to shift and change appearance. It grows longer and a hood appears. It is no longer made of cloth but of black feathers.
He lifts the hood up over his head and steps into the doorway, ready for anything that might happen. He is well used to his sword warning him of danger, but he focusses his own senses as well, scanning the whole room.
Paca taps Theo on the shoulder and casts invisibility on him. "Somebody is in trouble. If you see whoever took her, this should help you get the jump on them." Paca then shouts to Quiggley "Fly straight down from where you are to me! I can fix you." Paca will cast lesser restoration on Quiggley.
Thanks to the direction provided by your companions you are able to drop at a reasonable pace, the first thing you can feel is your feet hit the soft carpet that runs the entire length of the hall, the second thing is a small hand. Paca grips onto your shoulder, a soft warmth pushes from him and into you. You feel it revitalize you, soon your vision clears and while the bright light has caused your eye's to unfocus for the moment, you are able to see again.
Theo, Examining the interior there is nothing that would suggest the Castle has been infiltrated. No sign of a struggle, blood even foot prints. However there is a strange shimmer in the air, hanging close to where Quiggley had been blinded. It is as if you are looking through water at the ceiling, but it is only in one spot.....and then it vanishes. A chill creeps up your spine, you get the strong feeling that something is observing you and your companions.
Praxius,
As you gently push one the door, your sword gives you a warning. Immediately you duck and watch as two arrows sail just over the top of your head. Looking in the direction they came from, Nestled in the back corner of a 10x10 bedroom. Holding a woman in front of them, you see the Rito. Their arm extended, within their feathered appendages a hand crossbow of an odd design. "Not another step" While you cant see his Beak, you are fairly certain the low, gravely voice belongs to the Rito. To the right of the room you can see a bed, curled in the covers is another woman who is openly sobbing. Clearly they had been sleeping when the attack began, and found themselves rudely awakened when the Rito crashed through their roof.
Knight Feld lowers her weapons, stepping in front of your Praxius. "Easy.....Easy now, dont do anything rash."

Praxius scoffs at the scene, “We are pitted against a coward then. Release the woman and fight with honour, or stop fighting and explain your purpose in the city. Who knows, the information you give could buy you your life”, he says matter of factly.
”But be sure of one thing, if that woman is harmed even in the slightest, I will gut you where you stand”, he adds removing his feathered hood to once again reveal the ox skull hat he wears and a grin expression on his face.
“I think that we are being watched!” Theo whispers loudly. “There was a shimmer on the ceiling where Quiggley was blinded, almost like looking through water. It’s gone now. Is someone able to sense magic around here?”
Quiggley casts Detect Magic and begins to rise back up on his wings about thirty feet.
"Thanks. Keep an eye out for the shimmer and yell at me if you see it. Detecting magic isn't the best way to find invisible people or things. It can find the spell but not what it is hiding.", he will say cheerfully to the others.
“Hopefully we aren’t too late!” Theo yells behind him, his lungs burning from the effort as he calculates the quickest distance to the castle.
