Quiggley Bowes as the king gets to his feet, then gets out of the way. Prepared to flutter along out of the treasure room.
"Probably most importantly, Is anything obviously missing? Not Rupees, or precious items, but irreplaceable things like a relic, or treaties? ", Quiggley asks.
Theo’s eyebrows furrow as he listens to what Shiek says. “Well, in that case we need to find both of them, and try and figure out which one of them could have done it. Bast may be trying to push his radical ideas, and Religion could be doing who knows what, but I have no idea. Let’s keep this between us for now; I don’t want anyone else knowing about this for now,” he says, his eyes darting as his voice quiets to a whisper. “The less the traitor knows we’re onto them, the better it is for us to find and expose them.” Theo starts to head in to meet back up with the group.
You can hear the clatter of metal on metal as the soldiers knees begin to tremble. Witnessing this intimidating, massive individual who seems to have some ability to manipulate a primal element. They grow no closer to you, in fact they keep their distance as much as they can. Dagoro on the other hand cant help but chuckle at the display, patting your shoulder.
Knight Feld nods and takes the lead. You, Dagoro and six Soldiers, who are staying about fifteen feet away from you, all walk back towards the city. En route to the castle.
Theo,
Shiek agrees with you sentiment, nodding along. "I agree, Keep the information hushed. Of course I will have to inform Impa, she is my direct superior. Once all the commotion within the castle has died down, We will seek out Bast and Reli to find our answer."
Paca and Quiggley,
The King is weak on his feet, his hand propped against the wall to hold himself upright. Taking a few moments to muster the strength to move, he first takes a look around the treasure room. Of course it would impossible to tell if any Rupees were missing. "....It looks like eve-" His sentence is cut short, taking a step closer to the treasure pile. He raises his free hand a little higher and whispers something under his breath, immediately his index finger begins to glow like a torch.
Using this light, he looks over the vast array of wealth for a few seconds. "The other half of the ocarina is missing." He turns to look at the pair of you, "One half was given as part of the festival to a contest winner, the other was held here until such a time the winner discovered it's true whereabouts and came calling for it. It was once used by a hero of old......What an odd thing to take from the vault."

"Yes, Your Majesty, it is odd! Especially when you consider Paca, here won the other half at the festival music contest and the Hyrulian who handed it out seemed loath to part with it."
As they walk back to the city, Praxius pays no attention to the soldiers at all, leaning in close to Dagoro and speaking quietly.
"Does a Lynel named Lyeuk mean anything to you? Do you think the distraction was to allow the Rito to deliver their package? It seems more trouble than it is worth for just that, there has to be more to this, right? For that amount of effort, something major must have happened", he says, making sure to speak quietly enough that only Dagoro hears.
Of course, Dagoro is not the most subtle of individuals, so whispering may not have been worthwhile anyway.
Paca pulls out the half of the Ocarina he won at the festival. "You mean the other half of this? What is the importance of it and why is it split in half? I don't suppose you would know of anyway to track an item like that. Perhaps an item used by the hero would hold some sort of magical energy we could try and follow?
As the others tend to their respective situations, Rae waits in the throne room. She watches as the medics tend to the princess. Out of habit, Rae scans the room for any lingering hostilities; doing her best to ensure no other surprises come up.
Theo comes up to the group. “Hey Rae,” he pants as he gets to the throne room, his voice still recovering from the run. “We found Impa. How’s the Princess doing? Is she fine now that she’s getting medical treatment? And does anyone know what’s going on with her?”
Of course when you lean in, to whisper only to Dagoro. It takes the lumbering giant a moment to recognize exactly what you are trying to accomplish, he leans over to meet you. You have to remember, as large as your are. Dagoro is easily twice your height, so communicating subtlely with him would be very difficult.
Nevertheless, Dagoro nods along with your probing questions. "Afraid not, Pa might know. He was once called the Lynel Crusher." Dagoro glances at the soldiers and at Knight Feld, who is softly shaking her head as she is able to hear everything he is saying. Bringing his large hand up to cover his mouth, he continues. "I think yous right in that regard Praxius, Whatever jjust occurser ere, we just the beginning." He attempts to whisper into your ear, albeit rather loudly. "I do think you hit the Octorok on the head with Reli though, something about that fella just aint right." Knight Feld glances over her shoulder, glaring at Dagoro. Immediately the Goron smiles and softly waves at her, trying to brighten her mood.
Quiggley and Paca,
"By Hylia!" The King exclaims out, taking a step towards you Paca. "So are you the Tournament champion?......How odd for Lord Bast to allow you to participate." He seems to trail off into a thought at this point.
"Of course it might not have been Lord Bast who was overseeing the event, Perhaps his aid? Yet why would he? He never wanted the prize to be the piece i nthe first place." He shakes his head after rambling for a moment. "My Apologies, Unfortunately I do not know the true capabilities of the instrument if it were to be restored. However there is a Legend about it, One I think you are already familiar with Kokiri." He Pats your shoulder, Of course referring to the Mythical Hero of Time. Who was a Kokori.
Then there comes a knock on the wooden door, followed by the voice of an elderly woman. "E-Ex'cuze meh......Is there a King about?"
Paca, Give me a wisdom check as you try to recall the individual in charge of the contest in which you won your prize.

Praxius slaps Dagoro on back in a friendly gesture, chuckling a little under his breath at the big Gorons attempts at subtlety which made even his own seem masterful.
"Time will tell", he says and moves away from Dagoro slightly so they could walk more comfortably and not seem so obviously conspiratorial.
"I don't suppose there is any point asking your opinion, Knight Feld?", he says to Feld quietly, looking across to the soldiers to make sure they are keeping their distance still, and glowering at them if they are not.
Paca thinks for a moment before saying, "The hero was able to control time.. what if we were able to do the same? Perhaps finding the other half of this we can learn something more of how he was able to control time himself. If we could control time, we could go back and stop this from happening and save the princess!" Paca speaks excitedly. "You seem pretty smart with magic Quiggley. What do you think?"
Rae sighs in relief to see more familiar faces, "Hey there Theo. The princess is the same as we found her, though it is good to have additional medics here to tend to her. Quiggley is down the steps there with several other medics. I found the king down there mortally wounded. The real king this time. How have things been on your end?"
Quiggley will look over from where he is holding the door open. Thinking a few moments he looks down. When he is finished he look s back up at Paca with a smile.
"I can't be sure. We still do not know all the pieces to the puzzle that is happening around us. That said it would be my guess that the reason his Majesty had the first half put up as a prize, and kept the second half here would be to draw a worthy person to himself to use a power of the orcarina. Time travel would be a good guess."
"Further, whoever acted against his majesty, not only did not want that to happen but wants to use its power for themselves. By taking the half here in the vault, it would be my intuition, that they hope to draw the second half along with the one capable of playing it to them away from the protection of the crown. Therefore, I suggest you leave your half with his majesty until we can find what was taken from Princess Zelda and the other half.", Quiggley both explains and suggests with both a smile and concern on his face.
Dagoro takes the gesture as it was intended and takes a step away as well, He is all smiles as you pass through the gate and enter back into the city.
Knight Feld glances over her left shoulder, making eye contact with you for but the briefest of moments before turning back. You can hear her sigh, While you may not have known the Knight for a long time. At this point it has only been the better part of a day. You are able to sense that what you are suggesting is weighing on her mind, she does see the reason in it. It's just being a Knight demands unflinching loyalty to those seen as Superior's, Commander Reli being her direct superior.
"I....." She begins before falling silent, she then looks over her shoulder once more as you finish glowering towards the soldiers, causing them to take a step further away. This time when you make eye contact with her, You can see that she does want to say something.....but perhaps cant at the moment.
Paca and Quiggley,
Ah Yes, Paca you remember the fellow fairly well. While he wasnt the most pleasant of individuals he was quite memorable for his demeanor and attitude while you were performing. He was perhaps the same height as the King, maybe a little bit taller but far thinner. He is a Hylian, with long flowing black hair that was slick backed to accentuate his pure lineage. While you dont recall if you heard his name. As you describe this individual to the King, The King gives an affirmative nod.
"Indeed, that does sound like Lord Bast. So you've met him, He is the 2nd chair of the Council. Acting as my left hand in all manners concerning the people of Hyrule."
Quiggley, Looking at this broken shard. You can plainly tell that some sort of magic is connected to it, powerful and ancient magic. However it is not arcane in nature, This piece of a Hero's instrument eminates Divine energy, not arcane. In it's current state, while the divine magic still lingers within it. It is completely unusable, it has to be reconnected with its other half before you can even venture to guess what kind've power it could grant the holder.
Praxius gives Knight Feld the merest hint of a nod, indicating that he understands that now is not the time, before turning his gaze to the way they are going.
He is not familiar with the city and spends the rest of the journey trying to make up for that by taking notice of landmarks, so he can make his way back to the gate without getting lost if necessary.
He also spares a thought for his companions of the previous day, wondering how they are getting on and hoping they are ok.
As for danger, he relies on the great sword strapped to his back to alert him of anything.
"By Hylia!" The King exclaims out, taking a step towards you Paca. "So are you the Tournament champion?......How odd for Lord Bast to allow you to participate." He seems to trail off into a thought at this point.

In all the confusion, fast moving action, and multiple unanswered questions, Quiggley almost missed a concerning detail, but like lightning striking it flashes back to the front of his mind.
"A King? Not? The King?", Quiggley will ask the elderly lady he opened the door for. He uses his leg to continue to hold the door open as his left hand grasps the crystal on his necklace and his right hand is ready to make somatic gestures. Quiggley prepares to cast Magic Missile if either the elderly lady or those with her make a hostile action.
Paca now drops his attention from the Ocarina and focuses it towards the elderly woman that has entered the room, noticing Quiggley feeling uneasy about her. He also readies himself for action should it be needed, putting the ocarina back into his bag.
“Things have been fine on my end,” Theo says to Rae. “We quickly found Impa, who was already running in the direction of the castle. We told her we were trying to find her, and then we ran back.
