Praxius inclines his head slightly in a nod of respect but doesn't go nearly as far as Knight Feld.

"This Goron and stranger have done you a service. And this is Dagoro and I am Praxius, for the record", he says motioning to Dagoro and himself.

"Tell us, were you expecting a delivery?", he then asks, assuming this is the Commander.

Quiggley comes out of the side corridor. "I am Quiggley. That is Paca and Lizi. You are right to be wary! We have been locked in confrontation here with a Poe and something that mimicked being the king. The princess is comatose and in serious condition. Which is what brings us to our conflict with you. If your not the Poe or the mimic, then their is no reason for you to believe or trust us, and there is no way for us to tell your not just a creation of the two. Leaving us with no apparent means of avoiding conflict except doing nothing. Which will not help the princess."

Quiggley says as he comes closer using his Detect Magic concentration on the lady.

"Any suggestions? ", Quiggley asks.

Persuasion 8

Theo comes around from where he was hiding. “And I’m Theo. Now that we have told you our names, who are you? And what are you doing here? We already are aware of Poe in the area, so is there a way you can prove whoever you are?”

Praxius, 

Knight Feld motions to cut in front of you, as if expecting it. The rito holds up its left hand, its soft feather illuminated by the flickering firelight. "Dagoro and Praxius....I Am Commander Reli of the 2nd battalion. As for a delivery......?" He looks to Knight Feld. 

"Yes sir, we have intercepted something that was meant for you by way of another Rito" Dagoro looks over to the distant battle, Glancing a look at you Praxius. One that speaks of his eagerness to Join the battle. 

"Oh? and What is this delivery?" Commander Reli steps away from the fire, a few feet closer to the three of you. 

Theo, Paca and Quiggley,

The woman at first refuses to lower her guard. Moreso when Theo and Quiggley make themselves known, even backed into the corner and wounded. This woman seems content to fight if she must, refusing to even consider retreat. 

Yet her demeanor noticably relaxes at the mention of the Princess. "Z-zelda is Comatose? What of the King?" She speaks low, still uneasy around the three of you. "I am Shiek, of the Shiekah. Second to Lady Impa." She regains her footing, standing as straight as she can. "Poe? Mimic? What do you speak of?" This woman seems genuinely surprised at the mention of a Poe, it would seem she has knowledge of the creature. 

"We came to the castle because on seeing the ineffective manner the enemy forces were attacking the city, that the likeliest of reason was a distraction to attack the royals. On arrival we found the gates and front hall open and unmanned. We heard a female scream of No, drawn out as if in emotional or physical pain."

"We entered the hall. I went high my companions moved forward on the floor. A Poe with an un lit lantern blinded me. I sank to the floor, Paca healed me, I used magic to reveal the hidden Poe. Paca identified it as undead. Not thinking that we had time I unleashed a full magical attack. The Poe disappeared and the unlit lantern fell to the floor."

"Entering the throne room it was empty except for the princess unconscious on the throne with a burn mark on her palm. We used medicine and cure spells but could not revive her. We pooled our arcane knowledge and feel something was removed from her magically, until it is returned she will remain in a coma."

"At that time the throne moved and an injured king came out bloodied holding his stomach and carrying a long sword. We used cure spells on the king and explained that the princesses attackers must still be close and we needed to get back what they took. The king refused to listen going on about his grief and this and that but refused to identify his attacker or the princesses.  Finally he sent us to get lady Impa. I went and Paca and Lizi remained with the king and princess. I was in the hall going where I was instructed carefully when a figure appeared in the doorway of the room I was instructed to go to and the light went out. Lizi came into the hall informing me that the king wasn't the king and Paca was in trouble. I came into the hall to find yet another injured noble, you, appearing. You are caught up.", Quiggley explains rather quickly in a blur of words.

“Do you know where Lady Impa is? Perhaps she may know how to cure the Princess,” Theo says. Realizing this might be the person he saw before, he doesn’t necessarily trust this lady.

Insight: 14+5=19

Praxius puts his palm up to Dagoro asking for patience.

”The delivery was a vial containing an explosive liquid. The courier however killed themselves before we could determine if they were delivering the vial to you, or the explosion”, he says, not hiding the fact that he didn’t trust the Commander.

”Does that ring a bell in any way?”, he asks keeping a close eye on the Commander reaction.

Insight: 11+1=12

Spotting a large window that overlooked the city, Rae took a moment to ensure the Princess' relative safety.  The yellow zora then made her way to the window and opened it (breaking it open if necessary).  She climbed up the sill, used a hand to grip the sides of the wall and leaned her body forward.  In battle, the lack of information could prove fatal and it seemed most of Hyrule's forces were still unaware of the situation in the castle.  She needed soldiers to know.  So that any available body could tend to the Princess and hopefully prevent any further dangers to befall upon her.

Using Thaumaturgy Rae enhanced the volume of her voice and shouted at the top of her lungs, "To those serving under the Hyrulean Royalty: your king is missing and your princess lays in an endless slumber.  If you are capable and the situation allows, those in the military or have medical knowledge should come to the castle to assist!"

Praxius, 

The Commander is a stoic individual, while you are able to spot just the slightest twitch in his brow. You are at this time unable to determine the meaning behind it, He is a hard individual to read. "Im afraid I have no knowledge of another Rito or of a delivery, You say it took it's own life?" He looks to the Knight, standing beside you. 

"Affirmative, we had cornered the individual and before we could detain him, he took his own life. Praxius made the discovery." Knight Feld on the other hand seems to be on alert, she is trying to keep her demeanor in the presence of the commander. 

"Praxius.....Was it?" He takes a step towards you Praxius, motioning for the Knight to step away. "I find it curious that such a delivery would be discovered by one such as you." He stands firm in his position, while he is roughly the same height as you. You dwarf him in your sheer muscle mass. "Perhaps you are the one who was meant to deliver this package, working alongisde the Rito." 

"ELDIN'S BEARD, YOU COULDNT BE MORE WRONG." The Booming voice of Dagoro echoes from behind you, the large Goron pushes forward. Putting himself between you and the Commander. "Praxius had nothing to do with it, Suggesting that he would is nothing short of an insult." The Goron's hulking form makes the three of you look like children. 

"Of course, Pardon me." The Commander takes a step back, now you can see the unease on the Commanders face. Even one such as him is intimidated by the moving mountain that is Dagoro. 

Quiggley and Theo, 

Theo, check your player channel. 

The Hylian woman lets out a soft gasp of pain, leaning against a wall. Evidently her wound is getting the best of her and despite the concern displayed on her sharp features, she is unable to act. "Lady Impa should be with Commander Reli outside the city, aiding in repeling the invading forces." She looks to you Quiggley. 

"The King wasnt the King? Then where is the King? Is he not in the Throne room?" She attempts to look pass you, but with the castle still dark. Is unable to see anything of use. "Impa needs to be informed of the Princess' situation, and I am in no state...." She looks to the bloody clothes and her hand pressed firmly on her abdomen. Letting out a sigh of acceptance. "Perhaps you could fetch her?" 

Rae, 

Make a Performance check, With advantage.

Quiggley pulls one of his potions of healing out. It's very tiny but still it's hard to tell where he hides it. He moves towards the lady.

"We don't know where the true King is."

Quiggley will hand over the potion.

“Easy Dagoro, my friend”, Praxius says patting the big on the bicep.

”I am not sure what offends more”, he says turning to the commander, “being accused of working with the traitor or being called one such as you”.

”In truth you have no idea about me, but my friends and I have put our lives on the line for this city and it’s citizens multiple times now despite being newcomers. Strangers, you might say”, he continues, a frown on his face showing his displeasure.

”But I have been around a long time, and suffered worse, so I will put that aside. Now, why would they be trying to blow you up? And where are all the enemy bodies?”.

Paca stops and walks over to Shiek. "Let me help you with your wound before I go" He then lays a hand on her abdomen and cast cure wounds. She feels some of her wounds begin to instantly mend. "Hopefully that will sustain you for now. Everyone, I need to get to the Eastern Orchard quickly. Before it is too late. Come with me or go find this Impa, either way I believe my fate lies in the orchard"

Cure Wounds: 11

“I’ll go and get Lady Impa,” Theo says. “I’ll may also be able to find Praxius, wherever he went. Someone should stay behind with Shiek and the Princess’ body, and perhaps someone can go with Paca to the orchard.” Theo turns and runs out of the castle, intent on finding Lady Impa.

Praxius, 

The Commander sneers towards you, gesturing for Knight Feld to accompany him. Without Hesitation she slips pass you and stands beside the Commander. "If I may Commander, The Enemy do not leave corpses because they are creatures of darkness, born from malice.....Brought on by the Calamity." Knight Feld whispers, almsot uncertain in her explanation but could be confused with caution. 

"Knight Feld, That is enough. Come with me, we march for the front line." The Commander does not address you or Dagoro as he begins to walk towards the distant battle. "Impa, Ensure the civilians stay here." His voice calls out into the dark. From off to the side, a Being makes themself known. Hidden in the shadows for the entirety of your conversation. Dressed in dark, billowy clothes that masks their entire physical form. They nod silently to the order given to them and quickly jogs over to stop any attempt to follow Knight Feld and Commander Reli. 

Quiggley, Paca and Theo, 

Shiek lets out a soft breath, her body relaxing from the aid provided to her. "Thank you kindly Small one, Please. If you insist on venturing to the orchard, seek out Impa beforehand. She could help you." 

Rae, 

While you are unable to see anyone from this point, you are able to hear you message being shouted by those who were able to hear it. Ensuring that aid is indeed coming.

Confident that her message would befall upon the right ears, Rae makes her way back to the Princess' side.  The yellow zora continues to watch the room, making sure that no other evil could slip by unnoticed.

Perception: 19+5=24

Quiggley shrugs and puts his potion away as he heads for the throne room.

Paca gets upset at Shieks comment. "Why..Why should I seek out another person I don't know to lead them to somewhere they shouldn't have the right to know. Tell me..Shiek...Why? You could be a mimic or a poe or any of these other things I have no idea about. Tell me now. Why should I trust you or this Impa!? For all I know you are after what we Kokiri hold dear and I cannot jeopardize that." 

Praxius watches the Commander and Knight Feld leave.

"So you don't need help on the front line then? Looks to me as though you could use all the help you can get", he calls after them, looking at the bodies strewn on the field of battle.

"Well it isn't like this is my city, if you folk are too precious to accept help, no skin of my nose".

He turns to look at Impa, "Who are you then, what is your role here? The Commander always like that, or is he acting strangely?".

“I don’t know a lot about Impa,” Theo says, “but the one thing I do know is that she is loyal to the royal family. Fiercely loyal. I doubt that she would be working against them. However, Paca does bring up a good point. Why should we get Impa if the orchard is in immediate danger? What benefit would she have?” He asks Shiek.
