Muir stands with Vin and listens to his questions and taking note of the answers given, unsure what to do with the havoc that's being caused. He is not surprised to learn the treasury is here conducting business.....
Once Sam is done with the treasury person and follows his monsters elsewhere, Muir will approach and ask
"Did you say you were the treasury as in from our plane or Northmorah, or just the treasury for Ginro?"
Elthana is quite surprised as they arrive in a room that is dubbed the Treasury. She looks from the monster to the dragonborn to Sam and steps closer to the woman, "I wouldn't let this creature into the treasury, it'll eat it. But it would be good to check and see if the other two creatures like this are already in the vault... it could be disappearing as we all stand here talking about it."
"You hear that?" Sam asks of the monster. "No eating anything unless it is given to you. Ok? We'll keep you well fed but you have to wait for us to give it to you, you can't just eat whatever you decide to... Understand?"
The dragonborn woman raises a scaled brow at Sam's claim, but Paul gives a verifying nod and if that didn't sway her the evidence of the monster standing before her and Elthana's statement makes it irresponsible for her to not at least double check. She sighs, taking Muir's question before responding to the apparent threat, "we are the treasury for this isle, I'm not sure what a Northmorrah is, but fine, wait here whilst I verify, you seem to have this... Creature on somewhat of a leash, any advice of one is within?"
Vin having had to give up on the fire in the room before the group was led away, has had to leave it in the hands of whoever Paul called to quash it. Paul answers the questions regardless, "there have been animal experiments yeah, observations of life cycles, domestication, some external upgrade stuff like designing the griffon saddles for maximum efficiency, Ingram could tell you more about that though. As far as anything cruel or malicious I've not heard of anything. Well... Nothing more than any other isle that has farms and such, we still use hafgufa skins as writing bases and leathers, but it's not like we're flaying them alive..." Paul gives a bit of a mild frustrated look to vin, trying to figure out what it is the boy is really asking.
“Advice?” Sam asks, confused. “Umm, don’t stand between it and the gold it is eating even as we speak?” Sam figured that would be obvious and the consumption of gold would be a quickening factor but they seem to have an odd sense of a treasury here and worry not about what’s stored within…
“We could come back later if it’s more convenient…?”
"I'd rather you stay here" the dragonborn states and gives a nod to the two guards before Ingram pipes up, "we are to gather the beasts, by order of Ginro, once you have verified please let us in there to do what we need to" to which the woman replies "understood" and casts a spell upon herself becoming a cloud of gas and disappearing off toward the vault which lies behind her.
"maybe, I honestly couldn't tell you, these things seem like more of a massive inconvenience to keep around. Though if they are capable of communication then... I don't know what he wants, anything I suggest would be guess work" Paul remarks
Elthana starts to get impatient as she waits for the dragonborn to come back. Turning to Sam, "If they aren't in the vault, can you ask your friend where else they might be? I hate waiting like this as they destroy this place."
And to Muir, "This is nothing like the Treasury back home."
"Wouldn 't exactly call them a friend," Sam replies to Elthana in Common.
"Our friends in there?" Sam then immediately turns and asks the creature, in Orcish. "Both of them?"
"But they aren't in a particular hurry, don't see why we should be," Sam continues in Common again to Elthana, jerking his head to indicate those at the desks and all who don't seem too worried about a metal eating monster in their vault. "Besides, I think our best bet to round up the others is with Timmy here with us..."
"Can you say Timmy?" Sam asks the monster, in Orcish. "Timmy!"
"one of them is in there" the monster replies in simple orcish before giving common a go "Te-meeeeh!" it screeches and seems to frighten or disgruntle the lines of clerks carefully watching it.
"I've not been inside the vault" Paul begins in answer to Vin, but is then interrupted by Ingram who deems to answer the other questions, "All guards on ginro her aree posted her from shenoh, it's a mutually beneficial arrangement, though the other isles have home grown guards, like Griff from Akiin, i think Gojiin has their own guard too but last i heard they weren't particularly... honour bound" the goliath yawns.
The gaseous form reappears after a few moments and then transforms back into the dragonborn woman, though slightly paler than before, she looks to the group and hurriedly says, "get in there and do what you need to do, it's a mess, thank you for coming, I've no idea how it got in there" before giving some orders in auran to the two guards and then loudly yelling at the clerks who begin to collect papers and start dashing to the exit.
One of the guards gives a nod and takes a scroll from his pack before running to the vault door with the group and producing a keystone, swinging the vault door open you all see a mess of gold coins and gems as well as thick papers covering the floor in a vast pile, the once organised shelves and bindings and crates for each category of item, now destroyed and being consumed by the one (smaller than timmy) monster who seems to be Scrooge McDuck-ing through the pile and eating to it's hearts content. Timmy's eye widens with glee but it restrains itself, greeting its friend with a loud "TE-MEEEEH!"
"Interesting", Vin mumbles, and then he and Ingram speak quietly for a moment.
If the Dragonborn woman had hoped to hurry him up, she will be disappointed, as he stays put instead of running towards the vault with the guards.
As he spots the amount of gold within the vault, he can't help but ask Paul and Ingram, "Does Ginro trade directly with our plane to get all that gold? Or is Akiin the middle Djinn?".
"STOP!" Sam calls out in Orcish to the gluttonous monster. Or, you know, the other gluttonous beast.
"Timmy, help me convince them?" he quickly asks as an aside to the larger one.
"We'll give you all you need to eat. Keep you full and satisfied... BUT you have to let us provide it. If you just eat everything you see there will be violence. The people who live here will provide for you all, but you need to cooperate and not eat what they need to live," Sam says in a pleading but coaxing voice. He hopes. (Another Animal Handling? Nat 1 for a 9... With Adv if Timmy is helping? 11 for 19.)
Sam gets an odd sense this isn't going quite as smoothly as he had hoped so he takes a quick look around to assess the room and the others, noting where things and people are...
Elthana is impressed that Sam's new friend doesn't just charge in as she sees his reaction to the piles of gold. She heads in after them to try and help wrangle the other one. She looks up and down to see if there are any holes or clues to where the third one might be lurking.
Muir continues to stand with Vin quietly listening to his conversation that is until he begins to whisper
Once Vin is done Muir would try to get his attention "Excuse me Vincent, may I have a quick word" Muir would proceed to talk quietly to Vin out of earshot of everyone else in the room
"Your line of questioning is well done, well done indeed. May I ask you a question...Are you thinking the tropps from Shenoh could turn into Nivarra's troops on some sort of command that has not occurred yet? Possibly they are here to protect the schematics of the box?"
Once Paul or Ingram has answered his latest question, Vin lets Muir lead him a little away and listens as he whispers. He replies in a whisper of his own.
"Well I am now! It is unlikely to be a command word though. More likely an item like the foreman's bell or Mori's staff".

Vin listens to Paul's answers, and merely nods. He doesn't notice the look of frustration at all.
"So you think Ginro will look for a way to send these creatures back to their home then?", he asks as he waits for the Dragonborn to return.
"maybe, I honestly couldn't tell you, these things seem like more of a massive inconvenience to keep around. Though if they are capable of communication then... I don't know what he wants, anything I suggest would be guess work" Paul remarks
Muir stands near Vin and patiently waits
"Have you seen inside the treasury? I expect it is an all you can eat buffet for these creatures. That would be inconvenient", Vin continues chatting.
"Are there no guards or soldiers native to Ginro? I think we were told that Shenoh supplied those to some of the other Isles, right?".

Perception to see if Sam can notice all this whispering and/or hear it: 11
Muir smiles and wonders where Vin's line of questioning was going if not there. Muir will wait to tell the others until they are done with the beasts
